We decided to try the local Hotel tonight. Staff were great however the Rump steak was terrible I couldn’t even eat a 1/4 of this and wife’s steak was of the same quality. Happy to pay for a great Steak at a high price but not happy to pay the high price for a steak that uneatable.

Till our waitress was welcoming and always made sure that we had a great experience. Service and food were all 5 star. ❤

This is a great local tavern for the area, been here a couple of times now and really cannot fault the place. The staff are great and lovely to chat with. Recommend this place all the time now.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Rude greeter, rude server, rude manager! As we were ordering our food, my mum had to repeat herself 3 times as the MANAGER taking her order would interrupt her to YELL at other staff. The woman taking our drinks order was the exact same. The food had absolutely no flavour and the wedges were literally soggy. On the way out, I stuck my head in the pokies to have a look, again with the staff yelling at each other while serving customers!
I don't know what's going in at this pub, but if that's how your management act towards staff and customers, the turnover is going to be extreme and no one will be going there.
We won't be back.

The food here has been great and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
We had the steak which was cooked perfectly and the chicken schnitzel which was actually a chicken breast with a nice crumb. The pepper sauce was also really good. The oysters are really nice and fresh, we have had them a few times now. The cocktails are good and well priced.

The chicken parmigiana I ordered today, June 12, 2024, was the worst I've ever had. The chicken seemed to go straight from the freezer to the oil. All the toppings were overcooked and looked like they were microwaved. The meat seemed off to me. The chips were undercooked. Now, I have an upset stomach after eating this lunch.

Service was great , atmosphere was great .
Although food was over priced and under tasted . Not to mention under presented . I’ve attached a meal that was worth $60 plus it wasn’t cooked properly , the potato was just slopped up and mush and pretty poorly presented . I walked out feeling hungry and disappointed
Our local is hope island tavern . You can get a far better meal . Cooked , presented and value for money there

Recently started visiting this place and it has been a great experience.. Staff is friendly and the chefs do a great job with whatever we order. Just haven't had any luck with their pokies so far.

OMG, it had been a while since we dined here, & it was SO GOOD ‼️
Every part of our meal came out quickly and it was all amazing and delicious. The service was absolutely wonderful, friendly staff, we enjoyed our entire experience 🤗

My husband and I love coming down for the steak , chips and salad dinner. Always done to perfection. The staff are very friendly, In particular , Sandy , who my husband likes to give a hard time … loves nothing better than to stir her up … all in good fun 🤗😅

Large size venue. Nice and clean and well lit up. Friendly staff and patrons. Bit difficult to get to and find and not sure about parking as I only saw 4 out the front and happened to get one. Must be a carpark around the back perhaps? Got some free snacks in gaming room and free coffee. Think free soft drinks were also available but can't guarantee that as didn't ask. Decent selection of machines. Worth a look

Kim the chef was amazing when asked to accommodate the various changes to our meals to cater for our coeliac dietary issues. Service was also excellent.

Just had the 300g (nrl) steak , was cooked perfect , tender and seasoning was spot on, cooked by chef Kim. If it was delicious. Will be back again .

Just finished Celebrating Mums Birthday here with the Family. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Tilly our host was excellent and took care of all of Mums needs. Jayden and the Bar staff were great too. Definitely Celebrate more Birthdays here👏👍

Judeen provided excellent service and smiles 😁. The gnocchi with vegetables was amazing 🤩
The management was awesome. Jayden is an incredible bar and cocktails attendant. He made superb lime and grey goose with soda 🥤

I have always loved going to the Coomera Tavern. Food is fantastic and the atmosphere WAS friendly and vibrant.
I say was... Because last night I took the family in for dinner. No menu, no friendly waiter/waitress. Just scan the Q code on the table number, order your meals and drinks from the digital menu and pay for it. No need to leave the table to even pay for it.
Yes, it's convenient, but removes all the friendly atmosphere and I didn't enjoy it one bit.
I've been in there in the past with large groups and one of us would pay for it all. What are we suppose to do? Pass the mobile phone around for each person to select what they want?
My partner has a disability and has difficulty with comprehension. It's much easier for her to have a real menu that she can view and take her time to select.
Sorry, but if this is the future of dining out, then I may as well order uber eats and dine at home.

Had lunch today at the Coomera Tavern - my wife had entree size garlic prawns, which was a very generous serve, and I had the Maroons Burger, which was huge, and very good value for money - and delicious!!
It's our 'go to' tavern for great service (thankyou Melissa!!) and great food.

Had a really nice dinner at a family birthday. I had the Ribs, they were amazing. The service was outstanding, and we felt comfortable in the bistro as a family. Definitely recommend.

Great service in a suburban location with an outdoor kids play area. A good extensive menu with plenty of different drink options available. All staff were extremely welcoming attentive & provided excellent customer service. Both of our meals were a complete let down as both our steaks were overcooked & dry & the garlic sauce had no garlic flavour to it. The menu has a good range and the prices were reasonable.

Food was well cooked but the produce was disappointing. Fish was fishy and mushy. Chicken was frozen. Sad because the chef was obviously talented. The salad could use more dressing but was a good eat. Not just onion and tomato with three leaves.
Atmosphere was dull. Not many people around. But the service was lovely. Felt looked after.

First time there and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed this establishment. Food was absolutely 😋!! Excellent service by actually every staff member... even with just a simple smile. The cheeky conversation from bar staff (me being cheeky... Him being professional). Great atmosphere, will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Disgusting. AVOID. Probably THE worst tavern food I’ve had on the GC (and I’ve been to many). Turned me off chicken schnitzel it was that bad.
The service was friendly, but the place inside is so small and you’re literally in eaves dropping distance to hear someone’s conversation with the table seating arrangements. Um no, not feeling the ambience.
We ordered the Parmi, Schnitty and two kids meals, the calamari for starters and the garlic bread with cheese and it was around $120 (overcharged).
The Parmi had a frozen chip amongst the cooked ones - FAIL. The chicken for both schnitty and Parmi is like a fake processed chicken (as well as the kids chicken nuggets) and looks like it was bought from Coles. The Salad was the most saddest thing I’ve ever seen and tasted disgusting (OLD lettuce leaves 🤢).
They got our order wrong and overcharged us, but I politely corrected the order on arrival of the food and they gave me a refund. Honestly THE worst schnitzel I’ve ever tasted probs in my life lol as in bought from a bistro. The food is not made with love and the prices are ridiculous for small little plate of calamari ($16?!) for a handful - rip off.
Service is quite good, but the food is not great, don’t recommend at all.

cozy vibes, delectable dishes, and Tilly, our star server at Coomera Tavern, who made our dining experience shine! We kicked off with the tantalizing garlic cheesy bacon bread and savored every bite. The Parma and schnitzel were culinary delights, but it was the heavenly mushroom sauce, served in its own side bowl, that truly wowed us. And let's not forget the refreshing lemon lime bitters – a zesty sip that perfectly complemented our meal. Huge thanks to Tilly and the team for their impeccable service

Came in for a beautiful lunch with the family. No faults on any of the food, it was all amazing!
Incredible food from Kim and Ben in the kitchen and great vibes from Mel, Tim, Nadyne and Ash in the bistro

Beautiful food, great service, our waitress Tilly was so sweet and helpful, she definitely went above and beyond for us. We ordered the Mango Salad with grilled prawns and Nachos and they were delicious.

The Bruschetta was smaller than most places, but the great taste made up for it.
We asked for it not to be too crunchy and they made it perfectly.
Very nice.
Ordered the Beef Cheek, Mash, and Veg.
This was a good feed. A good size and the meat just about fell off and was very tender. Great tasting gravy.
I would recommend you give it a try.

That was a good steak. I was a bit worried about the price of the steak at a Tav'. But it was perfect.
Looked small for a Graziers Eye Fillet 200g, but it was deceivingly thick.
Staff were lovely.
I'll be back.
