Went for lunch with a friend waited over 1 hours for meal. Mine beef nachos were cremated, friends nasi goreng was cold, she tried to eat hers about a quarter of the meal, I ate the top off mine on leaving we returned the meals to the bar and stated they were inedible, the staff member with grey hair started to rant at us all the reasons why, I explained as a paying customer we should of got a satisfactory meal we did not ask for a refund, as we left she told us to - - - - - - and - - - - in words this won't allow me to write , will never return.

Well priced accommodation located in the centre of Town. Rooms are clean, quiet & have own bathroom. Pub has dining room with great meals, outdoor courtyard for dining.

We have dinner here weekly. Good average meals, and specials bar staff very friendly. Busy most days but meals come out fairly quickly. Occasional muddle with orders due to new kitchen staff but overall enjoyable pub for lunch or dinner Didnt stay so can't comment on accomodation

Very happy with our meals. I had the fish curry special and my mate had a steak. Both cooked perfectly and tasted great. Service was fairly quick too. Will definitely come back when visiting Narrogin again.

Tv antenna cable wasn't working properly told the young lady in charge of booking but all I got was they are in the process of doing up the rooms no replacement antenna cable so no tv !!!
Bed was initially like sleeping on a roller skate but adapted, overall not bad but poor service

The hotel offers great value and quality accommodation and food services. The staff was very friendly and warm .we enjoyed drinks and suprisely really tasty food and lovely decor of the rooms. Happy travellers ❤️

The food is really good here. I had the belly pork and my wife had sirloin steak. Both were delicious. It heightens the odds that everything else on the menu is equally as good.
Typical pub service, in that you order at the bar, pay and take a number on a stick to your chosen table. The service depended on what staff member you got. We went to sit in the dining room and had a lovely, cheerful waitress, who couldn't do enough for us, even giving us some local event information. One of the barmaids was a bit surly and curt but you often get that at a pub. Overall, a really good experience.

The bar and wait staff couldn’t do any more to make for a comfortable visit. Very impressed with every interaction. Exception pub grab….

Room clean and comfortable, food was great! Beer was nice and cold. Parking out back was very handy. Second stay here, first time was also great. Ill be back again. Only real drama was the stairs out the back a tad tricky when dark, for a 125 odd year old building it is in great shape.Beers $9 for a pint, meals are value for money, had the surf and turf and couldn't fault it.

Perfect price, perfect rooms, perfect value for the travelling working contractor! This should be the minimum benchmark for all WA regional accommodation 💪🏼

Ordered food here, the bun on the burger was rock hard stale, homeless people would turn it down. The waitress was sucking on a lollipop 🍭 while serving, not really a good look and there was a dog drifting in and out of the bar. I get that it is a small town country pup with lots of locals...but need to lift their game in the food and service department.

My husband and myself dropped in to have lunch and see what the food was like. We had a really beautiful meal, I had the garlic prawns with steamed rice and my husband had a burger with fries. The service was fantastic. We went back a few days later and tried the chicken with garlic prawns salad with chips. Once again it was a truly beautiful meal. We live in Darkan and the Duke of York is about a 50 minute drive but it's well worth it! There's nothing open in Darkan to be able to get a meal 😕. We will be definitely going back 😋

I heard the meals here were great but we never got that far as the lady behind the bar gave us an icy welcome and blurted out that the kitchen closes in 45 minutes. We decided to order drinks as well as a bottle of wine. Again we were told that there was a coverage fee of $5. The Thirsty camel shop is connected to The hotel and I had to go choose my own wine and come back. Terrible terrible atmosphere and it seemed if you were not local you were not welcome. Will not be going back there again..

I chose the Ocean Catch, it was delish & plenty of it however hubby chose Pork Belly. Although it was tasty only a small serving. All staff friendly & clean dining room. Drinks cold too, would love to sample some of the other meals we saw coming out to others.. wow!

Have to say that this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time… our food arrived after over an hour (which would have been ok if we’d been told so we could have chosen another venue). We all ordered either a Schnitzel or Parmigiana and the food came out cold… we all barely got through half the meal before leaving and the staff didn’t seem bothered at all that we weren’t happy with our meal when I told them our food was cold etc… very poor!

Had dinner tonight and it was delicious. Thank you chef. Bar staff and serving staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great meals and friendly service.I had chicken parmigiana with chips and salad $30. Partner had porterhouse steak chips salad $33. With a side order of garlic bread. The bread was a French baguette homemade style, thick and tasty. We sat in the main bar area. Our meals came out in a timely manner. Pub does have separate dining area and games room. Has a nice beer garden with seating also. Wine by the glass $6. Seems well frequented by locals.

Good pub, with fairly priced steaks. Lovely atmosphere that is common in any good town pub.

Five of us had a really enjoyable lunch yesterday. The food and service were something else - pub, but at another level. Very busy, but not noisy. Can't remember when I last found my favourite dessert - a BAKED cheesecake. And a jolly good one too. Thank you!

Fantastic. We had a very warm welcome at check-in, our room was great and had a great nights sleep. Our meal was very nice with prompt service, we were offered a heater in the room where we ate our meal. Could not fault it. We will definitely stay there again when passing that way.
Thanks to all the bar staff and the owners, great job, well done.

Clean rooms. Coffee and tea provided. Mini kitchen also has microwave. Dated but very clean. Bit noisy if night event in the pub downstairs.

Came for a family dinner, truly excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient.
