Went there on Monday with the boys. Atmosphere and decorum very exquisite, food was lovely, banter in the TAB was divine.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at this little slice of heaven on Earth.
Got mugged at the train station on the way back, was an eshay with a rat's tail, but since that's not in the hands of the venue, I don't hold it against them.
Shoutouts to Brett by the way, wonderful service! Will return to play pokies with my 10 year old.

This is my local hang out am there most days,great bunch of ppl even the bar staff can appreciate the opportunity to meet with different types of people.

The staff were wonderful. The service was fast and efficient. They looked after my group and I very well! I highly recommend.

The Courthouse Hotel is the best pub in Footscray I would go as far to say the best pub in the western suburbs. The Staff are friendly and alwsys up for a chat. It's a good place to have a beer and a conversation I wouldn't want to spend a Wednesday afternoon anywhere else in the world

Terrible place to go for a drink. Fights, drunks and junkies causing trouble. And, allowing Felicity to harass, threatened and steal money from people.

Staff that allows patrons to be abusive and racist on the basis that they are a regular. Was very disappointed upon coming to this venue. Also clearly no rsa being used by staff at this venue.

Small venue, only a few pokie machines to choose from. Have had some really bug wins there and the place Can get busy at times. Unfortunately had more than just a few people ask me for money when I’ve been playing. Then stand their awkwardly next to you, giving unwanted advice about how to play the machine you’re on making me put a reserved sign up and walk away for a min so that they leave me alone..
This venue don’t give out any complimentary drinks to players (not even soft drinks) you have to pay for them, unlike other venues that give out free drinks to customers playing on in their pokie machines, whom are more than likely losing... this venue has a small outdoor smoking area and the entrance out front is pretty big if you are wanting to smoke in a more open space. The area surrounding this venue could understandably be unnerving at night due it not having sufficient lighting. It’s located only 5 mins walking distance from footscray station and only 2-3 mins from quite a few bus stops which have routes that travel throughout a lot of the inner west suburbs of Melbourne. Also walking distance to tram stops that travel frequently to and from Highpoint shopping Centre.

Place has turned into a dive a schooner will cost you your life insurance avoid by night as it's when trouble seems to lurk around this place be ready to be approached by 10 people wanting a gold coin in return for a thank you just so thay can come back in a min or 2 for more last time I was here there was people drunk out the front sleeping on the bonnet of a car so entertaining AVOID AT ALL COSTS Leeds club around the corner is a better option and safer

One of the worst places in Melbourne to have a drink - I couldn't relax due to all of the screaming from junkies fighting with mentally-ill patrons one-after-another - and didn't feel safe.

Old school love the pub. Once you get past gaming. Out back. Lovely people staff. Are laid back but. Polite clean. Cool for a Quiet drink champagne beer spirits. Lots old souls. Lots laughs enjoy myself. Each time. I visit. Well done courthouse hotel

May not be the best in Melbourne but still good company and staff who looked after you (esp. the regulars). Most of the riff-raff are gone or barred and management stays on top of seedy types trying to pull a fast one. All in all, a good place to hangout for an afternoon drink or two.

Left my jack daniels stubby, beer and pack of chips on the table in tab while i went for smoke.. the staff took it.. said they thought i left.. been 4 a smoke 5 times earlier and nothn was moved .. not even half empty.. wouldn't replace it.. said i have to take drink with me.. i asked even when i go to toilet.. no response... i will never go back their... and the people were not the sort I'd like to be with at night..very disrespectful.. except brett.. nice bar staff.. the only one..

Just your average small pub and few pokie machines, crowd was mostly locals and regulars from what I could make out and people I spoke with. Staff seemed unenthusiastic, and bored to do their job when I ordered a simple scotch and coke... as they say, you gotta try places at least once to know, one too many for my liking...

Great friendly staff.the boss makes me great coffees .the pub has gone down hill due to the people that hang around outside drunk and doing stupid things it's not safe to go there now .

Good friendly people the only problem is it's a bit dark inside the back bar where the pool tables are other then that great they even offer a free sausage babie every Sunday morning all are well Kylie is a wonderful manager and the stuff are the same the Beer is the best in the area that's why workers intend to drink their it is also a rather safe and Secure bulding to be in all regular s are a great bunch of flowers my name is Charlie wheeler a long time resident here in Footscray .

Full of colourful characters and cheap beer. Well done to the staff for keeping the UFC on much to the dismay of the many Bulldogs supporters. Pity it's like 26 degrees inside during winter, way too hot.

Although I have been there several times they have a TAB and a handful of poker machines. There is alot of space in the back bar with a pool table. Ideal for a pool competition.
