Wholesome and filling vegetarian option, great atmosphere, acoustics for live music inside were great, wait time for drinks was a bit long but that's staffing today. Will be back in a fortnight!

What a great restaurant they have here. The snitty was awesome as were the barramundi and burgers. Great value and lovely staff.

What a great little pub. They've been making some effort to improve it, you can tell. It had a nice family friendly pubby vibe. Great outdoor area, pool tables, kids play area. And a pokies room.
The burgers were spot on. Nothing too fancy just a damn good feed.
We will be back! It might out new local... better than anything we've been to in Kurri!!

We stopped in one rainy night and enjoyed a lovely dinner of silverside and mash n vegs and watching the darts night they were hosting. They had great food and friendly staff in a cozey environment in an iconic pub of the area.

Went here for a $5 snity meal, pub was pretty packed, but managed to get a table outside. They light the heater for us.the meal was perfect, the service was the same and didn't have to wait long for the meal, about 10 - 15 mins. Highly recommend, but book for Tuesday's snitchel night to know you will get a table.

Serviceable... we stayed overnight and whilst the facilities were fine, the late night music was more intense than expected. Blaringly loud from midnight until after 3am... Although one should expect some noise... it seemed excessive. Perhaps some form of rudimentary soundproofing could be considered

Our new local! Very cheap menu but the food is delicious! Staff were very friendly, play ground is great as it’s enclosed and we were able to happily eat well little man played.

Ordered the chicken snitty salad and chips with a garlic prawn topper worth every cent will be coming back again, couple of beers later all was good

Older man (think he had a pony tail) working behind the bar is extremely rude. We were called “c*nts that don’t even drink here” because we weren’t locals. When we asked him what time the pub closes he said “whenever I want” so because he couldn’t give us a straight answer we asked if he’d call last drinks to let us know when we can get our last one and he said “if I feel like it”. The locals there were also extremely rude calling everyone c*nts and the bartender didn’t do anything until these same people started a punch up. Honestly never met ruder people in my life and will happily never go back to this pub.

Just moved to Weston and our first dinner was here. Absolutely spectacular food and a really nice vibe inside the bistro at night with the styling and fireplace running.

I was unable to finish my meal, of beer battered whiting fillets and chips, as there was a bone in the fish that made me wary of eating any more. I reported this to the waitress when she collected my plate. Her response was "Oh." When she was again at our table I asked her whether she had told the kitchen about my meal. Her response, this time, was more lengthy. To paraphrase, the fish is purchased, frozen, and if I had a problem with it I would have to take it up with the supplier. There was no apology, nor suggestion of refund or compensation. Yes, I could have asked to speak to the manager, but from what I had observed little would have changed in the attitude or response. Poor. Very Poor. 0/10 for quality, but it seems the minimum allowed is one star, and a negative, if I could show one, for customer service.

Hi, the Criterion Hotel's staff are very friendly responsive and hard working. Food is very good with some daily specials. I currently rent a room there and it is warm friendly and clean. The bar area has quick and friendly service ....

Had an Absolutely awesome lunch here 2day.We had the $10 Tradie lunch of chicken snitzel with chips n gravy n omg it was a generous portion n the best cooked snitty I've had for a long time. Compliments 2 the young lady chef n we'll definitely be going back again to try more of there yummy food 🤗😁 definitely worth the trip there . They also do a smaller version of the snitty n chips for $5 every Tuesday night. Were looking 4ward to trying there Wednesday night Rump for $7 . Wow you cant beat that lol 🤗

Great food, staff a very friendly and accommodating. Great outdoor area with pool tables and a playground from the kids. Highly recommend!

Food was good, big servings and cooked well, very well priced too. I like that the kid play area is fenced, although a bit basic and one of the swings is broken.
Beer garden was quite nice, aside from the people smoking in the middle section while we ate.
Not a bad pub for a casual dinner.

Best $15 Steak, Chips & Salad Thursday Week Night Deal. Was absolutely cooked to perfection med rare, great portion size . Could not fault at all. Definitely will return every Thursday night! You gotta check this place out for there week day and night meals 😋

Always unbeatable value. Printing system wasnt working tonight so we waited a while for our meals but the lovely female staff member provided a complimentary garlic bread which was well received by the kids. We'll be back for $10 meals

A classic piece of Australiana. I love these country pubs with a friendly locals, cold beer and cheap food. This venue is a great supporter of live music in the HUNTER Valley. Always putting on band competitions or multiple acts across the weekend. If you get a chance: to this venue!

Absolutely love this pub. The staff and the people in general have all been great. Will be back there tonight till it closes again. Shout out for being the only put around thats open that late
