Would highly recommend, the food was wonderful. I had grilled Barramundi and my husband had Prawn Linguine. Will definitely come back if we are this way again. Thank you for the great service as well.

While the lamb shank was reasonably tender, I've experienced better taste elsewhere. It possessed an overwhelming meaty aroma. Interestingly, the lamb served at the pub is halal. The ambience was great.

Went here Tuesday night for dinner, ordered at 6.40 asked for kids meals to come out first, waited 45 mins for ids meals and "starters" then another 10 for everyone else's mains, I ordered the special, snitty it was cold, chips were cold, veggies cold, pizza had been sitting for 10 mins no buzzer went off. Also bar star quiet rude and not friendly. Then kids were eating this was about 8.15 by the time we ate then the lights all got turnt off for comedy show, noone could see their food kids were sitting in dark to eat.

Went for dinner tonight at the hotel. There were a few full tables as they were off to the ballet. I had the Thai beef salad, the salad tasted yummy but the beef a little over cooked. Still very nice. My partner had the Schnitzel with Vegas and pepper sauce. Both decent sized meals. They have a great looking menu.

Veges could be cooked longer and the garlic sauce bit tasteless otherwise the food here is beautiful and substantial size.

Today we held our second large staff celebration event for 100 hungry and thirsty people at the Commercial Hotel (TheMersh), and it was as brilliant as ever. The food was terrific and Tash, the manager took amazing care of us all ~ in fact all the staff are friendly and efficient. Tash seems to always go the extra mile and we all feel like we’re the only people at the venue. I’ve also had great meals with staff & friends and fun nights drinking at TheMersh. It’s clean & friendly, and there are so many different areas to eat, drink, hang out and have fun. Can’t recommend it highly enough, and it’s one of, if not the best Pub in The Central West, but definitely in Dubbo. Cheers Tash and the team, we’ll be back! Thanks.

Tasty food, friendly atmosphere. The live music was fabulous and the staff were hospitable. There is a small playground for little kids which is fenced off. 5 Stars!

One of the quality options for a quality meal.
Comfortable dining facilities, quiet and the food is exceptional for a pub!!
Recommend the Rump steak..tender and perfectly cooked..
The prawn linguini was also delicious..

Nice pub meal. We had a bit of an issue as the steaks were very tough and chewy but on raising it with the kitchen they were extremely apologetic and replaced them with fresh steaks. The service was great. Nice spacious beer garden out the back and live music.

Historic pub with a modern twist!
This must be the best pub in Dubbo.
Massive in size and excellent service from the happy crew.
Thank you Chef for the classic bangers and mash. Locally made sausage is delicious and fresh.

Had the Best Salmon fillet, best cooked baked spuds & perfectly cooked Brocollini, Twice.
As well as the Best Bruschetta.....going back for a another before leaving Dubbo.
If ever back in Town, I know where I'll b going for lunch/dinner.
When we came back the 2nd night, we stayed for the Band out the back in the Beer Garden, they were a full piece Band & played alot of great Classics. Very enjoyable.

Great pub food. Good range of beer (including a few craft type beers) and good range of wine (for a pub). Friendly staff. Win Win.
The beef rib is *huge*. In the pic, the steak is a 300g rump. The rib is 3 x the size. I got through 1/2, didn't eat the chips. Still a huge chunk left.

Good food, nice environment, next time I am in Dubbo would go back here. Steak was a little chewy and overcooked but its a pub steak, what can you do. The chicken wings were good and were the ribs, chips were crispy and yummy.

Excellent salmon and chats. Sue and Cameron's meals were also enjoyable .
Beer and pleasant staff topped the meal off.

During my stay in Dubbo, we had rang in regards to the kitchen. We had arrived after confirming our booking to find out the place smelt horrible and that we had to wait an hour for the kitchen to open. The service was very poor and I will not be back nor recommended to others and not to mention the place was infested in cockroaches and flies.

Despite the name there's nothing so "commercial" about this place. It's got a very festive and family vibe to it almost like a locals go to place for a bistro night out. The menu has a generous selection, the bartenders and wait staff were friendly and the food didn't take long to arrive. I had the crumbed lamb cutlet and it was surprisingly well cooked and crunchy. A good pub place has got to make you feel good and this place has all the vibes for it.

Chicken burger took more than an hour, after 45 minutes I advised I have diabetes and was wondering how long my food might take because my sugar level was going low. Apparently 5-10
Minutes will be ready. We are at 20’ans still not here. Have ordered a coke. Hopefully that doesn’t take an hour. After that our food came out cold. Will NEVER come here again. Waiting for the reheated burger.. see how that goes

Came here for dinner Saturday night, our daughter asked about gluten free vegetarian options and the chef went out of his way to offer some Falafel (not on the Menu) with a Poke bowl for her. Very considerate and made her night, all the other meals were great also. We will come back anytime we are in Dubbo.

Bloody brilliant. I got the squid and considering how far they are from any ocean it tasted so fresh. And the peaking duck was also amazing. My partner had the schnitty with the mushroom sauce. Only complaint was not enough sauce it was amazing! And the outdoor area at the front is pet friendly for well behaved pups

A Tuesday night free comedy show at the Mersh. Wow, good effort by the pub to have something different on mid week. The snitzels for Tuesday Snitty night were dry, but the chips and salad were good.

Another excellent venue. Great staff, awesome meal service. Large outside beer garden with huge big screen to catch the sports on. Dinning room, functions area, live entertainment and more.
