We went to have dinner and ordered a variety of dishes including pork ribs, rump steak, onion rings, garlic bread, and chicken skewers. To our surprise, all the food items were delicious and cooked to perfection. Unlike many other restaurants and pubs where steaks are often overcooked, we decided to play it safe and ordered one rare and one medium-rare. We were pleasantly surprised that both steaks were cooked exactly as requested, and the quality of the meat was excellent. Although some parts of the steaks had a slightly charred taste, the staff were super accommodating with our request for additional sauce.
The pork ribs were exceptionally tender, flavourful and fell off the bone. The onion rings were crispy and very tasty. The satay chicken skewers were moist and very flavourful also. The dining area was clean, spacious, and the other patrons were friendly. We had such a great experience that The Colyton Hotel will definitely be one of our regular go to places for a feed.
Customer service was absolutely phenomenal (especially by the guy). Service was just super friendly and hospitable. We changed our table after we placed our order and none of the staff made a deal of it and more that happily redirected all our food to our new table.

Went out with my son playing pool and having a good night with no issues!!
Went to bar ....no one to serve me..Proceeded outside to play snooker
Returning 30 minutes later to find a worker at bar in backroom...mind u security told me she was in toilet. I question bar tender
...who's serving drinks she deflected and said iwas in toilet and poker room
I was frustrated that no one no one person....wad at bar to serve me and illustrated,anyone could help themselves to bar as no one was there
...not liking that she refused me more drinks and the islander security told me to leave
I feel as though they felt attacked and guilty for their inequity so they kicked me out..sI left camly. Though I felt as though I wasn't heard....sad to think pubs relate more time to their gambling patrons ...shame o u colyton hotel ,get better workers or up your standards

We had lunch at the colyton hotel today like we have many times and as always the food was served quickly, the staff there are so polite and friendly the meal was delicious. The atmosphere and decor is lovely and relaxing. Thank you to the staff at the Colyton Hotel see you next time.

We found the room to be very spacious and comfortable.
Very clean, comfortable bed. Good size shower. Great value for money.
Housekeeping were very accommodating. Management were very helpful, especially when I locked myself out of my room.
The Venue Manager was a pleasure to deal with.
Will stay again.

We checked into the hotel as a last minute reservation. Very helpful staff at reception and Bistro was great too. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and even had rainfall shower in the bathroom. We requested a late checkout and the staff was very amiable to our request. All in all would definitely recommend this hotel.

We always use the Colyton as the location is perfect for us.
Rooms are clean and comfortable with the Hotel available for meals.

Usually it is good but today went there for lunch and they renovating, which is fine but we ordered through the table qr code and we had to go and ask for our drinks after 25 mins. When our food arrived we were missing our entree which we also had to ask about and then had the person serving food come over to check what we had ordered on our invoice to make sure we weren't lying then said they'll make it now so by the time that was ready our main meals were finished. Also lunch special meals aren't on the table menu so you get overcharged and don't have options to select any specials

Toni and Josh are the most professional and customer oriented staff. They will go to any lengths to ensure your time at the hotel is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. Also ... best chicken schnitzel ever!

Stayed for 3 nights here. Wonderful place to stay because they completely respect your privacy. Room service was awesome! The bistro customer service needs to do slightly better (one staff member completely ignoring me while I was standing at the bar for a long time waiting to be talked to) besides that GREAT place to stay.

Service was amazing, and the lovely Nicole was very helpful with Me&u.
Food was delicious and well portioned. Great local pub with plenty of atmosphere. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner with friends and family.

Service and staff are good but the food is WWII depression era levels of quality. Gravy had a weird film on top and the texture of warm vegemite, parm doesn’t really taste like much either.

Room clean, spacious,and reasonably priced . But the food totally outstanding. Steak cooked perfect for me, wings with sticky sauce some of the best I have had. But the calamari was outstanding, lightly crumbled, and melt in your mouth. If ever this way and need accommodation am definitely staying here. Well done Coloton

Rachel and Chloe were the best hosts in the bar and bistro. My mate and I are visiting from WA and they provided both excellent service and fun banter as all staff should. Recommend you pop in for a Parma and pint and a chat.

On arriving to the bistro I went to purchase a meal order as we were lining up I had 8yr old son by myside the lady rudely told my son move away from the bar little boy go away you can't be here im like that's so rude he was upset and went back to his table.
Were does it say kids not allowed in the bistro this person should apologise shes a bully picking on a young child she should be more kinder with her actions but she had to be like that not even a please can you move..This is one pub that gets a big zero rating from me rude staff and burnt food..

Nice quiet spot to enjoy dinner with the family, staff were very friendly and happy to help at all times.
Menu had all the classics as well as some exciting options that vary from your typical bistro.
I had the ribs, absolutely cooked to perfection, bones CLEANLY slid out of the meat leaving behind the most tender, succulent and deliciously marinated slab or meat you could ever wish for...
Also should be noted that it was rather quiet on a Saturday night, little to no wait times and not many other patrons.

Its not good if you want quite place to rest. I booked fir 2 weeks and everynight is noise. Rooms is alright but the sink is just so small water spill on the floor when you have a face wash. . But atleast laundry is free to use provide your own powder though..

I booked 02/06/2024 a hotel for one night, and then I was told that I would arrive at 11 o'clock, I drove from Brisbane to Sydney ,but I didn't receive any message. How can I get the room card? Now I'm at the hotel, but there's no one there and I can't get through on the phone. Going to sleep in the car tonight.Came to the hotel and since they were closed no one contacted me or any message which sucks.

I attended the Sports Lunch (Fri 24/5) for the Colyton Colts. Fantastic day Colyton Hotel, service was great and the food/drink was excellent. If you are thinking of having a function/sport lunch. I highly recommend it. Keep up the Great Work. I will be back 🏉🏏🍺🍺👍👍

Have stayed 5 nights and bed hasn’t been made, floor hasn’t been cleaned
Very poor service
Poky little bathroom with a sink you get in a very small toilet. Not impressed at all

Currently in the middle of reservations and my order was not fulfilled via the QR code ordering and was delayed compared to the rest of our party. In saying that, they could not have gone above and beyond to fix the error and were so apologetic and made sure I was looked after. I'm glad I decided to definitely wait for my meal and eat after all because the meal was delicious. I ordered the Steak & Ribs which was cooked perfectly. Sorry I don't have any pics to prove it but it was fantastic.

Bistro area & amenities have been renovated tastefully. Food is always fairly good. Free trivia Tuesdays, with themed trivia last Tuesday of the month.

Attended sportsman lunch yesterday, great value for money,food was amazing and was really well organised function,Paul Gallen was the best of the 3 speakers and cant wait for it again next year,Thank you colyton hotel for a great day.

3 Asian chefs and no Asian dishes
So disappointing, good curry or pasta would have been good
Rather boring menu. Pricing okay, although $5.40 for a coke full of ice is a joke.
Staff were not the brightest but pleasant enough at the Bistro.
Funky chick at the bar was lovely though.
