This place is small but frequently busy. It's a popular gamers spot for pokies and other punters..
It also attracts some of the local less desirable people.
Staff are always polite and friendly.

This is not a pub for fine dining, but more for poker players and sport punters if you happy with a pizza snack and punt you'll like it ,prices very reasonable

These pokes don't have a very high percentage payout Yeah I've been 10 or more times I've never had any sort of pay out
Not any luck on machines at all will never go there again You always leave the filling depressed ive had more luck at crown casino 3 out of 5 times i walk out of there a Winner

Staff are not very friendly. The woman there who seems to run the show is a vampire. She'd do anything to keep you at a pokie machine. Also, the place has all atmosphere of a dentist's waiting room.

Small but decent pokies venue. Doesn't have heaps of machines however it does have a good variety. Small.amoking area plus a car park Round the back if you decide to drive there. Staff are helpful and if you need to get cash out it’s a quick process with the atm in close proximity to the gaming machines..

Really nice bartender, atmosphere was fun, was my first time going to the pokies and actually playing. didn’t win but it was still fun. went in at around 3am so was very quiet which i enjoyed.

Quite run down, but for primarily teenage historical reasons I visit once a year with friends. A bit of a winner, $2K last time and $250. Leave when you win :-) also good to watch footy.

Not a great place.. Specially night staff so bad.. Name Ray and Lady wear Smily😊 sign on her shirt 👚 they are so rude people are spending so much money but they don't listen 👂 if someone ask change the tv channel. They don't care. They need to be retired need young staff.

Nice little pub/tab on chapel St reasonably quiet, great venue staff are lovely! Pub service had improved over the past 12 months! Love the team here! Great work

Local pokies... better than any of the others nearby. Better staff. Better slots. Better atmosphere. Generally patrons are free of blue rinses, instead you get those care-free, cashed-up under 30s devoid of the financial shackling that comes with a family and mortgage. They're out there each weekend drowning their care-free, happiness in a concoction of hard liquor and tears.

Lean great environment strickedon but remember no one really wins only the house , don't like exploitation of our older pensioners who are addicted and lonely , could be more proactive but it's a choice and who who am I to judge they ernt the right, but still lovely environment

Its 18/06/2030 at 9.25am. Just as the venue opened, I decided after 8 months of barring ( verbally by the same staff ) who is the manager at this time. Ive have not received and paper regarding that I have been barred indefinately. Mind you Im an entertainment artist who writes short scripts and song lyrics..."Hanson " ( who is a character Ive created and whom is a hand puppet ) The manager apporoaches me tells me that my behaviour ( My hand puppet ) is " quite disturbing " and tells me to leave. Ive havent been a threat to anybody. Its now been x3 that they have demanded me to leave. I left on 2 accasations and I was mistreated then again this morning. I have never had an issue like " Someone grabbing me by the collar and shoves me against the exit door with his force he pushes me out the door"?...especially on the streets I never had an alteracation like this.....is this even acceptable?
Swears at me rudely. Followed me closely like shoulder to shoulder and shoves me off with his (R)shoulder.
Whilst on the phone to the police who called me back on "private" asked me if Im a staff of the retail venue. I commented " No way I would never work for a place when I feel threaten and unsafe especially after this altrecation. Its unacceptable behaviour coming from not just a duty manager, but the manager who goes by the name of Shaun.
Especially that Hospitality is my usual work in the past before injuries. So I have existing injuries my back and then at another incident with my shoulders. What if he when he shoved my out the door I could have lost balance and have another injury?
Im a local who has been going to this venue some at hrs that not many people who are out in the streets.
I've felt safe in the past outside after leaving.
I wouldnt advise anybody to spend their money at this venue. NO WAY! 😡

I sometimes come here to watch and bet on greyhound racing. Like all other TAB places they offer free coke and coffee to those who bet on greyhound or/and horse racing here. They also have pokies.
I have been to other TAB places and by comparison Court Jester is better than them. The staff are quite friendly and the people who frequent this place are not unruly.

I love this place. I like to have a flutter every now and then. Got a bit peckish and the bar tender made us awsome toasties. Friendly staff and helpful.

I like it because its open long hours. The staff are lovely and they can handle all types. :) great happy hours and its fun once you get in the click of things. I've won heaps there

I don't gamble, but a chilled spot to sink $9 pints any hour of the day while puffing a durry out in the back with your headphones in and Spotify on spin without being bothered by anyone, as everyone is on their own buzz. Also, bring back the $5 schooners!

I'd like to thank this establishment for making sure I walk out a winner
The staff were really friendly when I lost some money they offered me more as leverage and I was hitting major/minor jackpots left and right
Usually casinos like this take profit from the player but they wouldn't let me leave until I won

Had a few good wins here at the court jester. Like $1,600 & a friend of mines she won $4,000 so the jester as we call it isn't such a bad place from time to time. Thanks everyone...😆

Great friendly venue, pokie music not too loud (you can have a conversation), best chicken strips ever (ask for extra when you order - they are worth it), lovely staff. Excellent place to unwind and you won't need a meal after one of their snacks - they are huge!

Good place for pokies but very limited space, less machines very disappointing and no food which is also disappointing. Staff is good and helpful.

Extremely wrost service I have ever Encountered my firend khange is a regular at this establishment and I meet him at this place to catch up with an old firend and the service was the wrost service I have ever incounted in the 19 years of my life Absolutely appalling dribble I asked politely and respectfully to the Indian woman( rather short) at the service counter to please make a cappuccino as it was freezing cold day and I don't drink alcohol and I waited for over 25 minutes for the drink to come out however when the drink arrived it was lukewarm not even warm to be honest and tasted like dishwater I was extremely shocked and humiliated by the bad service I didn't say anything Nor did I speak up due to the humiliation and awkwardness her tone and attitude also made me afraid to also waiting over 25 minutes felt extremely disappointed disrespected and unworthy I was shocked bye the woman's motives actions and attitude all customers at this establishment should be treated with grace dignity poise And equality please train your staff to learn the accorded customer service guidelines and in the near future please treat customers with respect they don't deserve this this has to be one of the most worst experiences ever in hospitality that I have incounted absolutely appalling and shocking please upgrade your services affective immediately or matters shall be taken further regards
