Would like to congratulate the Devonport RSL, we had our daughters and son in-laws, wedding reception there Saturday night, it really is a fantastic venue, and looked amazing all decorated, the staff where wonderful in every way, and the meals where excellent, as there was 130 people , so if your looking for a venue , I would certainly recommend the Devonport RSL !

Went for a work related dinner, so the menu was a set menu. The food was very good , staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. As with most RSL clubs I have been to, Devonport RSL is one I have no hesitation in saying I will be back.

We had my husbands 80th birthday on Saturday night every guest including us spoke very highly of the meals 😋 to top that up the Staff so very helpful 10/10 Girls keep it up will definitely go for more meals for sure

Very very disappointed, understand that it was$60 a head, but when your told you can only have this or that, well! Would of got a awesome plate of sea food 'Prems' for that price.

Super friendly RSL, great beer and bistro food. Very good value meal. Good stop before the Spirit of Tasmania trip.

Open space plenty of parking friendly & serve good wholesome food. This was 1 time but my last time there I went to the main bar & had to wait what seemed a long time to get served. I noticed I was there 1st but I guess they were regulars they were served first. I wasn't served till a regular saw how agitated I'd become & mentioned 2 the staff they should serve me which I thanked him for.

Never had lunch at the RSL before, what a lovely surprise to have a well presented, tasty, wholesome meal. The cook came around to the customers, getting feedback. Very pleasant.

Needs some TLC. Also needs ways to advertise better and get more people I'm in the door because it is a great spot with heaps of potential. Meals were fine but options were minimal based on low numbers of patrons.

I walked into the rsl on a saturday afternoon, was not to many people in there. I had a few drinks, i had a game of pool. (Good tables)
I sat around and thought ill try the food. I was at the bar talking about steak with the chef. I had a joke saying how expensive it was. I asked for eye fillet he said no one would buy it. So i asked him what he Recommended? He said the grilled rib eye, i said i normally like my eye fillet blue. He said ok have your rib eye rare. It was cooked to perfection, i can not fault it worth the money. I also had half a garlic bread it was the best ever. It was super fresh ,the roll was soft it litrly melted in your mouth, i told the chef i like it garlicy, highly reccoment this restaurant and rsl. The Locals are nice thats for sure :-)
Wish i sat around to speak to more of them. Next time for sure ill talk yo more of them. The staff are all welcoming and friendly

I love the way it's quiet, in the daytime, lovely air-conditioning on a hot, or cold day, if you want to smoke, there's a nice place out the back with shade and wind shelter, a gas heater for winter. With your membership, you get 2 free drinks, with renewal and a free drink on your birthday, that's nearly all of the$25 membership fee. Comfortable seats.

had steak with mushroom sauce. steak was burnt i wanted medium, 1 slither of mushroom was only thing telling me what the gravy was. in a group of about 40 my 80 yo aunt got her dinner 30 mins after everyone else after asking twice and one person didnt get his so got a refund. very poor im sorry to say.

Had bistro meal here before getting on Spirt of Tasmania. Highly recommend it. Great value large meal, friendly service.

Great spot to catch up with friends for a refreshment or two. The meals are good too and there are always raffles and opportunities to win prizes. The museum is well worth a visit too.

Great place to relax with a fine aussie meal and drinks before the boat ride back to the mainland. Dinner was excellent and staff were superb. Old fashioned hospitality at its best!

Great place to have a meal somewhere to socialise pokies and you can hire the venue for functions ect.ample parking although its on quite a hill. But has wheelchair acess. Friendly service

Fantastic views....in house museum...pokies....TAB....great menu...Covid compliant... friendly staff...

Excellent staff. Very big facility. Need some energy...fresh ideas. Parking Shi'ite. Had to pay. Great chicken burger...nice bread. Generous portion of chips. Some LED lights and modern furniture..overall v pleasant

Excellent food. I had a beef roast and Helen had Flat Head Fillets, salad and chips. And the Boags Draught was good, clean and crisp. They must clean their lines and taps properly 😎

Came in for lunch......ended up ordering a toasty from the bar when i saw the prices for the bistro.... $9 for entree of 3 MINI spring rolls, $24 for a snitty..... place was empty..... need to come up with better lunchtime menu and lunchtime prices. Smaller portions for lunch with a smaller price to suit.

Absolutely fantastic nite at club. 25 very satisfied people at my daughter's 40th. Meals were exceptional. Bar staff were amazing . Huge thank you to Vicki & staff . Brendan, Leah & Wendy & bar staff
