Worst pub ever! I have just waited for one hour and a half and I left without the meal as my baby was super hungry! They didn’t let us know it was going to take that long when we ordered and they possibly serve members and seniors first as people with higher order number than me were getting their meals first.

What a great Venue!
Modern and clean with a great atmosphere, food for staying in or taking away and even taller toilets that you don't have to fall onto 😀 😜

We visit the club regularly and always find the staff, food, entertainment and atmosphere to be excellent.
My only criticism is that there is no good quality single malt scotch whisky available at the bar.
Otherwise a great club. Thank you.

We recently had lunch here. Very good service, spacious and pleasant. The food was great! I had the salmon with mash and my companion had fish n chips. Would happily recommend!

Very disappointed with Helensvale Club. 1st we had raw chicken a few months ago and now their chicken is overcooked and hard. Chicken was tasteless and just gross.
My steak wasn't cooked well done, nor was the gravy like gravy -more like a jelly. Chips were also cold.
We didn't complain to them about it today as while we were standing in line, we heard many others complaining about the food.
Drinks were good.
Gotta say, Josh and Riley who spoke with us, cleaned our table and cleared our table were lovely. Very well presented and spoke professionally.
Helensvale Club was clean and tidy, looks better with the new Reno but I did get lost (i don't know how but I did) maybe a few signs to help guide to the kitchen.
No dress code.

We hired a function room for our 50th Wedding Anniversary last week. We had friends and family from Sydney,Newcastle and Tamworth, travelling during horrific weather conditions. Everything, from our initial meeting with Madi to when we left that night was perfect. The tables and cake table were laid out beautifully, right down to the gold serviettes. Food was plentiful and timed just right. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Thank you to everyone that was involved

We held a birthday party on Sunday for my 90 year old father and 26 of his closest friends. The Staff were AMAZING, so helpful and attentive. The food was fabulous and really reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the venue.

Was a regular here years ago but meals deteriorated through the covit era. Went to try again Friday night and was so impressed, we went again last night. 5 star P&A Wesley

Visited for a friend's birthday lunch.
Raining when we pulled into carpark, but we were instantly met by a lovely young lad driving a golf cart to drop us off at the front door.
We were welcomed on arrival by the friendly Tony who showed us where to go and explained to our member friend how to activate her special " buy one get one free meal"
We ordered our delicious meals, some priced as low as $15.
They were quite substantial and came with a free soft drink or glass of wine.
I had grilled chicken and salad for $19.95 and it was delicious.
We bought coffee after our meal and it was also very good.
We had a lovely lady take away our plates , Diana ( going on memory) who had a lovely smile and was very pleasant.
This is a bowling club and looks like quite a big membership.
Club also has pokies and 2 CTV's to watch the latest sports
It was raining on our way out but the same lovely lad and his golf cart, returned us dry and safely back to our cars.
All in all a great first visit for myself. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing visit.
Waited almost an hour and a half and when we finally got our food 3 of the 5 meals were barely warm and side servings were wrong. Absolute chaos at the servery no one seemed to know what was happening and no one really cared. Kept telling me 5 more mins.There was one nice lady who came to our table to apologise.

Today I came in for my birthday lunch.
I ordered the lunch special steak and a calamari topper, wow, the meal was amazing and I mean amazing!! The chips were crispy and the seasoning was super yum , the salad was tasty and fresh, the steak was cooked to perfection!! The calamari was a bit underdone for my liking but still super yummy!!
The food quality was really on point for me! Thankyou for the great meal and even better that it was free as i used my birthday money! Thanks 😊

This is a great club! Hadn't been there for so long, and what have I been missing! Very welcoming staff . Great food at good prices, meat trays, cold beer ,and if you love 'Pokies', you're catered for as well . If you haven't been, it's worth a look. 👍👍👍

The meals were really nice in the bistro and definitely good size portions! The lady that served us was absolutely amazing and genuinely a lovely person. The wait time for the food was longer than expected with the few people that were in there

The club has been gradually renovated, and they've been doing a beautiful job. We only visit for the cafe after a class we do locally. They have some gorgeous looking cakes and make a nice coffee as well. The staff are so friendly, always a welcoming smile, and check if they can help you with anything when you enter the club. There's a golf cart to pick you up from the carpark and return you again if needed. So just give them a call and they'll come and pick you up.
I've given only 4 stars, as there are simply too many TV screen's around the club and its VERY intrusive. I've never seen so many. There is a giant screen that the footie is played on positioned right behind the entertainment. So both the entertainer and the enormous screen competes with each other. Then every wall other screens are blasting out various channels. It's overwhelming and we're always glad to leave again. It spoils an otherwise great experience.

Pokies, Footy and Racing, with a great dinning experience and bowls are the constructs to an awesome day out. Live entertainment. Great service. Wheelchair friendly. Lots of parking. Well catered for.

Normally our time at the club is great however we experienced such rude and obnoxious behaviour by one of your staff members (Tyler) when asking about ordering food. Her blunt response was that you have to wait till 10pm. Walking around as though others were beneath her was sickening and unpleasant. Makes us want to go elsewhere in future.

Nice new looking club.
Good food.
Bar staff were very slow, and there seemed to be only one young lady on. It was a Wednesday (17/1/24) night, but still need enough staff to not have to wait 4 minutes to get served and then no speed at all when there were only 2 or 3 people standing there waiting.
Otherwise, it is a good club and we will be going again to try some other dinner options and some bowling.

Great place for so many different interests. Lawn bowls; Great value lunch or dinner; Pop in for a coffee and cake or a quiet drink. Northern Gold Coast RSL Sub Branch meets here.

Great meals and a little play area for the kids so we can enjoy our meals why they play. Great deals, lunch $19 steak with a beer.

Great bowling club for visitors and members. Great bistro with good selections and a greater cafe for lighter snacks. The staff are always warm and friendly and there is always events going on for people to attend with friends etc. Really worth a visit.

Friendly and helpful staff.
Two dining options, with a Cafe and bistro.
We visited for the State District Sides competition and despite there being many bowlers and spectators, the staff were able to serve all without delay - the whole place seemed to be well organised and prepared.
Nice undercover area to watch the bowls.
The $5 social membership to receive discounts on food and drinks.

Food is appalling. This place gets worse every time we visit. Steak tonight. Ordered rare... Came out like a medium steak. Hubby ordered medium rare, came out more like rare. And it was like rubber, both of them. Horrible. And as for the menu change, what a joke, the food never changes. Boring choices. Think we need to stop coming to this place unfortunately. Not impressed at all anymore.

Food excellent service amazing 👏 room private.Having had a not so good experience at the Bowls club when last visited I must congratulate the management on their staff..no chit chat from staff between each other I'm always one for customer comes first their is a time and place for staff socialising all were very attentive.The club itself was inviting.. very good atmosphere..a Big thanks to The golfbuggy man that drove us to the front door and took us back to our car 🚗 all in all I shall return.

Awesome service from all staff that we interacted with especially Lauren in the restaurant area... food was not only great value but cooked and presented well.... a must vista venue for anyone in the area

Amazing venue undergoing massive refurbishment. Although a bowls club it definitely does not have a bowls club feeling to it. We were thoroughly impressed with the variety of activities and people from all walks of life. Admittedly we were there on a number of occasions as we represented the Netherlands in the World Bowls Championship.
Lovely atmosphere and great people. The facilities are outstanding and meals were sufficient in quantity and tasty enough.
All in all a good experience of a lovely bowls venue.
