With nothing planed for saturday 29th july i decided to spend the evening at my local Sports and community club .The night started with a very tasty meal and entertainment by Jamie and his son Daniell singing and Karioke by the many talented locals from the club local community of Donnybrooy Toorbul Meldale and also Bribie Island. A VERRY ENJOYABLE NIGHT

We had an absolute blast with some friends. Jan and Jamie had the karaoke machine pumping and the food was pretty good too.

Tried for 2 hours ringringing club with no response, ended up going down only to find two people playing poker machines and no one else in club except manager, explained to him had been trying to call to find out if courtesy bus could pick us up from Toorbul only to be told bus doesn't run unless it is karaoke night. Thought he was a bit rude and no other explanation, its a wonder club is still open at all, no wonder no one goes there, certainly won't be going out of our way to go again

This place gets better everytime we go and is really starting to pick up.
It's not like the other bowls clubs in more populated areas but it's surely picking up the quality everytime

They do takeaways so you can walk there from the boat ramp and get more beer

The volunteers that worked at the club on the day we were there were amazing. Lunch was delicious.

The definition of a local, with complementary pool table, decent healthy sized meals and always a friendly smile. A few pokies and generous floor plan that overlooks the bowling Green. Well worth a visit (or several)

Terrible loud bass music till midnight on holidays, noone can fall asleep thank to this place

Sorry but the food was horrible had a steak burger it came as a piece of tough steak on a bread roll, no sauce no salad no nothing just so bloody dry. My husband had the battered fish which obviously just came out of a box. Would not recommend the food but the club itself was really nice and welcoming

Quaint small village club with nice atmosphere, great club for a weekend visit. Bowls, bar, keno, raffles and pokies. Check their website for opening hours and meal times.

How good is this hidden gem….Great food, awesome music and ice cold drinks. Plus…. A Bonus.. courtesy bus. But honestly the food (ribs and pulled pork) was so good and the venue super clean. Seriously coming back tomorrow night

Had a great time...enjoyed the club..staff were lovely...only thing could have been better was if they served meals on a Thursday night.

Great spot just needs a few finishing touches since the flood. Yes it's clean and inviting, packaged beer and lovely people.

Food is so good. Special events are awesome!!! Staff are so friendly. Go there at least once a month with my family and friends!!! So good and so worth every penny ~ its also super cheap ~ but its restaurant quality. They also have raffles to win meat trays and seafood trays and brekkie trays etc. Such a great place in an unknown little town.

Bit price heavy for quality of meals. However the local peeps n drink prices make up for it. Great for a rare visit.

A really wholesome club. Small but devoted support network. The club is small and struggling and desperately needs new fresh life. Unfortunately the meals were a bit overpriced and 2nd rate - The club really needs to do this internally, rather than sub-letting the meals out. This club has great potential, its just on the precipice of falling over - without the support from the locals it needs. Please support your local.
