We had a lovely meal. Schnitzels were generous with big portions. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was a great spot to watch the footy on the deck!

Unsure of Hotel Rooms, I was kiling time waiting for my train. A Classic Pub, no question I will be sampling the Menu next visit. A decent glass of house white wine out back on the old school elongated wooden benches and matching tables. Well equipped for Melbournes approaching Autumn/Winter chill alfresco style, inside was clean and well presented, and held an ambience of an awaited and expected Saturday night out for a reasonably priced Chicken Parma and foaming suds with mates. Pokies, cocktail menu, darts etc, it's
an excellent example of good old Aussie watering hole, dolled up a bit. I can honestly say, this time-capsule Pub carries a classic feel about it, and even if the modern technology of real time racing and Keno screens were removed, you wouldn't miss them owing to the obvious nostalgia decor.
You can hear the train announce its arrivals and departures, so if you get sidetracked and miss your train, just grab another drink, put up the boot souls and soak up the bohemian breeze
To be honest, I missed my 2nd train on purpose, it was so comfy and relaxing I didn't want to ruin it by rudely leaving a drink half full.

The food at the Commercial Hotel is delicious! The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, from traditional pub favorites to gourmet options. I highly recommend trying their signature Mexican Parma. The service is excellent and the restaurant has a cozy ambiance. It's definitely worth a visit!

Pretty disappointed with my meal, the description of the meal sounded great, Ordered the Mexican pork Enchilada, and when it arrived it was a cheesy soggy mess, as seen in the picture, the description was incorrect and did not have any of the ingredients that were listed, no corn, no beans, but instead there were green peas through the whole enchilada. Will not be returning.

Never had a bad meal here. The food is always great and very tasty. The staff are alway friendly and nothing is ever a bother.
Once you’ve eaten here, you will come back again and again

I was served by Stevie and Kasey and they were absolutely amazing so nice and quick service such beautiful people I would 100% recommend the comercial because of these girls they were amazing

I only moved to Warragul a month ago and can honestly say this is one of the best meals I've had in a long time and the service was second to none.
This is definitely going to be a regular location for me!

Hidden gem, but has to be experienced. Service is first class and welcoming, good is very good and if you want to chill out and relax, then I highly recommend this pub. Oh and $8 a point, outrageous 👍👍👍

Had reef and beef last week. Scotch was cooked beautifully! The prawns were perfectly cooked but were in an Asian style sauce with a hint of chilli. Was really nice but I'm used to a creamy garlic sauce with my reef and beef. I'd have been really happy with an Asian salad with these prawns but I don't think it would have gone well with the steak. I'm glad I ate them separately. Overall I had a fantastic 2 dinners 😋

Had dinner last Friday, Asked for a change to a meal and they couldn't do enough to accommodate my request, actually went above and beyond my expectations. Truely interested in catering for my request. A big thumbs up from me.

Great Scotch Fillet tonight. Flame grilled. Very tender. Great chips and salad. A big meal. The Bistro is serving great food.

Amazing pumpkin soup, super creamy and the parmas look amazing!
***There were many many non-vegetarian options but thanks for the bracketed falafel option on burgers, really considerate there, which were average, apart from soup and sides - maybe add some pickled element on the burgers to pop the other flavors - wouldn't buy this again, can you find some way to encourage a 'yes I would go out to buy that' moment? Friend had the beef burger which (realistically) looked like a generic patty with no love, admittedly the kitchen had some new apprentice staff which stuffed up the salad vs coleslaw. Parmas look amazing - can cook a chicken it seems, but other food is hit and miss. The staff were lovely A1!...

A fantastic country-feeling pub that provides a good feed. Meat-eater Parma was fantastic, chips were perfect and overall a great atmosphere and service.
