What an amazing experience. The war memorials are fascinating as you enter. Greeted warmly by staff upon entry, the venue offers a surprising amount of choices to dine in. We chose the Diggers bistro with a stunning lake view. The meals were lovely and price was good. The steak was a little small but it wasn’t expensive and it was so good, we’d get it again. Wow! Well done to the staff. The venue is quite attractive too.

Went for dinner, Asian food was pleasant, beverage pricing typical. On vacation so happy to pay for comfort.

We had two meals on consecutive evenings. The first night we had ribs for $12 and the second evening a chicken snitty for $12. Excellent sizes, well cooked and the prices were exceptional………. Our orders arrive within five minutes!! A large venue with an excellent menu with regular entertainment. Recommended. We joined the club for five dollars. The discount meals over two nights paid for our membership. We also got a discount at Black Bull Golf Course.

we ate in the diggers restaurant. nice venue and good club food at reasonable prices. was a very busy saturday night, with a fleetwood mac tribute show on (free). there was quite a wait to order at the bar (30 minutes) but once ordered, the meals came quite quickly, and were all very nice.

Very busy club offering cheap meals daily and regular free entertainment. I haven't stayed in a room but I hear they are clean and comfortable for their age.

Three of us had lunch there today. The meals were great and reasonably priced. Our biggest complaint was that the lady who took our orders must have been having a bad day, just about the rudest person that we have encountered. Apart from that it was awesome.

This was the second time we've been there this week. On Tuesday we had a nice meal before going to the Gaming room to play the Pokies. All good until some young employee of the Club rudely tapped my wife on the shoulder and accused her of being drunk. I explained that was not the case and she moves with limitation because of her physical disabilities. Then on Friday we went again. Again nice meal and again when leaving Oriental Palace, we were accosted by a security guard who said we had to leave because a duty manager said we were drunk. I requested to see the Manager who knew nothing of the accusation, saw that we were sober enough to continue with our involvement in the Club. We did and won $50. The humiliation, accusations and innuendos are disgraceful. Most of your staff are friendly, but some, like the security guard and duty managers need some training in social skills and proper service. W. e were accused of being intoxicated while there others totally off their faces and could still purchase alcohol. Deal with it before we come again.

This was a random choice, not having stayed in this part of the country during my 70 year lifetime. The place is a motel complex directly connected to the Mulwala RSL. We chose the deluxe room package even though there was more expensive and even budget type accomodation. The room was sizeable with a view directly out over Lake Mulwala. The morning sunrise was spectacular. Bedding was incredibly comfortable. The pool was clean and the garden surrounds maintained in pristine condition. The volume of Cockys and other birdlife will keep you entertained during the early mornings and evening!.In the package for the room type FREE cooked or continental breakfast was available. I don't think this was an option for budget rooms. Buying a membership to access the RSL ($5) allowed you access to amazing dinner meal deals at ridiculously low prices every night. Drinks were also quite cheap by city standards. We stayed for 6 nights. The food was ample and of an excellent standard. Out and about there are options for sightseeing. We ventured to Kyabram zoo, a 1 hour trip, and a local attraction near Strathmerton (30 min drive) called Cactus Country, which is certainly worth a view. Other things worth doing are just taking in the local scenery and the Silo Art at Katamatite, and at places along the Tungamah to Benalla Road. If you have a jet ski or like skiing or wake boarding Lake Mulwala is for you! We will definitely return. Next time it will be no more than 4 nights. The rooms are motel type so no cooking facilities in room.

They need to put toilet brushes in the bathroom. Most people would prefer to clean up their own mess and not have to leave it for the poor cleaner.

The room we had was a very good size. It was lovely sitting outside our room at the table & chairs provided. The only problem with the room was the whole bed shook if one of us turned around.|We went for dinner at the Chinese restaurant & we thoroughly enjoyed it there & the service was excellent.

Recently I was here for a two day business event... I was blown away by this venue. It's really easy to access, you follow the bridge from Yarrawonga across to Mulwala and you turn left just over the bridge into the club. There is oodles of carparking, some of it is under shade sails. ||If you are not a member you will be required to sign in using your drivers licence. This is very quickly achieved by slotting your licence into a machine and it prints out your paperwork. ||We were given directions to the room we were to utilise for the next couple of days. The room is well set up to run functions and it was catered for morning teas/afternoon teas. For lunch we headed to the nearby bistro where we were again catered for. The views from the balcony in the bistro area are breathtaking of Lake Mulwala. ||This is a beautiful location with a choice of restaurants throughout the club, great views, brilliant service. With accommodation onsite, this really is a one-stop all. You could spend time in the area and not leave the club.

Our second time here. It’s nice to see the rooms we stayed in have been renovated and they look beautiful. Comfy beds and new couches and lovely dining area. We ordered room service for the first time, Diggers is a great place to go for a decent sized meal for so cheap too. We really enjoyed our complimentary breakfast too :)

Nice place to stay. Food packages are a nice touch. Not that we ate there a lot. Like to visit different eateries around the town. The stone grill is something different to try. Meals in bistro have been all good.

Meal was ok. As l had a GF meal and it was huge and costly no take away. I paid for it. So now in future if I ever have to go back there will take my own container. Had to wait in line for 30 minutes to order then they said it would take up to an hour for them. Some people just left. Disappointing that was. Only 1 main till. 1 till for drinks and 1 to help with meals. Thats why so slow.

Great place to stay. Without exception the staff have been brilliant. Our room was comfy, clean and had everything we could want. Breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from, we had dinner on Monday night - steak night. Both of our steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. Cocktails were lovely too. So many areas to sit and relax. Pool was lovely on a 37* day. Really well worth the money

Comfortable rooms. There are several dining options and the billiard room is good too. Swimming pool & BBQ area could do with some more shade.
