Went recently and no one was around to direct us to a table. Found one ourselves and I asked for menus, only to be told we can’t sit there, it’s reserved, even though there was no reserved sign on it like the other ones nearby. The girl said she had run out of reserved signs and we would have to move. We were directed to another table and I asked for cutlery as we were missing a set. She said yes and never came back.
The food was lovely, we all enjoyed it. Shame about the service.

Went out for dinner on a Saturday night was greeted by friendly staff and sat in a booth near the bar. There's TVs in the restaurant which is great because the footy was on! Food was excellent, especially the eye fillet steak. Ribs were juicy and BBQ sauce made it 🤤. Pokies and sports bar section for after dinner treats. Great atmosphere and lovely staff!

We love the Dog and Parrot all the staff and managers are awesome so welcoming and friendly.
Cathy looked after us tonight and she’s lovely.
This is our weekly sometimes twice weekly Snitty venue.They are very good as is all the food and great value.

This a really good tavern in robina, where you can go to hangout with your friends and family. It had a really good menu with sheff's special item. I would recommend ordering those. Food is really tasty and fresh. It also has a seperate sports bar section where you can play pool, order beer to chill with you friends, watch games. Pleanty of parking space available.
Prices are decent and quite affordable if you are going in a group. We had a great time over here and enjoyed the food.

The Service was next level food was fabulous. Staff was kind and helpful with all of our questions. Have to give a massive shout out to Riley and David they made my experience so memorable

The beef pie was awesome. The mushy pea were smashed frozen I think mint Peas which was diferente, could have been a little more mash. Really enjoyed the meal.
The first beer in sports Bar well tapped could have been a little colder, next beer in the restaurant not as good. 3rd beer better than second although not as good as first. I had a peroni on tap.
Not sure if the restaurant beer glasses used for soft drinks instead of only beer. It does make a difference.
Over all experience good I would definitely go back.

Steak was cooked perfectly, Dianne sauce was amazing, mashed potato taste nice but portion size was not great. Presentation could have been a little better otherwise was a nice meal.

Saw the renovation going on and it was all finished. Thought we would pop in for a meal post reno.
Inside it's been freshened up a bit, outside has more area and tables for patrons.
Meals were average with regard to what we ordered.
Chicken schnitzel was just the chicken, coleslaw and chips which presentation wise and taste was plain.
The kids meals were a mix, the cheeseburger was big and was enjoyed, youngest did not like the nuggets said they tasted odd. Chips for both kids meals were stone cold.
Vegetarian Pasta was ok but lacked depth with the pasta to veg ratio not quite there.
Staff were all great and friendly, happy to help and cleared tables etc quick.
Overall comparing to other venues of similar patron audience, the bar has been set by the Coomera Tavern with impeccable service, great menu, punching above its weight in presentation and finally perfectly cooked food.
We fould the flavors, texture and general profile of the meals in need of some small touches that would make a massive difference.

Salt and pepper squid was nice and crispy also very tender.
The beef roll was nice just the meat was tough and in large pieces, that made it hard to eat. But over all was delicious.
The gravy was very bland and watery.
Sports bar area is beautiful. Staff are lovely.

Ribs are microwaved from a packet and putrid. The steaks are good so do yourself a favour and never order the Ribs.

Really great renovation. Clean, modern and very roomie.
You can bring the family here with live music as well.
We certainly for dinner and then played pool for a couple of hours.
I recommend it for good service, decent food and cold beer.

Just your run-of-the-mill ALH-owned pub but it's clean, spacious, and the staff are friendly. There's a decent sized sports bar, gaming lounge, and outdoor dining areas, as well as kids' play area.

I visit occasionally from the Sunshine Coast.
Kathy a manager who has been on a few times when we have been there is always so polite and friendly and provides fantastic service. Food is always good too.

I ordered a steak dish and I was eating halfway of it until I saw a moving insect in my plate. Took it to the staff and politely show her. She was rude, did not apologise at all. She said “unfortunately, it does come with fresh salad sometime”.

I must highlight the excellent service of the staff, they made sure we had a good evening. The Margherita pizza and the calamari were excellent in temperature and taste. Thank you very much Angeles for your attention, we enjoyed our evening very much.

I do not understand why it is hard to get good pub food with great service. Everything here was average. I will find somewhere I know I will.
Food was late, went cold quickly and wasn't tasty at all.

I celebrated my daughter's first birthday at the Dog and Parrot Tavern in Robina, and it was a fantastic experience! We chose to sit on the outside bistro patio, conveniently located right next to the playroom and playground, which kept the little ones entertained. The food selection was impressive with a variety of tasty options that satisfied everyone's palate.
What made the event even more enjoyable was the exceptional service provided by Olivia, the manager. She made the entire planning process effortless and ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day. Her attention to detail and professionalism truly made a difference.
Overall, our experience at the Dog and Parrot Tavern was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly venue with great food and excellent service. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to visit again!

Hubby and I went there Saturday 3rd September for lunch. We were so disappointed that I wrote to them via their website when we got home. It was so busy there, I didn't think anyone would really listen.... Haven't heard a word from them.
You can see from the photo that the ribs weren't even the size of the blade on the knife.
This is what I wrote,
"Afternoon,
My husband and I were just there for lunch and we were bitterly disappointed with his meal. We sat at table 26 and he ordered the 1/2 ribs and I ordered the shank. My shank was lovely, but the ribs were so small and skinny, with not much meat, and only 4 ribs for $30.00. Totally not worth it.
This is the third chance we have given you. As locals, we want to support our local pubs and restaurants. The first time I had 11 family members there for a get together and I ordered the Bangers and Mash, only to be the last meal out and it looked like it had been thrown on the plate. No mashed potatoes only a few chips and barely any gravy. I sent it back saying I ordered bangers and mash. It took ages for the young waiter to come back only to tell me that there was no mash, but, would I like a potato!!!!! Oh dear, so I got a potato and mashed it myself. My sister-in-law ordered the shank and again no mash. Then I came with a party of 6 for a girlie get together and one of my friends ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, only to have the crumb almost burnt and the chicken partly raw. This has been all in the last few weeks.
I took a photo of my husbands meal today after he finished and seriously it wasn't even worth $15. I don't like to complain but you will lose other clients if you don't lift your game. I am hesitant to come back or recommend your establishment again.

Have been a customer of Dog and Parrot for over 20 years. Three orders of chefs special - Bug and Chorizo Risotto was served on a bed of fluffy rice, one - three small dried up pieces of bug and 1 piece of chorizo cut in half..... took meal to Manager who told me there's chorizo in the dish..... cut more chorizo and re-served. Very disappointed with food, service and rude response especially for a meal costing $43.00 with Anzac Day Public Holiday surcharge, disgraceful.

Great place my friend and I had Senior lunches and the meals for a seniors meal was huge! Easily could share. The food was delicious and service was excellent and atmosphere pleasant.

Good food and atmosphere, with a good range of beers. Only downer was that we had to move bars at 8pm when it closed the main bar.

Food was cold and terrible; saw our food sitting under the heat lamps for 10mins before someone brought it over even through there were 2 staff standing there the whole time. Our table was finished eating and had been fully cleared before our last pizza came out 30mins late. Staff brushed it off as “they weren’t ready for the place to be busy”. People who were seated and ordered after us got their food before the rest of our table got theirs.

Firstly the staff are amazing. Was seated by a staff member whom informed me of the chefs specials, handed menu's to our group and said if require any help , let us know.
We had a mix of shared plates and main meals.
The pork belly bites were to die for. The honey soy prawns were firm and very tasty.
Our favourite meal was the steak sandwich.
My parents loved the pensioner's meals, with an option for a half garlic bread is a great add on for small eaters to share.
This place is a hidden gem.

Came in for the first time tonight to have dinner with my Fiancée and it was amazing. I had the XL Steak and my partner had the seafood share board. The restaurant was busy for a Monday with a few large tables and my steak came out over cooked the first time, but the staff handled it quickly and efficiently and I received an excellent meal in a very timely manner. My partner said the seafood could not be faulted at all. The prawns were tender, the bug was delicate, the mussels were tasty and it even came with a handful of calamari, battered scallops, salad and a generous piece of salmon.
To top it off the staff were bright, bubbly and very accommodating and the venue was clean and welcoming. We will absolutely be back again and would highly recommend the Dog & Parrot Tavern to everyone!

Being my 60th bday today was quite special for me but I was let down when my friends lamb chops were inedible. The fat had not been rendered down. The surver asked if the meals were ok. I told her about the lamb but she was not that helpful. I wanted a refund, not the offer of a desert! All the other meals were nice. You have a lovely place. I am now back home in my country.

Always a great time at Dog and Parrot! Great menu and the food is always delicious.
The standout is the awesome service!! We love Jamie, she is always so bubbly and accomodating!! Thank you for taking such good care of us every visit, Jamie! You are an asset to the team and we keep coming back just to see your smiley face!
