Were there for Mother’s Day with wife and daughter and grandchildren. Food was good, service was very good and atmosphere great as seating is uncrowded and well laid out. Only gave four stars for the Roast of the day seniors meal as it was very small.

We have attended the Eltham Hotel twice now in the last couple of months for an evening meal, the staff very friendly followed by good service and the food was just excellent .

The steak was cooked very well. The grilled barramundi was excellent. The staff were nice and friendly. Definitely will return.

The person who showed us to our table gave us no information on how or where to order. We hunted down someone to ask what the roast of the day was, then tried to order via the table's QR code, but some items on the printed menu weren't online. We hunted down a staff member again and they said not everything is online, so they took our order. Wait time to get a drink at the bar was long as only 1 person serving - on a Saturday night! Really not great service and food was just OK.

The most beautiful calamari meal had here. My friends LOVED their huge meals too… Service was incredible - attentive but not intrusive. Will def be back. Loved going there and not having to yell to be heard with too much noise in most restaurants. Easy parking, reasonably priced drinks. 20/10 easy mark..!!!! Kate was a star along with her workmates … Thank you 👏👏👏

The Eltham Hotel does a fantastic $20 parma and pot deal on a Monday to Thursday. If you come in between 11-2 on those days you can get a fantastic parma (one of the best in the north east) and a drink for a very reasonable price at the sports bar.
Only thing would be the service needs improvement.

My husband and I had a meal here to celebrate a special day. We hadn't booked a table and it was Saturday night.
The place was very busy but, with no fuss, a table was found for us. My husband ordered the roast lamb and I ordered the green Thai curry as well as a side salad.
The meals were placed before us within 15 minutes and my husband and I were already sipping on our drinks.
Both meals were fantastic. They were beautifully cooked, hot and extremely tasty. My husband said he'd never eaten such tender lamb.
Whilst I had no room for dessert, my husband ordered, and drooled over, the Sticky Date Pudding.
Our evening was made extra special by the warmth and attentiveness of our waitress, Cath. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Thank you, lovely Cath and chef Manny. We'll be back!!!

I went to the front bar of the Eltham Hotel, with a mate a few nights ago, to simply order a parmy & have a few beers. We both agreed the chicken parmy was the best either of us have had for many many years! Cooked to perfection, moist & excellent flavour. The chips were really noteworthy as well, & remained crisp to the end, the salad was blended with a tasty dressing. This meal is highly recommended! Compliments to the Kitchen staff. Thanks for an enjoyable night...I'll be back again.

I’ve been to the eltham hotel, with my family on multiple occasions and it has been very good every time across the board. Some personal recommendations I’d say is the steaks, cheesy garlic bread and beef burger. If you are looking for something very chill and enjoying some delicious food. The eltham hotel is for you!!

It has been a few months since we dined Eltham Hotel restaurant. We decided to give the restaurant another go for Mother's Day. Our family was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. The service was also also excellent. We will come again.

I didn’t think 7:40pm on a Sunday night was too late to order considering kitchen closes at 8:30pm but appears I was wrong. Grazier pie was yum with chunky meat but cool in temperature, mash was horrible and gravy - blah.
Chicken schnitzel - chips cool to cold, oily taste to schnitzel, suggest oil wasn’t to temperature.
Beer is good 😀
2/3 staff were very efficient and friendly. Will try another few venues before returning. Maybe a bustling Saturday could be the go.

I came here with a group of about 16 people. They had no trouble accommodating us as the place is rather spacious. There was plenty of car parking also on this Saturday afternoon.
I had the fish and chips with a side of salad. The chips were done as I liked them and the two large pieces of fish were nice also. Salad and dressing were enjoyable. Staff were friendly and came to check several times to make sure all our orders had been fulfilled. As pubs go, it was well ventilated and there were no unpleasant odors.

Haven’t eaten here before and usually go to surrounding local pubs. Really glad I did though, the food was delicious and well cooked. I had the parma which had a nice crispy crust. The battered chips were bloody good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will be going back!

Have been going to eat here for years with family and never had a bad meal or service. Highly recommend. The only thing it is missing is a play area. They used to have one but was taken out for more seating. This does limit how often I go when taking children with me. Otherwise food is good

Had a great time at Eltham Hotel. The food was delicious and was served very quickly! Staff were very friendly and kind, was served by a waiter I believe was Bailey or Hayley and was very kind which made the experience even better. Keep up the great work Staff and owners was a pleasure dining there, will be back with my family sometime soon😊😊

Great looking venue with great service, staff and management are accommodating, food is also some of the best pub bistro food around. Did not disappoint!

First time to "The Eltham" and we'll be back. Everything was 5*****, the service the food and the reasonable prices. The roast of the day was Turkey and it was cooked to perfection.

Enjoyable night out for my birthday. All my family in attendance. Food was good and came out in excellent time. Staff were courteous and helpful and pleasant 😊

Eltham Hotel has left the best impressions! We came here for a Birthday Celebration with Friends. Cath & Jess where fantastic on the floor with their customer service they went over and beyond.
Food was amazing so delicious & great variety. I highly recommend coming here we will be back again.

Decently priced, good sized meals. Good service and friendly staff. Crème brûlée is good but a bit too sweet, and could have had more of a top to it, but definitely worth a try.

Called the venue to ask about hours of kitchen service, was told that it was open to 8:30pm. We arrived at 8pm and were told that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes and we needed to order ASAP or we wouldn’t receive food. The staff were extremely unfriendly, clearly there is no such thing as customer service here. Such a shame as the food was lovely but the staff truly ruined the whole experience. Will not be visiting here again and will absolutely not recommend coming here. It was so uncomfortable for all.

Big thank you to Karli and her wonderful customer service. We had beautiful meals, and especially love the fact they are very gluten friendly with their variety! We had a bit of a mix up with our bill, but it was handled with calmness and kindness. Thanks so much, we will be back 😊

Amazing staff, and service Wonderful food, served brilliantly. Warm and cosy; spacious at the same time. Great menu. Salmon superb, Pork ribs delicious. Kids play area too. Yummy sticky date pudding, coffees and teas. Very happy with everything.

After reading quite a few recent good reviews on food we thought we’d give it a go. I had a scotch steak with chips and salad - steak was a very poor piece of meat, tough and not tasty (although was cooked correctly), salad had way too much dressing, pepper sauce was good. Wife had the roast which was well below average, turkey taste and texture was like it came out of a tin.
Probably won’t be back again.
