We went there today for lunch went in about 12.30pm and did not get food untill 2pm no one came and checked if we had our meals! Wasn’t happy to

We stopped in to the bistro for dinner while travelling. Little bit of a wait for food but it was worth it - the parmigiana was fantastic. We also had a bottle of wine as they had a great list that was very reasonably priced. We would definitely visit again and recommend to eat here if in Yass.

We stayed in Yass overnight and I called into this pub for a drink.I had an enjoyable Japanese Lager. I did not dine here.||Was quiet with probably only 5 other patrons. Quite spacious.||It’s located in the main town on a corner.||Male staff member was friendly.

Went to have lunch with my son and his wife and the grandkids. Food was fabulous and there was a play area for the kids as well. Would recommend this Club House Hotel to all

Went in for dinner and some beers with friends.
Had the 300g black angus scotch fillet steak with chips, salad, gravy $42. Worth it! Steak was beautiful, nicely seasoned, chips were crispy, salad nice vinaigrette dressing, gravy was good. Beers were nice and cold. Worth a visit. Would recommend!

Went for lunch for my Grandsons birthday.
Food service was slow as: only a handful of people, took forever (over an hour)
then the thai beef salad and the parmi were awful
was our regular, gonna bail out to The Australian

The worst pub or club in the entirety of Yass, Yass has always been an inclusive town. Though the club house has decided to refuse entry to me only for n a group of 4 2 female 2 male after being at the races it’s obviously a scam to get more girls than boys into the venue since they were all accepted entry and I wasn’t , I am writing this 30min after the altercation so if I were actually intoxicated you be the judge obviously want to drum up business with more female entrants than male and it’s disgusting police were there within 3 minutes, this is wrong and I was then refused entry to all licensed venues that night even though explaining exactly what happens to police when they arrived, disgusting

The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable, but it was a shared bathroom. The rooms are very quiet.
Meals were good and great value.
I will definitely be staying here again

Simple room, quite expensive for what you get. Not flexible if you check in really late. Friendly staff and helpful. No Wi-fi, there is one public wifi available but was not worth it.

Perfect spot for a charge for car and weary travellers.
Arrived 5 minutes after lunch serving closed, but the kitchen took the order and it was in front of us under 10 minutes.

Nice staff and the drink and air con was great after being in the car for hours. The meals - pub grub - were pretty pricey but there was plenty of food, but it’s not all about big meals . Guys, if you’re advertising you do a Thai beef salad then it shouldn’t be hard to find a recipe online and to make one - don’t serve a bag of mixed salad, a wedge of tomato and a sliced steak mixed through it with a bottle of oyster sauce or something similar tossed in for good measure . My husband’s Caesar salad was a better pick, again a bit heavy handed with the dressing but still okay. He would have liked a steak but they were very expensive.

Never enough staff on. Waited 1 hour for our meal and it never showed up. All other guests at our table got their food and finished. When we asked where our meals were there was no apology just excuses about computer glitch.
Not the first time it has happened. Staff don’t even know how to refund money back onto your card. Had to give back cash.
And to top it off the bar lady decided it was appropriate to kiss the boyfriend (who worked in the kitchen) behind the bar. (Not the first time that has happened either)
So unprofessional!!

My husband and I visited for lunch today, we were greeted with a smile and a hello by a lovely young lady I think she said her name was Kayla. She was extremely polite, professional and very respectfully mannered and dressed, it was nice to see someone behind the bar full of enthusiasm. I would like to say it was actually the most pleasant experiences I have ever had at the clubhouse hotel in the past 3 years of passing through, my husband and I both had the roast of the day which was a very generous serving and was extremely enjoyable.|The pub was nice, clean and friendly.|Thank you Kayla for your wonderful service, we will definitely be back and hope to see you again.

Location is good, close to the restaurants and shops.
Room is simple but tidy. We overlooked it has shared bathroom, the female shower area has no lock, anyone can wander in from public hallway, which is always open to downstairs public area, it felt unsafe!
Worst thing was live music plays from sat night till 3am sunday, the floor was shaking, like speakers under the bed. Reception didn’t mention about that when we checked in.

Let me say first off that the staff are lovely. We placed our food order very quickly as a bus load of people had turned up not long after us. Ordered the lamb cutlets and after waiting 1hr & 25mins they finally turned up - very under cooked. Any redder they would have be bleating. Could not eat them at all. Quickly got a refund and staff very apologetic. This really doesn't help when you have been travelling all day and just want a nice meal

Had a meal today at lunchtime with family ..of the 6 of us at our table 1 received his meal (he had ordered last) of the remaining 5 ,2 received their burgers after an hour 15 min wait.that left 3 of us waiting including a child waiting on a small bowl of chips, The table was visited by a staff member asking what we had ordered. No communication as too when the last 3 meals would be served, by the time the 2 hour wait occured and I was going to demand a refund. The chips arrived followed by a ceaser salad and grilled chicken breast and limp salad served on a plate that had been heated , as I am a celiac ( unable to process gluten ) I now have severe tummy pain, can only presume that my meal that on ordering was deemed gluten free had been contaminated during preparation.
Ohhhh we did get a sorry for the delay on delivery of the last meal and a small pizza that appeared freshly made .
Table 2 of our party were not as patient as us and 2 patrons demanded as refund.
Everyone had ordered at same time
Such a shame it's a lovely venue with a great playground for kids and clean amenities, but our family will not be back.
We appreciated the gesture with the pizza but had to wonder who ordered it and left before it was served.

Great country pub with a modern feel. Went for lunch, it was great value and delicious! Good sized meals, didn't wait long and would definitely go back again. Great customer service all round and made to feel welcome. Good location and recommended by a local

From the time we paid to receiving our meals, we waited 1 hour and 25 minutes. When we finally got our meals, the dinner was dried out, as in you could hardly cut, chicken. And a plate of, mostly, frozen beans. And there was no pride, at all, in the plating of the meal. The steak was not as badly cooked. But mostly frozen beans as well.

******DON’T ORDER THE OUTLAW OR DIANE SAUCE*******🤢🤮
Completely disappointed. Ordered a Chicken Outlaw. What I got was putrid. Didn’t look like it should and was completely inedible. My son had Diane sauce with his meal which was revolting and did not taste anything like Diane sauce.
The Clubhouse has gone down hill!

Didn't stay the night but ate and drank at the bistro. Nice food. Not a lot of options for non beer drinkers (cider/ginger beer/seltzers) on tap. It was a nice atmosphere to watch the game, lots of screens. Everyone seemed friendly.

Came here for the 'secret' big playground that nobody ever mentioned..
Good place to let your kids enjoy while we the parents enjoying the 🍻 drink.
Plenty of seating indoor outdoor.

Absolutely loved the vibe of the pub, both inside with the leather couches as well as the rustic barn outdoor area.
The kids are also well looked-after with a massive play area at the back and a fair few options on the menu.
Unfortunately, though, I find that vegetarians are often forgotten at country pubs with only 2 basic mains (veggie burger and pizza) available with the addition of some sides if need be.
The chips were nicely seasoned and crispy though 🙂

1.5 hour wait for wedges and pasta. Pasta was cold and inedible.
Young man who had the job of eventually bringing our food was friendly and polite.
