Worst roast beef meal experienced in many years… old potato’s that couldn’t be cut, funky cauliflower, a single green bean and left under heat lamps for 30 minutes until I asked for it… beef was great if you like air dried jerky

Went to try the Chinese food. Not the best I have had but a reasonable feed for the price. Recommended.

We have our monthly western area swimming meetings here
Great price - always clean
Nothing is a problem so accomodating.
We have 4 choices of rooms - Starlight rooms and Jacaranda room for our meetings.
Easy to book - Thankyou Sharon.
Staff so friendly and easy to deal with and always so kind and helpful when trying to connect the wifi 🙂 Thankyou Jot and Caleb.
And the hot chocolate made by Theresa perfect x

Waited for 70 min for food, got told to have to wait another 20 min with orders after us been delivered in advance. Left with no food after 90 min. Our order had been binned. Got a refund though which was the minimum they could manage.

Visiting Dubbo for two days we decided to have dinner at the RSL - what a terrible experience! After ordering and waiting an hour and a half for our meals we were told the beef roast had run out. We ended up with one meal we didn't want. This was unacceptable and very unprofessional. Certainly won't be recommending!!!

Visiting Dubbo for a couple of nights so we went and had dinner at the RSL.
The Guy who helped us sign in very friendly and helpful.
Quite a few people there for dinner.
We decided on the Chicken Schnitzel with a topper. Mine was Supreme and my partners was a Texan. The meal also came with chips and salad. $23
The meal was massive, neither of us finished our meals.
We played a few games of Keno. Nice spot and pretty reasonably priced.

Visited recently for a family dinner. Very modern club, the staff at reception were fantastic. Atmosphere was typical of a RSL club. Food was good but service was a little lacking. Some meals were forgotten and had to follow up twice to get them. Other than that, was a good visit.

The worst customer service I have ever received, all the staff were so rude, unhelpful and unhappy.
My medium to well steak was cooked blue and the fat on it was raw, the chips were cold, the beer battered fish was still raw in the centre and the spaghetti was cut? Not worth the hour an a half wait for our food that we had to entail.
Not to mention that the bathrooms were left in a very unsanitary state.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK
The most helpful person we came across was another customer who had also been waiting an hour for a chicken Parma

The club itself was very nice. But unfortunately the food wasn't. I am sure it was a one-off.

Poor service. Poor quality food. A waste of money.
After a 40 minute wait for food we went to the counter to ask why our food was taking so long. We were told our buzzer must be faulty. We saw our meals on the counter and we were offered them - they were lukewarm. We asked how long the food been sitting there for the answer we got was an offer to warm the meals up in the microwave. How bad is that! Eventually we were offered freshly cooked meals to find out they had no more roast beef left. So I agreed to the roast pork. Meals were disappointing when we finally got them - roast meat was dry, as was the burger. The roast dinner was a pathetic excuse of a roast - neither potatoes or carrots were roasted!
The entire situation was poorly managed by the bistro staff and ultimately it was a waste of money for us.
The one star rating is for the free kids ice cream and soft drink. I don’t recommend this place. We could see many tables around us were having issues with their meals too.

Mt first, last and now only meal was inedible and my partner's was not what was specifically ordered. Staff were not interested in our comments. The chips were ok

Lovely lunch in the Cafe, simple meals, and great cover, lovely freindly staff, made you feel very welcome

Large place, lots of seating available. It's an order at the servery type situation but they do serve the meal to your table, and it didn't take long to be served. Meal was very enjoyable.

It's been a few years since I was last here and it has changed a lot. The selection of beer is very limited especially if you like black beer or stout. Just one of each is available.
It was very crowded when we visited but the service was fast and efficient.
We ate upstairs at One7Eight and it was pretty good. I had the striploin and it was cooked to perfection and very tender. My wife had the gnocchi with creme brulee for desert and both were excellent. I had a cheese platter that could have been better.
Overall it isn't as good as it once was but still worth a visit if you are staying close by.

It has its moments, sometimes the foods good, lots of times it's not so good. They struggle under pressure, which is a shame that's when they should shine. Under staffed ? There are some lovely staff and some very rude staff. Kudos 2 all of u that give it your all 🤩

i ordered rump steak and mixed grill for my wife. i asked for medium rare. but they’re all over cooked. very chewy. i have to say it is the worst dining experience in rsl

I agree worst roast pork lunch ever. Potato looked as though it had sat from the night before. Cauliflower raw and discoloured. Pork overcooked with no crackling.

Had grilled Barramundi the only thing drier than the fish was the plate it was on. The salad consisted of half a cherry tomatoe half a slice of cucumber a small amount of onion and a large amount of lettuce. Never again.

Great dinner experience for the family.
The visitor check-in process handled professionally & in an orderly manner.
The main meal portion is very generous.
Creamy garlic linguini pasta & Garlic prawn rice as the entree is the best 👍.
Electronic card payment accepted in this place.

Free Elvis tribute artist was excellent fun. Great acoustics, comfy seats and spacious dance floor.... plus great garli pizza and reasonable prices for drinks. Very welcoming for kids too.

First time going out in years for a meal and I got served a live caterpillar on my salad. The fact they didn't see it when it was on top of the salad shows the quality of the meal. Won't be going there for a meal again.

Came here on a fimly visit. Very good place for food, good atmosphere it was a very nice place to eat and drink 10/10

Called in at 2.30pm on a Monday. Absolute ghost town. Bistro shut till 6pm, coffe shop shut. Asked about pizzas, hmm might be open not sure so only food to buy was chips in machine. Don't bother calling in unless it's at a meal time. Bar staff not interested. Should have read reviews prior. Seems management are day dreaming as numerous poor reviews. Very disappointed worst RSL I have been to.👎
