Whats does anyone else's thoughts on this place to make a difference in regards with this issue warrants attention to the details that you will be there at some point in time for the owners of this establishment in mind to it is for real for your thoughts on the hotel have a much needed impact on then what is considered by the fairway the driver for windows and doors to get replaced by example you could think of the other important improvements in your mind for any additional information you give to the business invaluable in the notice of upgrades to be done first place have to be thought of you are wanting to see if you have any impact on the words of yours then sincerely faithfully see for yourself and find out more than what you are thinking 🤔🤔🤔 AWESOME

This is a really lovely place to pop in for lunch or dinner. We often go when we are out shopping. Portion sizes are great prices are great too. The place is spotless, modern and I know the area gets a bad shout, but it's really nice in there and everyone is so relaxed. I took a couple of people in today for lunch and they looked at me horrified.. they loved it. We got to share.. wings, pizza, chips and onion rings. So much food left over. I think we counted 9 TV's, 3 had the footie on and the others all had a different sport. Oh, there's a pool table too.

The staff are welcoming and polite, nice atmosphere, the building is clean and tidy, the toilets were clean and tidy also.
The food is tasty and very good portions, very well cooked. Parking isn't an issue as it is within Elizabeth shopping centre complex.

There is a new menu at the elizabeth tavern and at least in my opinion it was a great change. In my last review I was a little disappointed in the food however our visit this time was great. Garlic bread good, and the new American style burgers with chips and onion rings were a great improvement. We will definitely be back again. Well worth a visit NOW some clever marketing could see the elizabeth tavern full at lunch and dinner. Great changes have been made to the menu and venue. My only negative was the service being a little slow but in the end was worth it.

The food tonight was undercooked. No just my meal,but ,all of them.
$8 for potato skins is a joke,when all you get is 4 slices of potato!
More than disappointing.

Quiz night on a Monday is the best way to start the week! Paired with 50c wings, you can't go wrong. Great staff and great food, we'll definitely be back.

Poor service. The staff look like they dont want to be there. Tony in particular has the personality of a wet mop. Treat patrons like they are not welcome cold atmosphere or none at all. Will never go back and understand why most locals have moved on. Staff changes more often than princess mary's underpants. One word is only necessary to describe this place Dump!

Now that the shell petrol station is gone, I would like to give the owners of the Tavern a suggestion to expand into that freed up block of land!! Where better than right next to the shopping complex to have a huge tavern/entertainment venue with live bands and stuff! That would be great, there’s not much in the north in the way of night time entertainment

My Fiance and I have eaten many times at Elizabeth Tavern and have always left feeling disappointed with the food that we have eaten but NOT tonight (Friday 17/5/2024). New Chef, new Menu which meant AMAZING FOOD. We started with Pork Belly Bites that came with dipping sauce and salad, the Pork was so tender and the salad and dipping sauce were so tasty. My Fiance then had the Chicken Stew and I had the Thai Chicken Curry both from the Specials Board. My Fiance could not rave enough about how tasty the broth was and how the vegetables had been cooked to perfection and as for my Curry I could've been in any Thai Restaurant in the city, it was so good I gave it 10/10. I was lucky enough to be able to speak to the Chef after we had finished eating and I was able to tell him how amazing his food was. If you are looking for awesome food and service then Elizabeth Tavern is where you need to be. We will be back!

My family and I went somewhere new for dinner. That was a mistake. We ordered a pizza, salt and pepper squid and a chicken schnitzel. Was notified they were out of squid "it is the only thing we don't have" (no problem) so we happily decided on the fish and chips. After sitting down for quite a while we were told that they were out of pizza. OK. We changed that order to beef schnitzel parmigiana. A while later they then notified us that they had no garlic sauce for the fish. So we asked for aoli. Our meals eventually came out.
After starting my meal I noticed that my beef schnitzel was WAY under cooked. I waved down the grumpy waitress to let her know and she blamed the butcher. I then went to the bar to speak to someone else. I explained the whole story as above and she agreed that the new butcher was not good and they would not be using them again. Did not seem sorry or ask to even see it.
Correct me if I am wrong but butchers do not cook my meal a chef does.
I chose not to eat my meal apart from the chips. The second staff member after my family finished eating came and asked if we would like a drink on the house.
We declined.
We will not be back.
Other diners did not seem happy with their meals either.

Looked at a few places to celebrate a 50th birthday celebration and after taking to Shane here, decided this was the best value for our money. Shane provided details on services provided and made the whole process of organising and booking the event really simple.
More food than we thought. Bar staff were friendly and accommodating up until we had to leave.
Good service, good food, good prices, friendly staff. Great night, Thankyou Shane and your team

I would like to say how wonderful James is serving customers in the drive thru. Always very polite and friendly, happy to help with customers inquiries. We often come here , hoping James is working. Young staff can learn so much from this man.

I ordered with one minute till they shut the kitchen, they were more than happy to accept my order... lucky for me as my cheese burger was lovely with onions rings also.... great meal after a pint and a poke 🙂 Also, staff are excellent, credit to the Tavern.....

I am really disappointed how the staff treated people with disabilities, the food was late, they slammed the plates, and I was on other table watching this going on. If you are going to be slow with the food please explain to people, you do not have to be rude about it. I would never go back again and I hope that the other people on that table don't get too upset about it was not your fault

Have been to a couple of the quiz nights now, not local to the area but thought I would give it a go.
Such a fun night, food was delicious (I have coeliac disease and can't have dairy and they were able to give me an exceptional meal at short notice) the quiz Meister was brilliant and service excellent. I will definitely be coming back- hopefully our team will win next time!

Had a fantastic meal and quiz night here a couple of weeks ago. Great crowd and super friendly staff, particularly Shane. The food was superb (we had a chicken schnitzel and a burger) and it arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, even with it being busy from the quiz night. Highly recommend!

Food and service are great! The outside area is warm and cosy in winter. Onion rings are elite.

Despite living in the area all my life, this is the first time I've eaten at the Elizabeth Tavern. First it was easy to locate a car park. I booked a table online. The menu is varied enough but there are no vegetarian options. The meals were well prepared and well presented. The venue itself has a myriad of massive led displays showing live streams of sports from all over the globe. The seniors card discount is a bonus. I found it friendly and pleasant. I'll come again. I would not hesitate recommending it as a group venue.

Cold and under cooked food. Tasted as if it had been sitting in the fridge in fat for a couple of days
This is the 3rd review I've tried to write, but somehow it keeps disappearing.
Cannot recommend this place at all.

Awesome service, food & place. Friendly staff. A very small suggestion about pizza 🍕 that it will be more delicious if you can use homemade pizza dough base. Thank you for the chefs & service team who made our dining experience amazing. Thank you.

All of our food was disgusting!! My 94 year old grandfather and myself both ended up with food poisoning and were sick for over 4 days vomiting, cramping etc! I rang and spoke to cook who said sorry and was supposed to contact me with to compensate us once he seen his manager the next day and I'm still waiting a week later!! I was only visiting Adelaide as my Nan passed away and this was supposed to be a nice memory meal with my grandfather...... not happy at all!!!😡

A great place to drive by and keep going . As a group of 13 men we attended your establishment and waited over an hour to receive our orders .
Today we went to the Lady Daly hotel at Hindmarsh , we were served promptly , all our lunch came out within 30 mins . We were treated with dignity and respect . Then there's the manager , we had a bit of a disagreement about the poor service and I was asked to leave ,I did with pleasure and then I was called a part of the female anatomy , this is not what anyone should called from a manager of an establishment.

Absolutely piss poor service and waiting times for food, we had our disability participants getting hungry while no initiative was shown by the staff to keep the kitchen up to speed, very disappointing , nobody should come here for a feed
