Will definitely come back to check out other menu. Delicious food and attentive staff. We had a little hiccup with our orders and thankfully the staff-Manisha sorted it out in professional manners. She keeps checking if we needed anything and asking how our food was. Absolutely spot on

Went their on Thursday evening I must say Lovely food , machine pays 😃and the little Asian looking girl with black hair was the best staff!!! Highly recommend if you are looking for best ambience around and enjoy your spare time.

Very disappointing, have eaten here many times and this was by far the worst experience. We were told they were busy and there would be a15 minute wait on Food which was fine, an hour later we had to chase up our meals. People who came in after us received their meals before us. We were never offered water, not one staff member smiled the entire time we were there and the table next to us apparently didn't receive all their meals. My wife asked for some extra parmesan for her pasta and the waiter said yes but never came back. Sadly, once was a great hotel has severely deteriated, would recommend the Bridge Hotel in Werribee for a better experience.

Took my dad out for drinks and lunch, great food and great service. Georgia served us, and she was great to talk to and dad recons she pours a good beer lol. He is now a regular

The roast pork was the driest rubbery thing I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting. And to charge $30 for three bits of rubbery pork is pathetic. It was literally inedible because of how dry and over cooked it was. I’m 30 and my teeth could barely rip through that. Honestly.. it was disgusting. $30 ??? Shame. Job mate.

Sally is such as awesome person to deal with when I come to the commercial hotel.
I have never had any issues with Sally at all.
Sally is polite and very considerate of everyone at all times.
And will be missed big time while away for 3mths.
She is such a great person.
10/10 If I could put that as a rating.

Only gave this a 1 star because the lovely bar staff were run off their feet and tried their best.
3 of us went out for dinner.
Garlic bread came out half way through 2 meals and I asked twice where my meal was the bloke just looked at me and kept walking.
Finally managed to catch the busy bar girl who went and sorted it out but by then I was eating alone as other 2 had finished.
The bloke that ignored me twice turned out to be the rude manager .
I think they need a new manager .
Even treats the staff badly and they were run off their feet.

No idea on how to please customers. Not only did they not have kaluha in the bar but we had to go out side to go to the bistro to see if they had it there. The barmen passed our beer thru to the bistro, so why couldn't they pass the kaluha thru?. The meals were OK but we were not allowed a 'doggy bag' for the left over on both our plates.
Certainly will not be back where everything we asked was too much for them.
Oh and male toilets were unclean with no soap to wash your hands. Yuk!
Update: 6:20pm. Friday. tried to call to discuss a requested. Call was answered then was hung up on before I could speak.

Most disgusting salad I've ever had.
I ordered a Greek salad with double grilled chicken. The chicken was super dry, and i luckily got 7 pieces hahah What a joke.
Espresso Martini was literally espresso shot with a shot of vodka in a Martini Glas. Black tea came in a teabag and still made its way to be loose swimming in my cup... 100% NOT RECOMMENDED!

I was there today eating in the Bistro at lunch had a beautiful meal. And the lady that served us was absolutely amazing Trish. Absolutely outstanding customer service and her tone and service was impeccable. Would highly recommend. Trish keep up the good work!!!

I've known Sally for 8 years, although she has a broken knee she is always the only one who is out doing a awesome job, cleaning in and around the bar, keeping the toilets clean, beautiful customer service with a smile. A top notch bar staff.

I have to say I went to the Commercial for lunch today, last minute decision and I’m so glad I did. I had the most amazing waitress named Trish, who was so welcoming and pleasant, nothing was too much for her. Trish made me feel like I was at home, lovely old school pub lunch vibes. I’ll definitely be back. Trish if you see this, thank you so much again and the food was delicious. See you soon.

I have eaten a few times and have been happy with service but this comment now I am making is to bring attention to management that on this night there was only one girl flat off her feet trying to juggle between running the bar, taking orders, seating people and bringing the food out. We had to wait quite a long time before we could be given our seating and then again to order our food then again for drinks. The food was good. We like this place because you can talk without yelling as it is a nice cosy place unlike the other pup further down the road.

I had dinner here this evening, the service was absolutely appalling, the young lady had no idea what she was doing, they weren't able to make a drink that was available on their list, to order these 2 things took nearly 15 minutes, if my sister had not already paid for hers i would have left.
Food arrived, it was average, my sisters meal was covered in pepper which to me is a personal taste and should never be put on anyones meal, pork dry, chips were nice, thanks for that.
Very very disappointed, and it wasnt worth the money we paid.

I had an amazing experience with this venue .
The customer service was top _notch, the food was good and delicious . I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality foods and excellent service @Manisha and Trish are so friendly and lovely staff .

i came in for dinner with my partner……. a girl named “Trish” was serving us for the night she was amazing. running around working so hard while it was busy she really did a good job 😊i had a really good experience definitely recommend visiting this lovely hotel for dinner THANKS

Georgia is the best bar lady , iv ever had serve me , she amazing !!!!!! Polite , and such a caring person , and she serves my friend who has a very disability, and every time he see her , he is so happy , it makes me love life. No one is like that these days … love Georgia x

Friends/Family have been having meals at this pub for some time. Always enjoyed the food. Sadly on our visit yesterday for lunch l had to follow up on my drink . There was a poster promoting free garlic bread but l was told that you only receive it free if they do not ask you which was not clearly visible on poster. Also another customer had been waiting for approximately 5 minutes to order then had to call out for someone to serve him.

Exceptional dining experience. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Special thanks to Manisha who looked after us, we were so pleased with the service we received.

Disappointing experience to say the least! Took 20 minutes to order two meals as the person serving didn’t know the menu, had no idea what wines were available and when asked for a cocktail (that is listed on their menu) looked on a shelf and said they didn’t have one! I ordered from the seniors menu and was told I would have to pay full price for the garlic bread as she couldn’t locate the senior option on her register! Food was very average and mine was covered in pepper. Pepper is not a garnish!!! I had my meal for 15 minutes before my sister received hers. Used to be a fairly decent option for a pub meal but never again for us….

Centrally located pub on Watton Street and houses quite a few patrons. The pub looks a little out of date both on the outside and inside, however, really takes home the win with the food and service. Consistent, decent portions of food served with a smile. Home to many local seniors which is lovely to see.

Came in with my friend this past wensday for the 1st round of state of origin. The sports bar had advertised the game for the past months, When we got in we get notified the bar was already closed 10 minutes before kick off, and the only game they had playing was from 2005! Wouldent recommend this location for sporting events.

Came here for the first time after being new to the area, had great bar service by woman named Trish! Very friendly service, always smiling and just a welcoming energy to the place! Would return purely based on her service!

Called in quickly for one drink. Very nice pub, lots of gaming and staff were very nice. Locals were friendly in the short time I was there.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Manisha served us with a big smile and was very professional in her approach, she made sure we had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back soon, hopefully when Manisha is working.
