What a great pub!!! So so so happy with the experience and food. Friends had warned us that the meals were big and they did not disappoint!!
I had the caeser salad, which not only was it huge, but really delicious as well! Sometimes there is a trade off between size and flavour, but not this time.
Fiance had the mixed grill and the whole thing was perfect (except the lamb chop which was unfortunately burnt), steak cooked to perfection and delicious crunchy chippies.

We enjoyed this Pub.
We had a sirloin stake (ask for rare, the cook it a bit too much) and well prepared kangaroo & crocodile combo.

Was our first time going here on the weekend.
Was disappointed as we went up to order our meals and when we went back to the table our drinks had been taken. My partner went and spoke to a staff member and they said they were sorry about that, I said well they can replace them, so he told them this then was told they were nearly empty. Which they were not, my coke was almost full and my partners beer was just under half. The girl replaced the coke but would not replace the beer but replaced the coke eventually. The rest of the staff had great customer service and the meal was fantastic. But if you go to order apparently you shouldn't leave your drinks on the table as they will get taken. When your in line for 30 mins to order its a bit hard to be at the table with your drinks. Not a great first experience.

The food is delicious. The meals are huge and well priced. The T-bone was cooked to perfection.
The Guinness is the best in Queensland.
It was a great atmosphere for our party of 27 people.

The food is delicious and the portion size is MASSIVE. I absolutely could not finish mine, but they were some of the best wings I've ever ever had anywhere. I highly recommend the smoked chicken wings, but if that's no your things, they have heaps of options. I will definitely go again if I'm back in Cairns. Fantastic food and atmosphere.

Saya was simply the best. The food was delicious and massive. Great music playing, lots of history regarding the local fishing industry and amazing hunting trophies... relaxed atmosphere and great value ... kangaroo tasted awesome and was so tender.. so much to this local iconic restaurant that I could go on... thanks for a fabulous night...

Pretty good pub grub! The chips are tasty and the servings are massive! Bring containers to take some of the food home if you're not a big eater like me.

OMG what a delicious rump steak! It was a generous size and so yummy. I recommend this place 100% and the atmosphere is chill and friendly.

Massive portions and good vibes! Loved everything. Ribs were so so so tender and hubby enjoyed his meal. Will be back for sure

I was very happy with my crocodile kangaroo plate. Big portion, delicious food. Don't forget to ask for the garlic bread before they offer it. If you are fast enough it's on the house.

It was a nice meal and a good looking pub. The meals were expensive and the value wasn't as good as I was expecting.

I really enjoyed the food in this place, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The only thing I am concerned is about the amount of food the restaurant disposes to the bin because every dish is massive.

Hidden gem of Cairns. Too bad we have only discovered the pub on our last night. The portions are huge
Crock schnitzel and Roo steak were super delicious
We couldn't fit the famous Death by Chocolate dessert, definitely will be back for more

Great staff, extremely polite and kind, excellent service. Great cold beers and amazing pub food served in very generous portions in a very nice atmosphere.
We had the 500gr rump, which was very lean and tender, and the 1k smoked chicken wings, which were extremely juicy and simply delicious.
Our suggestion: that they start providing take away containers - I had mentioned that we wanted the full portion of wings because we would take whatever was left for the following day's smoko, but they did not inform me that they did not provide takeaway containers (the gentleman at one of the bars was very kind and sorted it out for me, but a container would have been a lot easier).

Great service and very personable staff. My Meal arrived and I told the guy I could be clumsy carrying down the steps. A nice Italian guy. He said common I'll carry it down the steps for you. I felt like I was 80 years old, I'm not.
Very clean and good food.

Great restaurant! The portion of the food is large and the taste is very good. This is my first time to taste kangaroo . It tastes very good. I like it very much.

Great food for what you pay for. Quick and easy service. Warning tho. Portion sizes are VERY big and they don’t have take away containers. Parma was so delicious

Great food! And atmosphere, they cooked my steak perfectly! (something I rate harshly). Lots of taxidermy, which added to the feel. Place was visited by locals and tourists. I spose I fit in. Will go again, pretty impressed!

Great Aussie pub with huge potion of food! Nice atmosphere and lighting! Plenty of indoor romantic seating and family table at the outdoor area! Various desserts for sweet tooth as well!

Good and comfy place, no rush on the service but anyway fast, 20 min for cangaroo filet and crocodile schnitzel.
The size are big enough, no need the starter (if they don't ask you will have it for free... Have a try!)
The staff is friendly and fast.
Good place in town.

First time coming here and was fantastic. Customer service was great, ordered our food and didn't wait long at all. Food was delicious and was trying hard to eat all of it. Good size meals and prices are decent. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic atmosphere, booking is a must. Loved all the items, fish, sharks & marlin, furry animals hanging from walls and ceilings. The wonky chair didn't faze me, actually added to the fun family. The food was horrendous. I really couldn't eat it. Asked for lemon fish, overcooked and dry. Asked for no chips only salad with dressing on side. It came with chips, and salad was soaked through, very strong taste. . everyone one else was very happy with their dinners. Perhaps it was a bad night for fish.

Come here every time I come to Cairns, huge portions, delicious food and great price, can't go past the Giant Mexican Shnitty, pretty sure its actually a cassowary schnitzel going of the size!! Covered in delicious con carne, guacamole,cheese and sour cream, a delicious fresh salad and tasty crispy chips all for less than 30 bucks!.

Came here with my amazing partner and a friend for dinner. The food tasted great, cooked to order for all parties. Staff were friendly as to was the Security guard whom was also professional with a friendly welcoming personality. I cant say a bad thing about this establishment or the staff who strive to make things run smooth and the dedication paying off. Loved the display on every wall in the place, I think you'd need to spend the best part of a whole day just exploring and admiring the unique displays which are not only cool as hell but great conversation starter... and they don't speak a word but intise conversation 😊... recommended to all who read this genuinely honest post...

Bought the full rack of ribs and was thoroughly disappointed. They were grilled, tough, hard and inedible. I cannot recommend them. Don't think I can give no stars they were really really awful. Service was great, staff were really good. For $46 go elsewhere.
