We had dinner there, we had the Crab Fettuccine, Lamb Shoulder and Cauliflower florets, very disappointed with the food, the cauliflower was tasteless, there was no seasoning. The crab Fettuccine tasted with a bit of tomato sauce, very tasteless! Nice outdoor sitting area for a drink, and friendly staff.

This pub is not small. It has both indoor and large outdoor seating areas. The outdoor area is facing the open green field. The environment is so neat and beautiful. The staff told me their chilli mussels is nice. The fish and chips are one of the best in Perth. There are many types of fish for you to choose from to make up your fish and chips dish. Tap beer available. Free road side car parking bays only after 5 PM. This pub opens for 7 days and is busy at night. Be there, early mate. (2021-05-04)

This place is all about the atmosphere - essentially 'Freo'. Food is decent and service is reasonable given how busy the place is. Go back if you haven't been in awhile - good vibes.

This is a nice laid back pub with a good range of beers. It offers some standard pub food options but they also serve nice seafood dishes which one usually doesn't find in a pub, like the fish tacos I had last time.

The place was packed with eaters and drinkers, but staff were friendly and helpful, and food came out quickly. Fried mice not for the faint hearted, but you have to do it. The barramundi burger was delicious. Kids had a ball in the playground. Thanks Clancy’s!

The food was fabulous, the service exemplary and the fact that it was busy, therefore rather noisy, merely pointed to Clancy's popularity. Our family enjoyed a memorable experience. We'll be back :) .

Step back in time at Fremantle's Clancy's Fish Pub. I haven't been here for years and what joy to see the old floorboards, mismatched Furniture, chilled vibe with the very cool music playing. I had the $15 lunch special Battered fish wrap with chips. A feast for the eyes and generous serve. Yummy 😋 The staff behind the bar mixed me a refreshing non-alcoholic gin spritzer. Outdoor seating front and back too. Love this place 👍👌

Saturday approx 3pm. Found a table after a short wait. Food came out fairly quickly. All staff were great and professional. Atmosphere and decor inside is nice. Food is ok, bit expensive for what it is, the platter, tacos and garlic bread came too $124. Not great value. All tasted delicious, and was cooked very well.

Probably the best one. I think the canning bridge and dunsborough ones are closing soon. Cool and relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly with big grass area out the back for the rug rats.

Nice setup , very cosy and authentic . Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at 2030 on Friday , hence 4 star only . The only option to go with the stout was a pizza or chilli peanuts . The peanuts were great. Tim tam stout was unbelievably good ...

Nice mood and staff were very friendly. However food was very disappointing. We been to all the Clancy's Fish Pubs but Fremantle one needs to improve their quality.... Frist of all portion was smaller then other branches. Prawns weren't not fresh at all. Fish was way to overcooked.... we couldn't finish our meal.... squid was good though.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food all tasted good and came out a reasonable time. No table service was a bit of a waiting ordering drinks and food had to wait at 2 location to get both. The line for food orders did get long during time there. Rear outdoor area was nice overlooking park area. Seating was good all round indoors and outdoors front & rear. Street parking was good at time disabled bays out front. Access was good for mobility impaired all around.

My happy place. The staff are 99.9% fabulous. The food is to die for, though spend five minutes there and you'll go searching for the fountain of youth so you can spend more time there. So many different areas to either rant and roar* or chill completely out**. A book library. Lots of local info, copies of street press, and flyers for all manner of musical and artistic distractions both on site and off. A drinks range that could coming back 'til you're 236yo and still not cover the lot. Knowledgeable bar staff, and though I've been only going there for about eight months, the consistency of top barkeeps, mixologists, wait staff, cooks, and managers tells you mostly all about what the place is about. I've cruised past on nights when Google Maps tells you they're still open, but sensibly they've pulled stumps a wee bit early. What are the staff doing? Sitting with outside lights off, doors closed and locked, neon signs switched to the 'Come back tomorrow' position, they're inside having staffies, enjoying each others' company, decompressing after another amazing day in hispitalityville. I nod, wave, smile, recently shoved some comp festival tickets through the crack in the door to the duty manager, and walked off whistling, humming, or singing a sea shanty.* Or a bluegrass/faux gospel song.*** Or Sgt Hulka song.**** Me: so many years on this planet. So many years treading the boards. So many years in the music industry, so many years a hospo trainer, 10 years travelling this land mass in about one month's time. This place is in definitely in my top five venues for food, drinks, music, good cheer, meeting friends + acquaintances + randoms and having life-changing experiences. Add a dart board and a pool table and they'd be top three. Translation: awww yeah, it's a bit good, eh? ;-) * Sea Shanty night with The Lost Quays on first Monday of the month. 7pm for 7.30pm.**** ** Clancy's Country and Bluegrass Club with The Hamilton Hillbillies+ friends/guests on third Sunday of the month.**** *** Live, original music including pub choir, musical trivia, local, state, and non-WA artists on practically every other night of the week.**** **** Check local guides. Clancy's Freo, I have to ask: are you seeing anyone? 🤣

Monday afternoon arrived for an early dinner. First time in this area and the sign actually caught my eye. Paid parking (until 6pm) near the restaurant (First hour is free prior so eat fast 🤣). Chilled, 'locals' type of vibe. 👌 Staff were friendly and answered my "I'm not from here" questions. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Food was served fast and hot ✔️ Toilets impressively clean ✔️ Will be back if in the area, cheers again 👍 *Kids Fish & Chips *Chicken Burger (have to admit the chicken was quite fatty so had to leave half behind) *Fish tacos (These are the bomb)

Great atmosphere, complimented by a large selection of craft beers on tap. Clancy's has a decent menu with a great selection of seafood to choose from. It has great character and a warm hearty feel that many places now lack.

Good atmosphere, but unfortunately the food was disappointing for what we paid. The chips tastes soft as if they weren’t fresh, and the Balinese style curry had tofu pieces in it that were dry from the top (probably reheated or it has been sitting out for a while). Monday to Thursday there are special offers.

Food was mediocre, main barman is a knob, let some short obnoxious git in a dress, who yelled "you're serving me!!!" push in while I was waiting. Bar service was pretty much slack like this for our time there. The best part about our night at clanceys was the wait staff, they were amazing, friendly, funny and attentive. Thankyou Clanceys Wait Staff. We appreciated your service! Will not recommend and as a party of 12, not one of us will return.

Enjoyable night out with the wife for our stay in Fremantle. Wife is coeliac so has number of questions whenever going to a new venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had the parmi and some cheesy garlic bread. Both were good and I would have again. We were in pretty early so the atmosphere was a bit lacking but can't expect to much for 5pm on a week day. Would definitely go back again. (There is also a great outdoor play area for young kids as well if that is applicable to you).

Beers are always a good variety of local and craft. The food is overpriced and underwhelming, I usually get the chilli mussels and they are consistently good. Kids meals are cheap and cheerful. They real MVP is the atmosphere, the banging playground that is easily seen from the alfresco area and the little fish tank at the front of the venue. What clancy's does very well is provide a well layed out venue that caters to family of all ages and friends with a great service.

Ah, dude, words cannot express... I really don't dig seafood (a regular theme of our reviews), but these guys made a true believer of me. We had two of their "seafood platter for 2", and they were AMAZING. You're talking to a dyed in the wool, cheap, battered, fish and chips guy, but the prawns, the squid, the mussels, the grilled snapper - i have no complaints, and a bag load of praise. Oh, and they can cook a chip, dude. Or a bucket load of them. We had enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow (mostly the chips and the battered fish 😂), and we were stuffed when we finished (all 2 adults and 3 kids of us). Add to that the great location, easy parking, great graffiti across the road, awesome vibe and decor inside the restaurant, not to mention the awesome, friendly staff (they were so lovely, all of them) - we will be back, without a doubt. I just wish Google let you add more stars, for special places, on special occasions...

Admittedly it was lunch time but the lady behind the bar was not very friendly and the grilled fish was raw on the inside. For a fish dining place it was sorely lacking. The Guinness was good as usual but won't be back for food
