What a refreshing experience! Outstanding customer service by all staff, amazing food and great value! The trifecta that seems to be long forgotten by so many places. Just wish you were located in Brisbane!

The food was brilliant.. service was exceptional, tonight was my birthday, and the staff went over and above to make sure I was catered for. Barmaids were friendly and joked openly throughout the night. We had garlic bread entree, was hot and crispy, I had the seafood plate which was piled high and faultless all seafood was tender and crisp on the outside, salad was plentiful and the dressing was hands down the best I've ever had from a pub setting, chips were crispy and not over salted. My partner had the carbonara with chicken, was creamy and quite tasty, and chicken was tender and moist. My mate had the rump, which was perfectly cooked to his liking. For dessert, we had the Mars bar cheesecake, which they brought out with candles and sang happy birthday with other tables joining in to sing as well as bar staff.. food was exceptional, but the service was what was memorable, we stayed right up until close, we were made to feel welcome and weren't rushed out the door. Will 100% be back kudos to the staff tonight.

The Clocktower hotel is very good. My experience here was nothing short of perfect. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - both the man at the bar, and the women at the register. The food was very good, as was the milkshake. The atmosphere was very welcoming and despite how many people were there this evening, the place was very quiet.
The staff were also understanding when I asked if I could stay at my table longer, since I was waiting for a movie to start at the theatre close by. Even played Solitaire in the meantime.

Our seafood plate was great. Daughter in laws chicken had to go back as was not cooked through. Sons beef cheek was swimming in gravy which turned the mash potato into soup, ask for gravy as a side. So 2 of 7 left hungry but the rest of us were very happy with our meals and all were happy with the service. Staff were lovely.

Now serving morning tea, coffee and cake. Hot chocolate tasted good (though not hot) and the scones were fresh. Yay 🎉 The highlight was the friendly service. So far, the best cafe in Grafton. 💥

Not a bad place to take the family for a feed if you can afford it.
Pub grub isn't what it used to be or atleast not in Grafton.
Seems to be a trend with the other local establishments - average food with a steep price to match.
Atmosphere is good and staff were great.

Narelle and her team were able to accommodate our 60 person high school group for a Wednesday dinner. Meals came out at the same time and staff were friendly. Would definitely come here again.

My review on this hotel would’ve been very different. If they listen to the customer, I ordered a meal and I requested no walnuts. My meal arrived with walnuts.
Fortunately for me, I was able to push them to the side as I just don’t like them, but this could’ve been a life and death situation for somebody that was allergic to walnuts.
I think it is very important when serving a meal to customer. If they cannot remove the nuts, they should inform the customer.
My meal was delicious, but my review has now been tarnished by the fact that they neglected to remove the walnuts.
This is a very serious matter and shows a lack of responsibility from the kitchen

Lovely staff.
Medium rare steak come out well done (see image) and for $45 it is the only steak I’ve ever taken back. Asked for salad and veg and got mash and veg. Asked for half refund to be fair to them as they have costs of running a business but their tills don’t allow it. They did offer cake and coffee but not a sweet tooth. Possibly an off night in the kitchen 🤷🏻♂️

In Grafton for a 1 night business trip and we were recommended to try the Clocktower Hotel, just a short walk from our accommodation. Highly rated & obviously popular! The Staff were warm & friendly and definitely an asset to the business. Despite being very busy, the orders were taken efficiently and the food delivered quickly. Food was excellent and we enjoyed the Salt & Pepper Prawns as well as the Lamb Cutlets. Delicious! The Clocktower Hotel is my new "go to" when visiting Grafton.

I can't commend the staff enough. They are super helpful, polite, professional and patient.
On 2 occassions they have gone out of their way to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. With a son with food allergies they took personal interest in making sure they got everything right. Anyone dining out with allergies knows how daunting it can be and not to mention the hundreds of questions but the staff were patient and excited to help. My son is so happy and a bit more relaxed to go out for dinner now...to the Clocky of course.😁

Have you got Gluten free? And the answer was YES the boss's wife is Coeliac so she has a separate fryer in the kitchen and they prepare everything according to coeliac standards.
Huge variety of meals safely prepared, just let the staff know. Great range of cakes too👏👏😁😄

Food was fantastic and really large servings. Great prices. We shared the ribs and steak combo with extra sides. Yummy.
It was a little noisy as it was very busy. But an excellent place to go.

Decent place for a typical pub meal, especially for larger groups. Very spacious interior, lacking atmosphere but with friendly staff. 350g rump steak was a bit chewy but good value for money given the portion size of chips and salad. Pretty decent menu overall.

Best food in The Clarence Valley. They're definitely the masters of delicious pork belly 👍 along with their amazing menu and daily specials. The hotel is clean, modern, attractive & open. The staff are friendly, happy and welcoming. I've dined here several times in past 4 months and it never disappoints. Top spot 👍❤️

Atmosphere here is always good. Bar is always good. Food is a hit and miss. Most days are good. Then there are days everything is over cooked, dry.
Update 05/02/22...
It's been a while since I've been here for lunch or dinner, and I can say last night's meal was satisfying (Prawn and Calamari salad). I do enjoy the spiral potato wedges here always, and the small bowl is enough for 2.
Cocktails are less then average here. Ordered a Blossom Gin, was just blueberries, tsp of jam and gin mixed with soda. I wouldn't bother for $15.

Absolutely top pub, food is top grade and very well presented, service outstanding, staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you even happy to just have a chat. Beer is cold and plenty to choose from. Service was only given four stars as the pub is not open Sundays. A must visit if visiting Grafton.

Absolutely delicious food with a large range of options and HUGE portions. None of us could finish our meal. Highly recommend 👍🏻
