We visited this venue tonight and could not fault , the service was amazing, good food 100/: spot on . The young lady behind the bar was outstanding, well done Lonny . We will definitely be back .

We recently had lunch with the family at the bistro. We found all staff to be friendly and attentive to the needs of our group. We would have liked to see some vegetarian options on the menu in the main meals section. Apart from that, the afternoon was perfect!

We have used this hotel frequently for work and it never disappoints
Carmel has always ensured all the workers have a place to stay no matter how bust and has been a pleasure to deal with over the past few month. The guys enjoy staying here, the room are clean and modern and the food and hospitality is always friendly a first class
I cannot recommend this place any higher, well done everyone

We attended a surprise birthday / engagement a few weeks ago .
The function room was a great space for the occasion .
The food was lovely ..bar staff were friendly and courteous.
Courtney and her team did a great job decorating and making the evening special .

Very poor security . Lost $17,000 worth of tools from a locked service ute outside my room at 3am parked under 2 cameras but poor light . DONT STAY IN THIS AREA IF A TRADIE WITH TOOLS !

Very accessible location and excellent service.I came here with my friends for my special occasion to celebrate but than I had some issues with the machine but the manager Manish was excellent with his support and helped me with it. All the staffs were very attentive as well. Thank You for making my weekend memorable Coolaroo hotel .I will be coming back again next time and I recommend this place if you are looking for some quality time and great food.

The meals were great. Tia was super friendly. Very reasonable priced meals and there is a kids play area to keep them entertained.

The food was beyond terrible, every single meal we ordered we ended up taking back and requesting a refund. We ordered fish and chips for our 1 and a half year old and they brought out her meal 30 minutes before ours.. safe to say she ate and ran off within minutes, even she didn't like the food. Stone cold! & they were just fish bites from coles. ALSO the playground they have for the children is beyond dangerous, not a single bit of light inside so you can't see where you're going and the other play equipment they have is "just for show" & doesn't actually work. Bad experience. Never ever again will I go to this place.

Stayed here for a couple nights while working here in Melbourne. Room very clean, bed comfortable meals were delicious, service is great would highly recommend.

Shocking service from the Bartender Lee.
She expressed very poor customer service when commutating with clients while bar tending and providing table service.
Her communication skills are less than desirable and require some adjustments
I would like to see the managers at the Hotel have a talk to her about
her behaviour.
I do not recommend going to the hotel when this lady is on shift.

Recently stopped at the Coolaroo bistro for lunch with friends, the staff were frriendly and greated you on arrival they were polite and obliging. A variety of food on both the Main Menu as well as the Specials. Good Selection on the Senior List also.

Recently called into Coolaroo Hotel for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were very obliging and greeted me on arrival. They offered a number of tables to sit at and also advised how to order your meal either via the me&u beacon on the table or directly with the staff member at the bar. The food came out quickly and was presented very well and the portion size was great. Would go back again and try something different.

Mother’s Day special!
We waited over 1 hour for the first of 12 meals to come out. It took an additional 45 minutes to bring them all out.
Every meal was stone cold. 1 meal was refunded as it wasn’t edible due to being so cold. The refund was for less than we paid.
One of the staff had friends or family at a table as they were served before us and they arrived and ordered after us. They even got served at the bar before me when they were in the cue behind me (doesn’t make sense).
We have been here many times in the past and the food has been good, but tonight’s experience was inexcusable.
Unfortunately, the majority of the group is going home hungry and won’t be returning.

Just hosted my 25th birthday party and the whole process was amazing. Alex helped me organised everything from day 1! She was very informative and communicated everything I needed on time. On top of that the venue was gorgeous and the staff was super friendly. Thank you for everything coolaroo hotel. Have a happy holiday! 💕

I've stayed at the Coolaroo hotel many times over the past 10 or 12 years and always been impressed with the friendly, helpful staff and recent upgraded rooms. The meals are generous and tasty ,the beds etc are so comfortable. The only downside is not having a proper, covered,seated smoking area for hotel guests. Ian. QLD.

I used play pokies at Coolaroo Hotel,years ago,then stopped. Recently, I decided to go for some fun ,but I caught COVID from going there! They don’t wipe down the machines and the staff don’t sanitise their hands anymore! I’ve been sick of 14 days..and I know it’s them because I usually self isolate to be safe. All I wanted was a day out! Instead I got sick! Ruined my Christmas and new years! Clean up your place! You need to go and spray the machines and wipe them. Tell your staff not to laugh and cough over our coffees!

I just celebrated my 21st birthday on the weekend and I couldn’t recommend enough having your function here. Carmel was amazing and so accommodating in the preparation for my event. Courtney was amazing helping with everything before and day of the event, she set up everything better then I could have imagined and was so accommodating throughout the evening and made everything run smoothly. Highly recommend having your function here.

Dropped in for a meal had a steak it was great and cooked how i asked for (medium rare) staff very attentive, nice cold beer and great TAB set up...yes i won... will definitely drop in again when I'm in the area highly recommend 👌
