What a great space... staff are just awesome nothings to difficult. Lots function rooms foods amazing and the bowling club is fantastic BBQ bar and office function rooms great setup. I am impressed. Called Bingo today enjoyed the members. I met amazing people today. Thank you for the experience

We had carvery lunch here today and to get 3 courses for $21.95 is a phenomenal value! The portions were generous for each course and the club really needs to be commended on their fantastic staff. Everyone we encountered were friendly and although busy were very efficient and easy to approach.

We had a last minute booking for 18 people due to the poor weather ruining our Easter catch up outdoors (includes 10 kids).
The staff were amazing, so kind and attentive! We were accidentally brought one incorrect kids meal during a busy time & I told the waitress it was okay my son can still have it, but the manager quickly rushed over and they both insisted on bringing us exactly what we ordered & apologised for their mistake.
Even under the pressure - they were so kind & helpful, not rude like other places can be during their busy/stressful periods.
There was a fantastic kids area which was clean and entertaining for our kids aged 1-15yo and it was within sight from our table (which is a huge bonus as a parent when you miss eating a hot meal at times).
Bathrooms were clean, tables were clean, outdoor areas spotless & spacious, everyone left with a very full belly and a smile on their face! Kids meals also come with a free icecream which is awesome, especially considering how well priced their menu already is.
Would definitely recommend this venue for a catch up with loved ones or a function.

We had a big table, they brought out most of our meals but not all. We still had a pasta and a burger. There was a burger under the warmers and when we went to ask if that was for our table, no one knew or bothered to check. The burger sat there for 15 minutes because they had obviously missed cooking the pasta meal.
The burger disappeared from under the lights and they brought the pasta. We asked about the burger and they said it was getting "refreshed" about 2 minutes later the burger reappeared under the lights, looked exactly the same and sat there for another 5 minutes. They finally brought out the burger and most if us had finished our meals. They only heated the patty but the rest was cold. They could've at least replaced the chips also.
My own meal was the Greek salad with the side of barramundi. It was a bowl of salad with a piece of dry barramundi on top. No lemon
wedge. It was awkward to eat and it was dry.
We also watched the queue of people get bigger and the line to take orders was extremely slow. People were standing in line for at least 20 minutes waiting to put through a food order. My kids wanted to order more but there was no way we were going to stand in a queue that long.

We come to Deer Park on a weekly basis and the service provided by Hayley and Poppy is amazing. They are very thoughtful and with a smile every time. Very happy with them and makes me enjoy my time there.

Wasn't very busy on a Monday night. Nice dining room. The parmas were on special. Very tasty but servings are huge.

It was steak night tonight(Tuesday) but you had to be a member and download the app to have the special. Our staff member was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help us out. A couple of us had a senior's meal which was just the right amount of food. The cheesy garlic bread was excellent and the sticky date pudding was a generous portion. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Use to have an amazing Parma night with great deals until they decided to renovate now there is no deal and you have to pay extra for salad do not go here it is just a rip off not worth it.
Looks like they are trying to make us pay for the renovations.

Training and organisation of your bistro needs a lot of work.
I asked for a garden salad $6 and she said she couldn’t find the button for it and that a Greek salad is the same thing which it isn’t… she charged me $22 for a Greek salad which went to waste because I’m allergic to olives. I went back to tell her as soon as I realised but the line to order was so long that by the time the food came out I still hadn’t gotten to her and was told that now that the food is out there’s nothing they can do. So I wasted $22 on a salad I couldn’t eat because your staff member got it wrong.
Then, the cheesy garlic bread was cold and the cheese rock hard.
Jugs are expensive
The chicken wings were extremely over the top salty.
Then out of the 5 of us, 3 got our meals and the other 2 still hadn’t gotten their meals by the time the other 3 finished theirs.
Oysters kilpatric is supposed to me made with Worcestershire sauce not BBQ sauce.
The fish and chips was dry
On the good side, the steak was cooked perfectly medium well (the sauce might as well have been water, no taste or consistency) and the deserts were fantastic but I won’t be returning just for those.

They just closed the kitchen for 2 weeks due to renovations. Whats with the half meals and the price increase? Parmas are like kids meals now and now u have to pay an extra $3 for a side salad!

The space is family friendly in bistro however the food is terrible.
Chips were overdone on all meals
Kids cheeseburgers were just thrown on the plate.
Young gentleman did have great service!

The last few times we have been here the service has been awesome and they have always been happy to cater for my daughter who is anaphylactic to all nuts. I’m not sure if the chef has changed or something on the menu changed but last night it was a blundering mess trying to figure out what was safe for her to eat. My poor 8 year old daughter had to sit around watching her cousins all eat their food while she waited for her grilled chicken and “mashed potato” slop to be served. It’s been a very long time since we have encountered a restaurant that couldn’t even serve her a plate of speghetti because of cross contamination. Needless to say I had to stop at Maccas on the way home. Yes I’m thankful they managed to serve her something but honestly when there are so many food allergies this place needs to take a long hard look at their practices and procedures and figure out a better way of serving ALL their customers. We will NOT be back ever again. We will stick to go to West side hotel in Laverton where they have always been more then accommodating to feed my daughter something delicious that is also safe!!

The grilled barramundi meal is awesome and roast of the day is fantastic and good portion sizes. Very friendly atmosphere and staff are very helpful. Parking front and back of venue. Best to book if you can as it is a very popular place and kid friendly.

Some food was burnt, other food was cold.
Food was bought out first to people who ordered a lot after others that had ordered before them. Customer service needs to be improved when tables are being cleared.

Second time at Deer park Club..
Five on the table, we ordered together, one meal was served… 15 min later,two more meals.,, finally after another 20min final 2 meals served.
The open souvlaki was an embarrassment 4 pieces of lamb…
Parmigiana with no salad.
Garlic prawns with 5 tiny prawns….
Never again.

One of the best in the West! Amazing facilities for the whole family. Bistro is huge and meals are delicious! Play area for kids is next level, fitted with cameras through the climbing structure and up into the gaming/chill out zone upstairs (so you can keep an eye on your cherubs playing while sitting at the tables for you meal).
Food menu is extensive and great quality. We eaten her le a few times and never been disappointed.
For the big kids, there are so many areas... sports bar area with a multitude of screens, a great outdoor grassed area with a playground as well as a huge screen to watch the footy, Gaming areas are also on offer if pokies are your thing, but with so many choices to keep you entertained, hydrated and nourished, the choices are endless. We'll done to the team at Deer Park Club for consistently impressing its members and guest each time!!

Nice food quick friendly service. Staff always smiling and happy to help in any way. New spring menu looks good with some new things on the specials board.
Can't go past the bruschetta though always a favourite of mine!

Modern spacious Club with plenty of parking front n back. Huge dining room offering generously priced seniors meals big portions full priced fare. Staff very efficient n super friendly. For a Club couldn't fault it on 1st visit.

Last Saturday night another great time at the Deer Park Club. Restaurant staff always go above and beyond to help with any need. We all enjoyed our meal and will be definitely back.

Just had a meal here firstly if you’re going to charge restaurant prices at least make an effort with the quality of food because it was atrocious ! Chicken Parma was burnt looked like the topping had fallen off and they just threw it all back on disgusting the Mexican chicken chido was a chicken breast with skin in it boiled and skin burnt so no flavour at all served with sauce from a jar some avo and a pile of corn chips !

I went with my family plenty of times here and their steaks was delicious! Not only was the food amazing but there was one staff that really stood out for me which is “Hayley” from the bistro/restaurant. Hayley was the only staff that I had seen that was doing her job with so much detail and love ❤️, she was wiping tables so thoroughly and was so attentive with everything that she was doing. I definitely commend her and hopefully management from the DPC see’s this coz she deserves to be recognised for the thorough and love of work she does.

I have always enjoyed this venue - even with the amount of times I have left down on cash, leaving just after losing in the pokies. LOL.
It is a large venue, and I personally see a huge potential for both profit, as well events and business.
I only gave the review 4⭐'s because of the hit and miss with the food.
The TAB area is spacious, and surrounded with large screen TV's to ensure a variety of sports and events which can be seen and viewed by everyone in the area.
With regards to the Pokies area, you will find the floor covers quite a large and substantial area, with plenty of variety, of pokie machines to choose from. There is easy access to outdoor and smoking areas and most surprisingly (and importantly) the bathrooms are well kept and serviced frequently. I am honestly impressed every time I walk in.
I am a very friendly person and generally get a mirrored level of service, so I like to think I don't get bad service very much. In saying that, enthusiasm and passion are harder to fake, and so another reason for the 4⭐'s, is the fake and lack of enthusiasm service I have received (only from a couple staff) in recent weeks.
I think it is important for the masses out there to know that I am being a little critical about the service. 7 out of 10 times, you will actually find the staff members do provide a very friendly service.
All in all, fantastic venue with great potential.🏆🏯

Had a few great meals. But the last one a few months ago, was terrible. Medium steak was over done, Small and chewy. The president of the Club was eating at the next table and complained as well. Haven't been back since.

Great meal but We were playing the pokies.A staff member took my husband's beer, that was not finished and when he went up to get it back the worker apologized but then as he walked away a
female staff member said you must be losing .How rude is that. I think you need to start looking at your staff members approach to the customers.Thank God you still have Jimmy working there.

Great atmosphere. Family friendly. Great customer service. Food was OK. The only let down was the vegies served on all our plates were almost cold, barely warm. Real let down. Shame.

Fantastic place, the food was excellent & you also have pokies & you can join to get cheaper beer or wine i would recommend it to anyone we will definitely be going back.

After a couple of months away we went back to the Deer Park Club for what use to be our Wednesday Parma night only to find things had changed for the worst in regards to the menu prices. No longer could you get all the different types of Parmas for the special deal but now only the Classic $16.00 was on offer with chips and then you had to pay an extra $3 for a small bowl of salad which was included in the previous menu offer. All other popular Parmas were now $23.00 plus $3.00 for salad.Needless to say Parma night will no longer be at the Deer Park Club but somewhere else , hopefully.
