What a great club. So much space to move around. The restaurant was booked out but we found a spot to sit in the sports bar. Worth getting the $2 temporary membership as the meals are not only great eating but at a very reasonable price. Meals came out in good time. Well done Cowboys!

We turned up without a reservation on Australia Day with a group of 6 to discover the venue was fully booked . The staff were so incredibly gracious and accommodating that they sat us where they could until became available and put two tables together . The food was delicious. Especially the tasting menu and I would really like to mention our waitress Tilly .she was the epitome of grace under pressure . We had a great night - great food and wonderful service .

We received lovely service today from Elsie and Nidia along with the Irish lady behind the bar.
Large servings of food and great value for money. We will return to this venue. All the staff were very friendly. We ordered Chicken Nachos $9.90 and the Pork knuckle $19.90 drinks are also very cheap. Pint of beer $6.70 and a glass of sparkling wine $4.50. DEC 2023

Tried Cowboys club again last weekend. Happy to report that the GF garlic bread was much improved. Well done to the kitchen crew. Still a tad expensive. A constant problem people with a gluten allergy. Always paying more and getting less.

The food is revolting and the beers are $16.50 star graze is giving nothing but dry flavourless night owl food. No thank you.

The club is interesting.
They have a bit of everything for everyone.
Food, trivia, lucky draw, sports, bar, 2x restaurants, slot machines, kids play area etc
The food is decent 90% of the time. There are occasions when they are either too busy or something then the food quality decrease a bit.
The club classic meals are awesome. The pork knuckle is a must try 🤤👍
They have kids eat free (one kid meal free for every adult meal) Sunday (at Star Graze) and Monday (at Match). There are other deals for each day of the week. You may want to check it out on their websites.
They also have several different dishes of the month and chef meal of the month etc
They have plenty of car park and you can get the ticket validated if the boom gate is still down when you are leaving.
Will need driver license if you are not a member.
Things that could be better:
- Coffee not great, needs better bean at the minimum. Even hot chocolate not great either.
- The chicken wings at Star Graze a bit hit be miss. I think occasionally they are not steam before frying so they come out bone dry.

Somewhat disappointed visited for a meal prior to All Stars and should have taken a photo really - however my husbands salad had an insect in it. The waitress asked if we wanted a replacement and said she’d show the chef. Health and food standards ? If I’d reported them what would have happened. Should have offered either a refund or meal voucher at least. Like I said I should have taken a photograph.

Ordered the only Pizza on the menu that didn't have a tomato base as I don't eat it. When it came out it had a tomato base. Need to fix your menu's to be accurate. Left the pizza and went elsewhere..

Nice enough place but you need to take the Wok Fried Duck off the menu. It was so over-cooked, tough and dry you could barely cut it with a knife and had no taste.

My husband and I went into Cowboys for lunch today the 26th January, as the cyclone hit last night and no power.
My husband had the seafood basket and you could not even cut the fish with the knife. When I picked it up, it didn’t look right, but I thought I will give you the benefit of the doubt. It may be lovely, no I was wrong.
My husband said it was not very nice, but he ate it, as we have no power..
I don’t know if the people that is preparing the food cares, but we are paying for this food and it should be presented nice, not dry and the fish was pasty.
The food is very average now, it use to be lovely, very hit and miss.
The photo’s is the remainder of the piece of battered, burnt and dried fish that my husband could not eat, very disappointing, as he usually gets the seafood basket all the time.

Met friends, for lunch, at this great venue and enjoyed every minute
The staff were welcoming & friendly, the venue spotlessly clean, beer’s cold and the menu options were endless 💯
We all enjoyed a fabulous catch-up and lived our visit the the Cowboys Leagues Club 👍

Me and my partner have been going here for about a year now, it took us a long time to find a decent place to eat that was consistent with thier food.
When we went to cowboys the prices where really cheap for high quality food, the price you pay and what you got was more than what we paid for and let me say that out of all our meals we only sent one back out of probably 50 times going here only because of the wrong sauce.
The staff are really amazing and professional and they also have a joke from time to time which makes us laugh.
Go here for a decent affordable meal.

I was disappointed we didn't get one more chair in coffee bar. We asked it to other visitors a few times, nobody gave it to us even no one sit on the empty chair. They said it belonged to their friends or family. We were four people with only three chairs.
The waitress didn't help neither even I asked politely. So sad.
#Even the portion and the taste of food ok, but I can say I enjoyed tonight.
#We came from other town for watching Cowboys vs Warriors tomorrow night in QLD Country Bank stadion.

I’m a club member as they have great deals, discounts and ways to win prizes for just being a member. As I use walking stick or wheelchair they are so helpful and quick to help carry stuff ect. Very easy to get around the club. Staff are so lovely and thank you Jess for your help, hospitality and guidance to signing up and understanding of your club. Thank you

Great place to visit in Townsville. Friendly staffs, great set up of tv screens to view sport programs, racing, betting. And the cafe menus also great in taste and value for money.

Great food at good prices. Membership is good value. Was there for State of Origin 1 2021 and the package deal they had was very good value and great atmosphere. Ended up dining there 3 times. ☺️

Great experience at the club. Staff were super friendly and food and drinks were reasonably priced (especially for members). Nicely decorated with Cowboys Rugby league history etc. loved the aircon. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great experience.

Fantastic place great food and great people. We were up from Melbourne for a holiday and enjoyed eating there. Prices were very good. They offer a month membership for visitors on holidays for $2 then you get the members price for meals and drinks and the cowboys nrl shop. Going to miss this place when we go home

Disappointed would be an understatement.
Ordered the Paytens Platter for 2 and what we were given resembled left over scraps.
When queried with one of the wait staff, apparently some of the items on the platter had changed but the menu hadn’t reflected this.
Don’t ever order this dish again, you’ll be given a meal not even worthy of making it to a dog bowl

Coffee was fair, service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Meals varied between food and fair. Members' price is a great bonus.

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. Was very busy (likely due to members specials on Tuesdays). We ordered the Pork Knuckle, a Pulled beef burrito bowl and a side of veggies. Great prices for the serving sizes but not too much flavour. Pork knuckle was crispy so that was good however the burrito bowl was very mediocre - we could barely spot any beans in the whole bowl and the avocado was equally non-existent. Other meals looked a lot better than the burrito bowl though so could have been a bad choice on our part.

Despite it being extremely busy and no tables left to dine, the waitress Annette (who is a legend) took my number and called when there was a table ready. She was very kind and asking questions. She also saw I was waiting a while for my meal and without asking she went and found out how long it will be. I had the crab and salmon stack. Was a nice light meal and worth the wait.

A little disappointed. We have been coming here and became a member for about 5 days ago. Today ordered Quiche of the Day, ham, cheese, and tomato. Disappointing as the piece I had had no ham at all, lots of tomatoes but not a single ham in the piece that I had. The salad, there was no dressing, so it was very dry and bland. Otherwise, the rest of our time we came to eat here was pretty good and the price are pretty reasonable.

A great place to have dinner, coffee or a slice of cake.
Wonderful staff that make you feel welcome. 2 staff members make this club - Annette in match restaurant and Tania at the desk. Well done ladies. Always bust but take the time for a chat - thank you very much

25$ for a pasta with barely any meat in it. Kids meals fish and chips was awful, the fish was undercooked and very soggy inside, couldn’t feed it to my toddler. This place used to be good but you can see their quality is going downhill. I hope it improves again as their concept is great.
