Went for dinner not a lot of people in when we ordered but they managed to stuff up and sent our meals to the wrong table the food was ok but service was poor after we finally got our meals not in a hurry to go back anytime soon

We are regular visitors. Want to thank ALL the staff for their never failing great service, friendliness & their amazing ability to manage so well under pressure. Our latest family gathering was so well managed it made it a very enjoyable day. The food is great & plenty of it. Thank you. Wishing ALL the staff a very Happy Christmas. Looking forward to our visits throughout the coming year.

Very disappointed. Have been here quite often and enjoyed everything.
Not sure what's going on but the meals were all mixed up. To save them any trouble I accepted a meal slightly different from the one I ordered.
It was cool not hot.
One friend ordered off the seniors menu offered to him only to be told 10 minutes later it was no longer available for seniors.
Not sure if they were having a bad day but we did!

The $18 dollar lunches are delicious and great value.
Who can say no to $12 cocktails on Friday nights???

Such a nice hotel. The chicken schnitzel is amazing and the food is reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff is great and the reason for 2 stars and not 1! If you're staying on a Saturday night, don't expect to get any sleep, as the place next door blasts really loud music until 3AM. I was in a room right at the back and it felt as if I was IN the club!
Beds are awful, old spring beds. If you have any backproblems, don't stay here!
Food is mediocre and overpriced. My steak was cooked perfectly, but the quality of the meat wasn't great.
Amenities are basic, toilets and showers are shared.
Non of the towels looked really clean, looks like they mix wash it with coloured stuff.
Would not come back here, and not recommend this place to others. Rather pay a bit more and stay in a real hotel

Staff are excellent, friendly and provide great service.
However,
I ordered a steak, medium rare, and it was tougher than a hockey puck and over medium. Pulled a sizeable hair off the steak aswell.
Wife ordered chicken, came out dry.
If the food was better would 100% go back again but unfortunately it's just not worth it.

Ok, Went here for lunch. They have a $18 lunch menu. On that list: Snitzel, chips n veg $18.
But on the normal menu: Snitzel, chips n veg $27. Half Snitzel chips n veg $18.
Here's the issue, I ordered Snitzel, chips n veg and paid $18 as it was lunchtime at the time of ordering.. I got "half" a Snitzel, chips n veg. Not a small one but one that was cut in half. Please clarify this for future patrons.
The veg was a piece of cauliflower and a piece of pumpkin with julienned carrots and string beans. These veggies were good but the half Snitzel and chips were nothing to write home about. Edible yes. Service was slow, tho it was fairly busy (not full house). Easily more than half hour wait between ordering and receiving, approximately40 minutes. And I had finished my meal while others at my table were still waiting for theirs. Bit of an all round kerfuffle on the day I went.
3stars. Probably a little better when it's not as busy 3.2 stars maybe.

Ok so pretty much what we expected from a regional Victoria family community pub. Our garlic bread took quite awhile, as did our mains but we understood because the place was busy. What was disappointing was that I explained twice at the bar when i was ordering that my wife has a severe egg allergy so pls leave off any salad from the garlic prawns. The barman even repeated everything so I don’t believe it was his fault that the prawns came out with a salad! What was truly concerning was that when we brought it to the waitress’s attention she said she would simply take it back to the kitchen and scape the salad off the plate! This indicates to me that the kitchen and the hotel staff.are not trained in allergies at all, especially anaphylaxis. This is not only very poor for 2024 but downright dangerous. Come on new GM, get your act together.

My partner and I were really impressed with this place, I think my chicken parmigiana was one of the best I've ever had, this combined with a great low key local atmosphere, made our visit for dinner really great.

Me and my sister had lunch here, the workers where very friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back

Last minute booking for 8 people for dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Food arrived quickly after ordering with all meals coming out within a few minutes of each other. The Greek Salad was delicious and was a generous portion. Husband had the Chicken Parma which was thick, tasty and again a generous portion. Everything was reasonably priced for this style of venue.

Lamb shank (small serve) rather ordinary, too chewy (more like mutton) veggies good/edible, meal no flavour/bland. Chicken with shredded leg ham and mushrooms smothered in white sauce (runny) bland/no flavour. Sticky date pudding must have been out of a can, swimming in butterscotch sauce (overdone)
Service average, atmosphere bland like the food!
Just passing through, probably won’t come again! Cathy😕

I went with two friends for dinner Anzac Day,the Menu is extensive,choices to suit everyone,service was excellent and food was very good.Nice friendly atmosphere.

I wanted to give my Parma 5 stars. The flavour is there. Absolutely delicious. But I dont know if they are precooking and then rewarming, but the centres are always lukewarm. We stopped coming here about two years ago because the middle was never hot. We had a gift voucher for today so we tried again. I was excited because the Parma was different when it came out, looks great and initially tasted phenominal. The best I’ve had in ages. Until I met my old friend…lukewarm in the middle. My husbands was the same. This is clearly an issue with the prep as it’s always been this way. I’ll come back for this epic Parma when your kitchen has worked out how to serve a hot Parma right to the centre. Don’t change the sauce or ham…it’s absolutely quality.

It was a last minute plan to go out for lunch and it was a smart move!! We both had seafood platter and must say it hit the right spot ! Very delicious not greasy at all salad was crispy and fresh , chips were divine!! Seafood was good . Would we go again? In a heartbeat!

Had my Birthday Lunch on the17th December 23 at the Club. Food was amazing ( Seafood platter) for me and my wife had the Tortellini stack (yum). Great service, nice friendly staff. Highly recommend you dine there. Senior meals are also amazing.

got the half parma and it was huge, food was amazing, the staff are lovely and very welcoming, good for a few beers and a laugh after a long day. parking is a bit scarce though so first in best dressed

Fantastic venue with nice interior and great atmosphere. The menu is great, decently priced and food is always delicious; with the best meal being the chicken supreme. Staff are always friendly, offers a kid’s play area, club membership, the venue is clean and overall easy to access and located near a car park.

Arancini balls for entree were luke warm, cheese in the middle only semi melted. 5 minutes after receiving them, half way eating mains arrived, terrible timing in kitchen. Vegetable stir fry was like soup & Calamari & Avacado salad pretty bland. Wouldn't recommend.
