Well priced and located motel with pub attached, room was basic but clean, excellent towels and soap....free parking in basement.

stayed here for a few nights. close to all the action, 10-15 minute walk to surfers paradise center. room was big enough and clean. bed was comfortable and bathroom/shower clean. room has minifridge, tv and aircon. 5 min walk to the beach. surprisingly it was quiet couldn't hear any car or any noise from the pub. would definetely recommend to stay here again.

Staff were friendly, Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great as close to Beaches , Cavill Ave , shopping and Casino

So good. Went here for dinner and it was all excellent. The food was amazing and had a great atmosphere, will definitely be back!

Sensational food. Best pork roast I’ve had in a while. The chef must take a lot of pride in the preparation. The pork was delicious, the broccolini was cooked perfectly, the pumpkin was sweet and the crackling was perfect. The server was friendly and very attentive. I can’t wait to go back.

Room was musty. Had to leave the door and windows open to air it out!
Black bedspread and pillow cases didn't hp the look. Would like something more cheerful.

Popped in for dinner on Thursday which had a special of 200g rump steak, chips and coleslaw for $23. Absolutely beautiful food would highly recommend.

Perfect location, 5 mins walk to beach. Stayed 3 nights had dinner every night food was very good. Only one complaint beef stew tasted good. But not much beef. Everything else was good. Nice staff.

One of the best pints of Guinness in Australia served here!! I drop in here every time I'm on the Gold coast and I'm always met with a smile and great service. Spent my whole day here having lunch and a few relaxing pints of the black stuff, Warren the barman is a legend.

On a wet rainy day, we were looking for a yummy hot roast.
I did some googling and found this little hidden gem.
The place was quite full on Sunday afternoon.
We asked about what was the roast of the day and it was roast pork & veg but told
there were 16 left and usually sell out. The lovely young staff member said he would come and tell us when they were almost sold so we wouldn't miss out as we were going to just sit for a little bit and enjoy a drink.
To his word, he came back and said better order now, and we are definitely glad we did.
Absolutely delicious roast,
The pork was very tender and juicy, not dry, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection, not overcooked and soft. There was also a bread dumpling with it that was delicious. My only thing would be that I would have loved a little more crackling and apple sauce.

Oh my golly goodness. Staying in QLD and craving a good feed? Trust the Irish. Immaculate Guinness pour and a scrumdiddlyumtious chicken burga, the D'arcy arms has you covered with great service from Rafael and the crew. Well well well, what an experience. Bloody fast service and a delectable meal.

Made motel aware of several issues. Won't reccommed. Air Con very noisy. Towels weren't replaced during our stay. Staff were nice. Room very tired. Need some TLC.

Look I don't want to be a wet blanket, and I rarely if ever complain about food, but sometimes you need to wake up the management a bit. I was really looking foreward to my first meal at Darcy Arms with my 8 year old son, but left with both of us quite exasperated. I paid 42 for the medium sirloin and was expecting a quality cut to reflect the price, but it was literally the worst steak of my life. Reams of unchewable fat, tasted like it was saturated in lighter fluid, the mushroom sauce less than ordinary with one lonely mushroom. My son couldn't eat his kids menu burger which he said tasted worse than maccas. The only good thing I could say is the garlic bread and chips were nice as was the Guinness. But maybe my son and I just got unlucky as so many people seem to love the place. If it weren't for a decent fiddle player it would have been a completely wasted afternoon. I may give it another chance because the drinks and ambience were so authentic Irish but my first visit fell way short of my expectations.

Indulged in a scrumptious Guiness pot pie, truely an authentic Irish dish served with delicious mushy peas, would have to be one of the better pubs in the area.

I live in the area .
We decided to have a pub lunch.
Bloody beautiful, perfect service table and bar. We had the steaks and chicken. Cooked to our requests.

Live in Brisbane, but would definitely make the trip down for it!!

Great little Irish pub. Kilkenny beer is perfect and a nice place to chill. Away from the centre of Surfers so a relaxed feel.

Good motel but very disappointed by our experience ! We arrived at the motel at the 23th of January and the reception was closed and there were an emergency phone number for the motel but no one had answer the phone and I have called 10-15 times ! We had no informations to get our room key or anything we had to wait 1 hour and a man came from nowhere and just open a key box for us. We didn’t receive any emails to tell us how to do and I have never been called back so this is just unbelievable.

Generous and flavoursome Sunday roast and fair drink prices! Dessert also delicious. Service amazing from friendly staff and relaxed authentic setting in long-standing iconic venue 👍

For the price,it was good there wasn't a security deposit/bond theu just took card detàils "in case", but no microwave & the shower pressure wasn't good!! Wifi access didn't happen in the room * It said on the sheet "it isn't strong & to pick up come into the restaurant downstairs"* the food there wasn't good as there was lack of options for non meat eaters & what there was I had & it wasn't nice either

A mixed bag, with hidden gems!
Room, basic but clean, comfortable bed.
Friendly Staff. Off Street Parking.

Plus one of the best Guinness I’ve ever had!
