We were told to try this place, the food was supposed to be very good, so, off we went for lunch, and low and behold, the food was great, we both had a steak with veggies, would not hesitate to recommend this place a great place to have meal

Walked in, not knowing what to expect.
Had a great schnitzel, asked for a sticky date to take home, the chef made me a butterscotch sauce before we left very accomodating. Highly recommend

This pub does not disappoint!! We pulled in for lunch here on our way through. The food was amazing with a loaded plate!! great prices for the amount of food. If you don’t know where to stop, this is the place. As a bonus the pub is well set out, spotless with great friendly good humoured staff.

The staff where very friendly. Food was amazing. Great value for money. My husband had the steak & ribs, the meat just melted in your mouth. I had the chicken ABC, it was amazing, great variety of vegetables, very big meals.

The food is ok as long as you don’t get a steak. Time and time again I give them another chance with the Over priced scotch fillet and I am let down every time. One time it looked soo bad I took it back, it looked like road kill. The look on the chefs face was like I just slept with his wife.. And the last time it was no bigger than a 1 minute steak.
Not once has it ever been cooked to the requested medium rare either.
Nice pub, but can’t do a steak. End of story.

The "chef" reckon its good??? Seriously have you ever taste the food you cooked before? Have you even grill it before serve, it taste more like a freakin sous vide ribs. This is the WORST $30 RIBS i ever had. Theres still redish on the bone and meat! If youre thinking to get your food here, GOOD LUCK GUYS!

Such an amazing dine-in experience at the restaurant with surprisingly quick service, especially this close to Christmas, with delicious food. I ordered the veggie pizza and requested feta to be added, to which was so kindly done free of cost. Would love to come back and totally recommend!

Not bad really. Me and my partner both ordered a steak, they got the sauce wrong but when I asked for the correct sauce the young man replaced my sauce straight away he had a pot ready and was very professional. I thought it was well handled, the steaks were done well also. Great job

Nice little pub which is about half way between Sydney and Tamworth. On the day we went, there was ample seating which was comfortable and appropriately spaced to meet COVID guidelines. The hotel itself has a bit of history, and it's heritage is visible in it's fascade and pub section.
The restaurant staff were very pleasant, and the ordering process was straightforward; they give you a buzzer which rings when the food is ready. The wait was a bit on the longer side ~20-25 minutes, but this is to be expected when they're making the dishes from scratch. I ordered the pasta costing around 25 dollars which was delicious, in a decent portion size.
I would definitely recommend this place for someone happy to spend some quality with family/friends over a longer meal. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's probably isn't best suited for travelers wanting a quick meal stop.

I went to have dinner, I ordered one of the specials, which was a pulled brisket nachos, the menu board said it had guacamole and sour cream. I was very excited... I was given the buzzer to pick it up. When the buzzer buzzed I went to pick it up and they said there was no guacamole and no sour cream. So I asked what they were going to do, they practically said: “nothing” and shrugged their shoulders. I guess you could say they apologised, but it felt more like: “Suck it up, buttercup”. Well the plate didn’t look that bad, but it really was that bad. It was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. I’m not a fussy eater.

I was a bit put off by the poorly maintained facade of the building. But I persevered and when I got inside the place looked well maintained and clean. The food in the bistro was great with a varied menu and the service was great. Fix up the front of the building and you'll get 5 stars next time.

It was a great meal. Staff were very friendly.
Great value meals especially the daily special.
The meal size was great, no loose belts when we left.

I have previously given Eaton's 5 stars in a review from 2 years back but I've been recently and can't say it's as good as it used to be. It's still not bad and one of the better pubs for food in Mussy.

If I could give it a 6, I would.
Well set out pub with an open fire. Schnitzels are next level! Haven't had a better schnitty in my life. Everytime I'm up here for work I'm eating dinner at this place. If only we had a pub like this in Newcastle!!!

Great pub, great atmosphere and great staff to the point that Laura made us feel really welcome and another gentleman gave us a ride home in their courtesy shuttle. This pub made our trip to Muswellbrook!!

Great pub for all. Family, friends, workers. Very open planned but has different sections to choose from. Modern but a bit rustic like a good old country pub. Friendly staff and locals. Great atmosphere. I didn't have a meal there but friends have said meals are good. Go in and have a look, stay for a beer or a meal you won't be disappointed!

Great food! One of the best pub dinners I've had in a long time. I ordered the rib special and it was fantastic value for money for $32. Will definitely be regulars here.

Come up from Vic to visit family decided to grab a meal and a beer best choice!! It has been updated with a fresher modern look down the back with an awesome country menu to match. Will definitely make this pub our pub of choice next time around. Highly recommended.

A great spot for dinner. I would love to see the accommodation re established upstairs again.
