We had our Calligraphy X'mas and of year break up party.
Food was exceptional, great sized serves. Friendly staff & great service. Great time had by all. Of our ladies that attended, all meal a were delicious and the Sticky Date Pudding was to die for. Apparently the Chef added Marachino cherries and sultanas to the mixture for Christmas.

We had an enjoyable lunch there yet again. Tip, watch the blackboard specials. On the couple of occasions I had them they've been excellent, as was the seafood marina with prawns scallops and calamari I had on this visit. Friendly staff and good food.

The music was a bit loud for dinner conversations, however, the food was great-tasting and fast to deliver. I thought the portions were great for the price.

The bloke in the drive-thru did us solid by telling us what was on special instead of giving me the more expensive bottle I asked for. Top bloke. Thanks mate.
We didn't go inside so can't comment on the food or atmosphere.

Seven different meals and all excellent, quick service and presentation.
Waited hour and a half for a cab, when the manager found out he dropped us home in the courtesy bus. How awesome is that for service. Easy five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Sadly it's the second time we have had a bad experience. Always takes so long for the meal to come out and we were the only customers. Only for our meal to come old stone cold and their solution was to warm it in the microwave for us. The food used to be really good probably 12 months ago however now it's really poor.

Popped in after the Bundy Distillery Tour for a counter meal / lunch special, was warmly welcome by Dan who was very attentive. Medium rare rib fillet steaks were cooked to perfection, my partner who doesnt do rabbit food / salad cleaned his plate completely. We were both thoroughly satisfied with service food and chinwag. Thanks Dan & chefs, see you again.
4 stars instead of 5 due to carpets when cleaned needed more time to dry = slight odour otherwise highly reccomendable venue and staff.

One of my fav places to have a game. Bartenders are always friendly and courteous. Gaming room has a pretty good selection of games

My wife and I try somewhere different each weekend. Tried the East End Hotel today. I had the Angus rump and my wife the pork sirloin and absolutely to die for. Just so good.

My son went for tea with friends & there was a mix up with the meals. When he complained he was given attitude by the server. Then the chef came out and verbally abused my son in front of the whole restaurant in a loud voice. He swore at him calling him a c##t & using the f word. He eventually made him a new meal.Absolutely disgusting behaviour. We won't be going there again & I will be relaying this story to everyone I know.

I went through the bistro at the East End Hotel today, having previously had good experiences when having work lunches with my team (good food, fast service). Today was a very poor experience and after a colleague shared they had also had a poor experience over the weekend I decided to leave a review. The front of house ladies were great but food super slow and unpleasant to eat. My dad said the fish was like rubber, my gravy had absolutely no flavour and my mum didn't enjoy her steak sandwich. Won't go back now! We had to ask after our food because it was so slow.

I really liked my meal, the duck.skin was super crispy the meat was a bit overcooked but it was a well presented dish. My wife's meal was very innovative omlet with salmon, it was a very small meal which suited my wife fine. Highly recommend

If you want to have a great culinary experience, the Sugar Reef Bar And Bistro is the place to go. The chef is absolutely amazing. If you want a steak, he will cook it exactly how you like it. It's no hit or miss here. It's always a hit. I usually get the prawn topper with my steak, and the prawns are always cooked to perfection as well. I have also tried the Chicken Kiev. It's out of this world. It's not your usual crumbed chicken with garlic butter, it doesn't have crumbs, but it is stuffed with an amazing array of flavours, cut into thick slices with cheese sauce over the top. I've never had anything like it, but I will certainly be back for more. They have an extensive menu, I'm sure that there is something for everyone. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but honestly, you don't need them. If you go and try a meal there you won't be disappointed. Hats off to the chef.

Had dinner at the East End on Tuesday night. Delicious Nasi Goreng and a pork belly burger with a very accommodating staff member means that we will definitely be going back again!

Excellent! We were a party of 9 and every single meal was great and the service was fast even though it was fully booked. I had steak (medium well), it was tender and juicy. The bar staff were also excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Disappointing. Left us with a hungry tummy and a $69 debit in our bank account.
Staff not great and snide, food was just ok, menu was not clear and some items were serious over priced. Meat not cooked to order and low budget. We sat with 3 tables of unhappy guests.
Probably should start hearing the issues instead of blaming the customers for ordering from the special menu.

Booked a table in the Bistro the week before, an easy process. I remember coming here years ago for an event and the food being really good, so decided to take the MIL.
On arrival they were expecting us. They were organised, told us exactly what was on the specials and what was not available.
Ordered our food and arrived in good time. Food was cooked well, moist and tasty. We ordered the Chicken Parmi and Reef Fish of the day. The veggies were crisp and not over some like I usually do 😂. Massive portions we couldn't finish and doggy bag provided.
Nice quiet atmosphere despite a table of over 10 people. So the accoustics.must be good.
Will definitely be back again.

Been the best in Bundy for 20yrs. Not a venue known for food, but it's really good also!! Pokies are for everyone and most of the staff have been long term employees. Bloody great 👍 (ps. Great priced beers!!)

Been a few times now and very hard to have steak cooked to how you order but they have got it right each time highly recommend well done love taking friends there for reliable good food

After travelling for a few days, we really wanted a home style meal. We decided to try East End Hotel Bundaberg. I am so glad that we did! I am a stickler for reviews and almost did not come because of a few that I saw. All four of my children came as well as myself with different orders. We had two cheeseburger meals on the kids menu, which I could’ve easily had, and be full! The burgers were thick and juicy, and very soft for the kids! It filled them up nicely. Another son, had the bacon cheeseburger, and it was glorious! Three of us could split that! It was very juicy and filling and flavourful! another son got the fish kids meal, and it came out Perfect! I myself got the steak sandwich and it was just perfect! We were so happy that they were accommodating for a few of our needs, and every single thing tasted amazing! Thank you so much for having us and bending over backwards to accommodate some of our needs. We will definitely be back again and favourite this place.
