Went there for the first time on Friday with a friend, n it wasn't my cup of tea as it is mainly for people who like getting pissed. Very loud music

Went for dinner for my step daughters birthday. Ordered all our meals and only got half of them as the bistro gave our meals to someone else. Had to wait for another half hour after we complained to get the rest of our dinner.

Really awesome pub feed at the bistro. Great specials through the week and both the bar and bistro service is great. Our toddler loves their chippies and it’s got a great atmosphere to sit and have a meal. All types of people from all walks of life frequent there and it makes the place special. Give it a try through the week for a nice pub feed

Passing through and very glad we stopped here. Great service, great food. Had the Parmi and Guinness pie. Big servings, tasty and fresh. Thanks to George and Noel for having a chat and offering us some advice for our camping trip! We’ll be back.

One of Wollongong's oldest pubs complete with sticky floorboards just so you know it's a real pub. Staff are genuinely lovely and the food is good traditional pub fare. Doubt it could be called a gourmet experience, but if you want a good honest pub meal, this is a good place for it and it's well priced. Great selection of beers and wines and an owner who knows his customers. Conveniently located within a few hundred metres of Wollongong railway station, pick your time to travel as this isn't the trendiest side of Wollongong, but it is lit well enough with ample street parking close by.

Meals were tasty, and steak was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was a cold day outside, so the fireplace was welcoming on arrival. Bistro is available all day, and place has just been refurbished. Recommended

Irish curry Schnitzel is an elite option for every pub menu. The bistro operator is a humble bloke doing great food and I went mid arvo so in sure it can get rowdy at times but the venue was very family friendly while I was there

I just come here to put on a bet, and then I leave straight away. The drinks at Dicey are way overpriced for my liking.

I got assaulted by a woman out the front of Dicey Riley’s. Bouncers had no sympathy and threatened to cut my throat. Unsure if this is part of Dicey Riley’s policy. The bald security guards may need retraining.

I don't know why they open before 10pm when people might not notice the filthy floors, filthy walls, rubbish piled everywhere, and maybe there'll be some Irish women to liven things up. Worst thing though is prices advertised on the beer taps that are completely wrong.

Have eaten in the Bistro last four weeks on Monday and Thursday since we moved into the area. Monday special Chicken Schnitzel and a Schooner. Very consistent quality and tasty for $14. Thursday is Surf and Turf for $15. Steak cooked to my liking with a hard char and three prawns on top. Very, very tasty with chips and salad. Bar staff are very friendly and prices are very affordable. Give it a go.

Great Irish pub that does great deals for most days and has a good selection of drinks. Whenever my friends come up to catch-up with me in between my breaks in Uni we always come here and have a Guinness each. Our favourite spot to sit is the outside area to talk and catch-up before going inside to listen to whatever band is playing. Would highly recommend going here for any day of the week.

Great Irish pub in the middle.of Wollongong. Different from most other places. I like that it's dark and interesting. The live music is LOUD and they have some great local bands.

Good old-fashioned pub at the slightly less salubrious end of the Gong. If you don't mind your feet sticking to the floor and want a good place for a reasonably priced drink and an honest pub meal, check it out. Staff are very friendly and they quite often have great music gigs. Worth checking it out.

Good food, good vibes but really rude bar man... he made me feel unwelcome after I commented that the live band was really bad... but it was so bad I wanted to leave but shortly after that the band stopped so I must not have been the only one not into their out of tune music...

Came across this place while passing by and decided to stop for dinner. They mustve had a live band concert by the bar so vibes were lively. Bar staff friendly. Bistro staff were also friendly, food was better than expected as we didnt really know what we were in for, the meat on the lamb shank was cooked very well and came right off and the prawn pasta was so good for the price with a generous serving size as well. Would like to come by for the schnitzel others are talking about next time I pass by the area.
