We went Saturday night for a meal. The bistro was closed however we were welcomed into the bar for food. The chef wasn’t in but Jacqui was filling in and the meals were superb, I’m a very fussy eater and she did a great job. Staff and the locals were very friendly and informative about things to see in the area. We will definitely be back.

Very Bad experience here The staff Bumped the price up on the jugs once the place got busy.Also they added a card fee to the Eftpos I brought this up with the Publican and got told not to push my luck in front of lots of patrons.
One patron came over to me and told me I handled it well another put a post up on a local community group warning others about the price rise and bad attitudes form the bar staff.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AS YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF WITHOUT REALIZING IT.
NO STARES AT ALL FOR THE DISCUSSING TREATMENT I RECEIVED.

This felt like a hometown pub for me and my family , we were made feel very welcome and had great service.
The food was amazing , value for money and more than a full plate. Great atmosphere and good beers 🍻

Rude staff/owner. Down and out country pub that JUST exists. Its a shame because many years ago it was a great place to eat and drink. Drive past at 10pm on a friday night and there is usually one person at the bar. Food was not even average!! If i could give minus score i would. Disgusting

Really good night out. Absolutely beautiful food with good service. Duke box and pool table. Just wonderful old type pub.

Great little pub. We had 22 people there for dinner, quick service despite one chief down, no complaints from anybody in our group.
We will go back when back in Bairnsdale.
