Went for Dinner on Friday night and the food was really good. The staff especially May was very lovely and came and said hello to my little niece. Really good food and service. Even got free raffle tickets with our food and won two meat trays.

Unfortunately according to a kitchen staff member,
there has been a change of management & the food quality has dropped since the last time I was there.

This venue is just purely excellent in many facets.
I work across the road and love to drop in to the ECT every now & then with my workmates & colleagues for a meal worth waiting for all morning.
I cook at home 98% of the time & therefore very picky but I still can’t match the standards of the schnitzel at home for starters .
Hats off to the chefs - unbelievably good doof . Bar staff are cool .
Good sized TAB venue , plenty of machines & a superbly good drive through bottle o at the back run by Pedro is 5th star ⭐️. And of course the Pizzas 🍕

* I returned again this week with the boys & the choice was unanimous , 6 chicken schnitzels with salad , chips & gravy plus a couple of serves of the infamous garlic bread and quite a few drinks . Brilliant as per usual - The ECT Rules .
* Returned today with a 7 strong crew & we were well fed once again. Top venue but damn those trucks out on Huntingwood drive & Brabham drive causing decibel mayhem whilst trying to enjoy a durry out on the rear deck ! Yep I can’t get away from truck noise but the Tav is still 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
P.S. you can’t hear the trucks inside , I swear .
* September- dropped in for lunch with the lads & old mate McAngus . Highly impressed with the unanimous choice of chicken schnitzels , chips , salad & the best garlic bread on Earth .
Pedro at the bottle shop is a top bloke &
bar staff & managers are really cool .

*Returned last Friday with a crew of 8 mates . 7 schnitzels & a parmy with chips , gravy , salad , drinx & generous serves of the renowned best garlic bread in Sydney .
I grabbed a supreme pizza for dinner , awesome choice . Grabbed a slab of Turkey rarebreed premixes & a beer for my weekend battered prawns from old mate Pedro at the well stocked bottle shop .
This place never lets anyone down therefore don’t trust the negative reviews , ya can’t please every person that has a chip on their shoulder , it’s better on a plate ✌️
*Dec 2023 - returned with a crew of 8 lads for lunch . Under new management I could not help but notice a few improvements & speaking to the staff it looks like some of excellent upgrades are on the way .
Great to see all the staff are keeping their jobs too . Only complaint is the demise of the Publinc. loyalty scheme . I hope a fitting replacement is on the cards or cheaper prices for purchases at the bottle shop & bistro .
* Returned with the crew on 29th of February. Still absolutely awesome 🏆
The only negative aspect is the loyalty cards were phased out when new management took over a few months ago and the savings on meals and purchases from the bottle shop is truly missed by all.
Not happy about that at all .

Such lovely people! We spoke to a bloke who was very kind & was very helpful! He said they’d taken over only in December but for only new owners they were very organised! Very good customer service, we came here because we went to watch the drags and it was raining & im assuming a lot of other people did the same & they were smashed there! But all had service with a smile & for the meals we ordered & the amount of people that were there they had them out in good timing, would 100% come back if I’m ever out this way again! Thanks again for a great lunch

Stopped in for a couple after work for the first time.. Ended up having a good meal as well. Stacey behind the bar was great, always smiling very friendly and quick service.. Will definitely be back

Staff are lovely and friendly, but the bruschetta pizza was uneatable! Base was like trying to eat cardboard. When I told the staff, they apologised but didn't offer to give my $18 back or drinks!

Snitzel was yummy with good chips & salad. Prices were good & atmosphere was good. A nice location for us as it was halfway to our destination. Will be stopping there again

Service was good, food however was not the best. We got fish and chips. The fish had no flavour and appeared to be a little under cooked. However chips were lovely seasoned and quite nice. Pizza we got was burnt and not cut properly. We will go back though if down there again, as it was not terrible just needing some little improvements.

Refurbished and modern pub is clean and offers a good range of beers and food. The Sunday Brunch for $9.00 (member's price) was great. So was the Seis Hermanos Lager brewed by the Australian Brewery.

Really disappointment we have been coming here for over 5 years. Suddenly new ownership has changed the menu and removed our favourite. Our meal for two would normally cost 55 dollars with membership prices for two meals, entree and drink. Today cost nearly 90 dollars for two. The steak was not even cooked great. Furthermore our membership with all our points has been deleted with no communication to let us know that is no longer exists. Extremely disappointing

One of the best Chicken Pizzas I've had around in the area. 10/10. Textures, flavours, it's All There.
It does get busy sometimes so make sure to buy a drink when you order food so the wait is more bearable when you're starving

Lovely staff at Bar
Ordered med rare steak with surf and turf and chicken snits. They made mistake surf and turf was on the snits so they cooked another one. While cooking left steak under lights by the time we got it Welldone. Because waited a long time we had to go back to work as lunch was over.
Chicken Snitz outside was hard and wasn’t good.
They stuffed up the order before too
Only thing good was the pepper sauce.
Prices for drinks expensive.

I had the chicken parmi and it was divine so yummy but the chips were luke warm but well seasoned. There wernt many gluten free options.

Honestly it's ok, the food is hit and Miss.... sometimes it's good and other times its not great, you pay a decent dollar for it too, so it's aGamble really.

Has a big beer can in the carpark - great attractions. Reminds me of a normal beer can, only 1000 times larger!

Great place to stop for a drink after work . Very clean and good service, but it wasn't very busy with Indoor and outdoor seating .
Great TAB facilities and a pokies room .
Food good , just ordered some fried chicken and chips to eat while having a drink and a bet .
There is also a bottle shop so you can get something to get ya through the night.
Call in sometime.

Food used to be great. New owners with changed menu now. Food is more expensive and bland. I had rump steak for $32. Steak was tough and meal had no flavour. Steak wraps used to be delicious with previous owner.

Definitely 5 stars for this place. Cosy and top notch steak. Been here twice and the steak was cooked to perfection each time.

Called in after I did a track day at the circuit up the road, meal was pretty good but my only gripe would be $10 for a garlic bread. Otherwise not a bad place to have a quick bite to eat before hitting the road back home

A great place to drop in for a drink and a meal. Special shout out to barmaid Anne who is always friendly and very helpful, she pours a nice cold beer too! :-)

3 out of 6 meals were wrong, the chef was argumentative when told the food didn't match the menus. The manager was pleasant and apologetic and fixed 2 of the meals but the rump steak served was a low grade blade steak which was not acceptable.

$10.20 for a schooner of beer? Robbery, you wouldn't pay that in the CBD on a Saturday night.
