We had the special beef curry and the crab linguine. The curry was great, but the crab was over the top with chillis. I had to swap my crab with my friend's curry. Even he found it too hot. I'll be back, but next time I'll ask for a milder version, if possible.

We are 4 extra fussy diners who could not fault a thing today at our lunch. The only place we've ever experienced truly hot coffees. Food was delicious and service extra special. Thanks to all. Special thanks to Brooke and her Manager. We'll spread the word!

This local is a great spot for the cheeky meal. Menu is decent along with prices. I've never needed to book and have always enjoyed the food. It's more of a tucked away restaurant that offers great deals depending on the day. I go for the cheap schnitzel night which I can definitely recommend. There are pokie machines in the premises for those wishing to play. If it's a cheap meal with the family / crew I would recommend this place a visit!!!

The place was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The pizza seemed to be a bit smaller than listed on the menu(9inch), but it was very nice and tasty.
I'd certainly go there again.
Was back there Saturday, was fairly busy, but staff still excellent, friendly, and efficient. Food was still great. 🙂

Staff service was fantastic. Good location. Enjoyed thoroughly. Buffalo Wings were Awesome. Crispy with plenty of Sauce 👌

Shared a great lunch here today with 3 others. Lamb rump was amazing, and the others enjoyed their meals. Drinks were reasonably priced and staff were welcoming and friendly.

Lovely bowl of water for your fuzzy family and great tasting salt and pepper squid. Great big entertainment screen and lovely area to chat with friends and play pool.

I organised a group booking for work Christmas function. Mahena was so lovely to deal with throughout and made the process so easy and seamless for us. Food was very good. Generous portions and great value for money. Especially with the 40% off meal with a drink purchase on a Tues night! We all enjoyed our meals and experience. Thank you

Haven't been to the Excelsior for years since it was a steak house( which we loved) ,my wide had a 250 g scotch fillet ( chef special) she gave it 8/10 ,my snitty was good,the salad bar looked bare but i liked what i had,hot food bar looked better, overall it was a good feed

Had dinner with a friend tonight. I had a chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy. The schnitzel was perfect tasty and juicy. Gravy was on point. Could’ve had a bit more salad. The tastiest chips I’ve had in a while were where they should be, on the side and under the schnitzel. 9/10 guys. Very happy.

Had dinner here with a friend & it was lovely. The meals were reasonably priced & delicious. Staff interacted with us like old mates & overall was a great spot for dinner & few drinks

Good, honest local pub. Staff friendly and courteous, as are (most) of the locals and quick with a yarn/bit of banter. Beer always cold & fresh and reasonably priced, as is the tucker.

Food and Service Primarily on top of my list and the atmosphere just flows, I give this place a shining 5 star 🌟 review. 5 STARS That's all you need to know, to get you wanting to walk through the door.
Try something from the menu, delish dish dish.... high quality and flavoursome.
Honestly, for me, it's not the place that makes it successful. It's definitely the quality of people.
Bar staff are very friendly, very welcoming and they are great value overall they are of great quality people.with top grade service. People who are the friendliest, vibrant, personally just a great environment to hang out.
Every fortnight live entertainment and Funtastic variety of beverages for the Drinkers and the non drinkers.

Fantastic food! The BBQ lemon and herb chicken was delicious and the steak was thick and cooked perfectly. Best roast potatoes ever. The Excelsior now tops our pub list for quality and good value meals. We'll be back soon to try crab linguine, roasts, fish, burgers, lamb and probably everything else.

Daily dining and drink specials, good food and adequate carparking make Excelsior Hotel in Brompton a great option for a get together. Corner of Coglin and Hawker Streets. Coming from the City just follow War Memorial Drive west and you don't have to turn until you get to the Hotel. It is that easy.
