We have been coming here for 7 years and absolutely love this place. The staff are always so friendly. The atmosphere is cosy and the food is delish! Grab yourself a Lamb shank - you’ll thank me later!

We had our monthly boys dinner there tonight. The meals were large and very tasty. We all had a great night. Highly recommend this hotel.

Was initially really nice casual place to relax with good mates. Staff over time became rude and irritable. Obviously not all of the staff with some being the most lovely people I have met. The manager was quite inhospitable. Food was quite average compared to other local establishments.

The Wick is always our go-to when visiting family and friends when we’re down from south west Victoria, which is often. The food is always delicious and the menu is extensive. The service is extra friendly, second to none! We love the happy country atmosphere The Wick creates. Keep up the terrific work!

The service from Shelby was absolutely delightful, what an asset. Great food and really great option for Seniors too. Highly recommend.

The food was awesome. The service was great too. And the atmosphere, top notch with bar in the middle and screens surrounding you for your favourite sports.

Rump steak was almost all grissle and was raw. Sent it back and the same steak was returned, still quite raw. Only 2 bites were edible. Not very nice. Chips were delicious though. Did not get a chance to eat the salad which I was looking forward to. Staff were not friendly and had a bad attitude. Very disappointed.

Love coming to this venue. The food, service and atmosphere is amazing. We always love seeing Georgie who always adds so much to our enjoyment of our catch ups

It was okay. I liked the atmosphere and service was good but the meals were a little disappointing. The parmigiana’s were nice; especially loved the bacon and avocado one. However, the chips were terrible and the salad was lack lustre. I probably wouldn’t go back again 🤦🏼♀️

It is what it is and not trying to be anything else!
Pool tables, all sports, TAB and a very generous and not overcooked schnitzel for $20 (Parma $23).
Go here for what it is and you will have a great time!

I so wanted to make this my regular local hotel. Several attempts made with the restaurant and it’s been very patchy . This last time was particularly bad with a blue steak closer to medium and had cooled off as had the chips, salad drowned in some dressing. The pumpkin salad was great last time but on this occasion almost tasteless with about an entire Spanish onion filling the plate. Service too on this occasion was patchy at best ( and they were not busy) . Maybe one more time , perhaps.

I'm giving this hotel a 4 though I think it's more a 3.75
As a group of 5 we attended on a Tuesday evening and had an enjoyable time
We sat in a semi enclosed booth which blocked the noise of a nearby 10+ table
Wine and beer choices were good. The food was satisfying without being spectacular and the cost was reasonable.
Staff were super friendly and efficient

I love coming to the Elsternwick Hotel with my girlfriends. The staff are wonderful (we love Georgie), the food is delicious (thank you so much chefs) and the atmosphere of the hotel is such that we can take our time and relax and catch up with each other in our favourite booth. Thank you Elsternwick Hotel for always welcoming and looking after us 😊

Beautiful, welcoming staff, so accommodating. Food was very very good? And reasonably priced, 200g Eye Fillet Steak was excellent , the Prawn linguine "Special" was "brilliant" according to my soon to be 80 year old father.

Awesome Pub! If your looking for old school meals this is the place! Well priced, heaps of seating. Fire place for cold nights! Pool tables, pokies, outside smoking. 2 bars.

The steak is the best, this side of the Yarra.

A great pub. Spacious indoor and outdoor areas with a pool table. Meals served in a timely manner. Staff are friendly, Dion and Liv were efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
