What a really lovely place - run by a warm and friendly couple - Jack & Julie. I stayed on the "wrong" night and missed eating in the Bistro (the menu looked amazing) however, I didn't go hungry and the pizza I had was delicious just the same. The room I was in was small and basic, but priced really well and the hot shower had great water pressure. I'd definitely stay again but would probably "upgrade" to one of the family rooms next time.

We came here with 7mins to spare after an awfully tough drive through the mountains. We were so thankful the chef was happy to still make lunch for us. We ordered a steak sandwich to share and it was absolutely delicious!!!

Was at a bike show and had a blast. Staff were very friendly until closing. Would definitely recommend a stop there.

The kitchen was atrocious!!!!!!!
Service was extremely slow.
Food wasn't quality.
Orders were confused.
Black human hair in the hamburger meat.
Meats not cooked.
No chips
Why didn't they just say sorry kitchen closed instead of trying to battle on,their reputation is tarnished for ever now.
They said sorry, no refunds, new cook next week but who would risk it not me.

Super friendly owners that make you feel right at home. I had my usual chicken parmy and it was amongst the best I've had.
Kids enjoyed the playground and play area.

Such a laid-back family friendly atmosphere. Kida have a ball playing out on the play equipment they also have a gaming arcade. Food is delicious and drinks are cold.

Stayed for a couple of nights, welcome was fabulous from Jack and Julie, new owners. Spent the night in the Tavern watching State of Origin, such a great, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping here. Free camping out the back of pub.

On our way back to Victoria we stayed here and it was awesome. It's free to camp/pull up for the night. We had a few drinks and dinner! Why wouldn't you support the local tavern!
The service and food was amazing! Very friendly.

My family and I visited for the first time and were very impressed. The food tasted great, everything was cooked well. The people were all lovely. We got to enjoy our meal while our kids played on the playground happily. We were even able to bring our puppy which was a delight as we can’t leave the puppy home this little. Would highly recommend this place.

Just sitting out the back and being blown away by the playlist, cool breeze is blowing and the lovely lady at the counter doesn’t mind me just drinking a coffee and eating Doritos. Such a cute playground for my little one to play in as well as clean amenities, it’s a good day. Will definitely be coming by on a weekend day to try the food!!

Just met the new owners. Straight shooting pair, made me feel really welcome. Old fashion hospitality is hard to find.

Had a few meals here now, great vego burger. Partner has the classic parmi. 10/10 every time.
You do get what you pay for and the price is on the upper end of the pub meal pricing scale but the meal reflects this. It’s been great every time.
We bring our dog and sit outside in the garden. Great atmosphere and staff. They always check we’re happy. I’ll be back. No doubt.

Great pub, staff were friendly, pizza was tasty, drinks were cold, just what was needed after a long drive.

Great place to spend a few days. Free camp on grassy area beside the Tavern. Jack and Julie (new owners) are beautiful people so kind and made us feel extremely welcome as did the locals. Golf course just around the corner. T.V mobile 'phone reception ok. This would have to be one of the best we have experienced will be back. We suggest you visit.

Great choice stopping at Coutts Tavern. Spoke to Jack in the bar who shook my hand introducing himself and gave me a raffle ticket for the $1100.00 draw. Country magic!
Offered me a place to park overnight for free!
So I did the right thing and ordered a drink and a meal to pay back in kind. I was made to feel like family....5 star!

Food is alright. Main bar needs relocating out of the TAB area. Grubby smokers out front need to be moved. Great beer garden, owners are very nice people.

Fantastic pub. Incredible meals, great service. Wonderful publican. Good clean rooms. Not to be missed if you're passing through.

Country pub with accommodation in dongas behind the pub. The rooms were small, cozy, big enough to sleep in but no room to swing a cat, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well, although the hot water heat pump right outside caused a lot of noise which made it difficult to fall asleep.
I was there on a night when the kitchen was closed, but they had pizzas to feed whoever needed feeding, and the pizzas were excellent. Far better than I had expected.

Awful publican with a very nasty attitude towards customers. Rude, spiteful and called people scum when they requested a cold glass. I used to love this place but it has really dived since new management took over.

A great local pub.
On my visit we held my father's 70th birthday here .
There is plenty of space for everyone.
Dining inside with air-conditioning or just relaxing 😌 outside in the 🍺 garden.
Very friendly staff and great service with delicious food 😋 🥓🥩🍔🍟🍖🍗🍳🥚🥙🥗.
It is a family-friendly place with indoor and outdoor playing areas.
There is also affordable accommodation and space for caravans.
This is a must place to visit .

5 stars for everything! Jack and Jules are the most amazing and accommodating people. Had a couple of laughs with them. The food is amazing and very good value for your money. Definitely recommend having a meal and beer or three there. Thanks guys 😀 see you again soon 😄
