We had a late dinner here a few days ago. We arrived the Clovey quite late, around 7:30, the friendly staff told us the kitchen closes at 8pm so we need to order the food before 8pm.
We ordered Snag and Spud pizza with Italian sausages and potatoes. It was interesting. The fish and chips were nice, it comes with the salad too. It came with 2 fish which made the meal size look big.
The environment and atmosphere were quite comfortable and relaxing. The service was good. And we got a complimentary bread roll and butter each.
Would like to come back to try other food.

Very nice rooms. Great shower. Bed was too hard for me but still quality. Perfect location for my needs as I had stuff to do in near by.

The standard of meals on Tuesday lunchtime was way below that of the previous times we've eaten at the Clovercrest. The beef schnitzel (panky crumbed) was so thin and the crumbing mixture didn't look like panky. The goulash pie appeared to have just been thrown ontop of a bed of mashed potato and broccolini and carrots. Not very well presented as compared to our previous times.

The shanghai ribs tasted great, but the serving size was to small. The fish and chips were lovley,so was the chicken snitty the chicken curry was nice but not enough sauce so it made it a bit dry. But myself and my family loved it and will definitely come back

The retro style themed green dining room gave a nice feel to the experience with the detailed flora above the bar. Friendly staff, amazing quality food and a general overall love of the atmosphere from the place.
Absolutely coming here again.

The place looks great and staff are friendly and helpful, atmosphere good and no rush to leave after meal. The food is good and reasonable priced will go back soon.

Their vegan schnitzel and parmys are delicious 😋 the fresh warm little bun that comes with them is almost worth coming for on their own so delicious!
The service is really great and the dining room atmosphere and decor are really nice and relaxing, always parking available when I've gone
Can't wait to go back

The food was fresh, my dad said the fish was not shark meat, it was delicious, I ordered a Shanghai ribs, the taste was 100% similar to that of a Chinese restaurant, if you like Chinese food, it was right to try it. But if you're from China, I don't recommend ordering it because I'm sure you absolutely know how to make it! Try something else...

Meals were great, and portion size was also good. Ordered schnitzels and both chicken and beef were good. Beef one little to oily for my liking but been the best one I've had in a long time with the quality of the cut being pretty good.
Interior of this place is quite lovely and recently renovated. Would recommend this place for sure.

Its a pub. Sometimes it has beer. There might be food. I guess it has both most of the time.. if thats what you're looking for, this is where you want to be. A few good people
And Brad's not that bad.

Just kidding we won't...
And Jens a liar, Isaac may be a champion, but noone told him about the food he was serving... they should have mentioned it was the best food in the area 😋

Isaac was attentive in delivering our nachos and haloumi fries.
He is extremely knowledgeable in the dishes that are served
Naiomi is always making sure our visits are up to standard with Brad and Brandi delivering amazing service from behind the bar
5 stars isn't enough for this family friendly pub

I have eaten at this establishment three times, three bad meals, today's 300 gram ( really ? ) wagyu rump was tough and full of fatty gristle.
When I complained I qas offered a complimentary drink, which I refused.
It was a $38 steak, a refund would have been acceptable.

I am in a club that meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The pub where we normally meet is undergoing renovations, and someone picked this one. During the meeting, we had a show of hands about moving to the Clovey, and the decision was unanimous. It’s a busy place, especially for a Tuesday night. Easy to get to on a bus, the 506 stops almost outside in Kelly Road.

Haven't been here since forever, we were totally blown away with the renovations. The place is fabulous, the staff are friendly, and will have a laugh with you, the service was fantastic, the location isn't far from us and we will definitely be coming back

Haven't been here for years, I heard the fixed it up and that they did. It's nice and bright and lots of people go here. The meals are a good size and standard pricing.

Had a group booking here tonight, they went out of their way to ensure our group could sit together as they were all booked out.. much appreciated!..
the meals were amazing from the Salt & Pepper Squid, Rump Steak, huge Chicken Snitzels, everything was delicious and well priced..
definitely will go back ..

Great friendly staff, food leaves a lot to be desired. We had a large group covering almost all the menu in orders and the only positive was good chips. I myself had the beef schnitzel which was dry and tuff inside and swimming in oil on the outside. Would go back for the atmosphere but will eat elsewhere first next time.

Great food, fast service, reasonable prices and lovely atmosphere. .
Luke is the most friendly staff member with the most beautiful manners when phone up to book and always so friendly when we arrive.
Ladies in pokie are very friendly and caring towards my elderly mum Marian, getting her drinks, taxis and waiting with her.

Food was so delicious. Fast service, food came out fast and was so tasty. The place is so nice and welcoming and modern.
The complimentary warm toasted dinner rolls were such a nice surprise too.

Food was good. Went to get drinks before dinner and no Bundy. How unAustralian. Apparently the boss there won't serve it in the hotel. Used to go there quite a bit a few years ago don't think I'll be back.

Food is really good - but you get unfiltered table water which both smells and tastes disgusting. Majority of places don’t serve unfiltered Adelaide tap water anymore - so in that respect it’s very disappointing. Take your own water if you want to have a meal here.

Excellent for midday lunches. Bright and airy atmosphere. Carpet on the dining area floor and no intrusive thumping music makes for a pleasant meal chatting friends.

Easy ordering. Quick friendly service. Had the Lamb Skewers, nice but could have taken the vine of the tomatoes cause when I did they squirted tom juice on my white t-shirt 😕 But everyone else said they loved their meals. Maybe next time I won't wear white 🤣😅🤣

Another phenomenal meal at the Clovey. Vegan parmi is a must. Great vegan and vegetarian options. It's such good value for money, mountain of food. Would recommend, will be coming again.

All the prompts are about accommodation. We went there purely for a meal, so can only comment on that.
Very nice meals, nice environs, easy parking, friendly staff, busy on a Saturday night as you’d expect.
Not a place with any quiet corners, lively, good quality meals, and good timing of meals. We’ll be back.

A great environment that serves standard pub meals; the newly renovated pub is a great place for some drinks and vibes with friends
I've really been appreciating Adelaide's new trend amongst pubs; namely, renovated pubs introducing a great sitting environment for a prolonged state. The same holds for the Clovercrest - a longstanding pub that's recently undergone an amazing renovation that begs for a group of mates to sit in and enjoy a few beers whilst watching the footy
The thing that I'm noticing with a lot of these places is that their food is pretty standard for pub foods. For me, this is great because roots are still being appreciated; however, some may come expecting more
Overall though, great time out and love seeing the growing trend - will be back for some beers, for sure

Absolute amazing experience tonight when looking for a quick place to have dinner. The team's customer service was on point, service was quick and meals were lovely.
