Went for a couple of quiet beers after driving up from Victoria and was asked to leave, apparently I yawned and was too tired to be there. Management did make contact and apologised the day after, when I complained. They reviewed the CCTV and said further training would be offered to the staff member in question which I felt was exactly what was required. I’m a 53 year old truck driver who had never previously been asked to leave any venue. I have since been back with family who lives close by and enjoyed a few drinks with ok service so I’m hopeful this was a one off issue with a new staff member who has undergone further training on her responsible service of alcohol. They have poker machines and a good pool table with plenty of space and a sports / tab area for punters.

Unexpected delight!!! We come here often and the atmosphere is great! Best steak, and just tried their rich, decadent brownie for dessert and nowhere compares. Such affordable meals, and the quality is way better than you'd expect!

Took The family out for dinner tonight food was awesome good portion size Great price and the ladies behind the bar were absolutely awesome highly recommended

The staff were so helpful for the birthday celebrations. The platters of food were great. The meals were large and the wedges were crispy on the outside, white, soft & fluffy on the inside served piping hot. Every enjoyed the cocktails. There was a karaoke set up which was a lot of fun.

The staff were lovely & helpful. Any questions we had, they were straight over to answer.
We were told there were pies on special & they were a good size for a meal, but maybe they were confusing them for the "pie of the day". These were simply someone's grocery store frozen pies they were trying to get rid. The crust was now solid as a brick. But the chips were perfect! Ha🤭!
The section was screened off from the sporting/betting section which helped make it a little more private but it was at a main entrance & right in front of a bar. There are only a few tables cramped in All😯 this tiny space🫥 but it made it cozy I guess! There was also outside (I think for smokers - though it kept wafting in).
We stayed for karaoke. The whole night was well controlled by 3 huge security guards that were very calm in their conduct! Even with 3 broken glasses, the staff were straight on to clean up!
The whole night went really well because this team worked so well together. I was incredibly impressed by what could've been a typical, disastrous night at the pub. Thank you everyone at the Diamond Tavern! 👍😁
Update:
Went back the next week & tried the Salt & Pepper Calamari with salad & the Wagyu Burger with Chips. The meals this time Were Huge & far too filling that neither of us could finish! They do have take away containers but we mostly had chips leftover & I had 2 pieces of calamari! I can't believe they served so much calamari that I couldn't even finish it! Very impressed!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE FOOD IS AMAZING! I can't go past the chicken parmy. Top notch service, friendly staff and just an all round good place for dinner and drinks

The carbonara was massive and had great flavor. The chicken burger was so crunchy and tasted awesome. Daughter had spag bol and it had real flavor and real parma cheese, she loved it. We will be back.

Sadly for the first time since I have eaten at Diamonds Tavern it was not what I expected . The chip were like the bottom of a packet not very good & the fish just cooked , mind you the salad was ok . Come on guys it is Fish & Chips . Poor effort soz but that is my opinion . Out of 10 -- 4 an a half .

Ordered through Uber Eats and the food we received was horrible. Salt and Pepper calamari had no flavour and was rubbery. Chicken Shnitzel was dry on one end and pink in middle. Really disappointed this was way way to expensive for what we got

Ordered on Uber eats, arrived within 40 minutes, food was fresh, highly recommend the carbonara & potato skins with cheese bacon ect! 10/10 would order from here again 😍

One table before us on A Tuesday night. We waited 40 minutes for a plain chicken schnitzel and chips.
No one else was in the restaurant. I was at the bar waiting to ask for a refund as it was coming out.
Thickshake was nice and arrived within 5 minutes.
All I can hear is other customers complaining about wait times.
Then they forgot the gravy. Its just chips and a schnitzel yet it takes so long and you can't even get it right.
Pathetic and won't be back again.
Dont come on A Tuesday as its some guy speaking through the restaurant speakers asking quiz questions but also trying to be funny.

Nice big pub! Long bar, good pub food and friendly service. Tuesdays there is trivia and Saturdays karaoke. Jag the Joker on Friday evenings. Nice seating area outside. Good behaved dogs welcome outside. Live music! And a pool table.

My Wife and I came here for Valentines Day. The food was amazing. Food portion was perfect and nicely presented. (Well done Chef) Amanda and the team provided fantastic service. So kind, polite and efficient. They all made us feel so welcome. And the Waffles and ice cream was the Yummiest OMG. We are 'Definitely' coming back again.

I ordered the 200g steak "medium" and got a "well done" instead. When they came to collect my full plate, I told him that I ordered "medium", not over cooked. So he apologized and took the plates away. No refund, no redo, no nothing. So I won't be going back to pay for another meal that I don't get to eat. The cheesy garlic bread was nice though.

Highly recommend this place. Beautiful food in very good and big portions will 100% fill you up. Chef cooked amazing food and delicious desserts. Staff very friendly and easy going towards customers especially the manger there tonight, Judith. Music is very good to listen to and eat your dinner and play pool with family and the atmosphere in there is an absolute vibe. anyone new to this area I highly suggest this tavern.

Great staff, the girls are great friendly and helpful! Bit disappointed this morning a new girl I haven't seen before working refused me a non alcoholic drink namely a coke after 2am since the bar was closed and directed to a room temputure jug of water in the middle of the gaming floor that didn't taste very fresh. Overall great pub but need that special touch to patrons as Kallangur tavern staff have got.

Great pub. Roast lamb and veg was exceptional. Karaoke on Saturday night is cool and so is a lazy game of pool on a Sunday arvo.

They changed the menu what didnt add too much good option for adults or to kids.
look for board deals, the deals are exacly the same every time, would be good to change taht too

Fantastic staff and the chef needs a pay rise. Cared enough to come out and ask a question about the order before cooking. And came back to check after we finished WOW

Actually perfect pasta. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best cooked pasta I've had in my life. And the other 2 I was with could not stop raving about how tender and perfectly cooked their steaks were. And they were the cheapest out of the three pubs we checked out. Cannot rave enough.
