Went down to the exchange for the 50c wings on Wednesday with 2 mates. Make sure if you’re going around dinner time to book a day in advance as the place fills up fairly quickly for dinner service.
The meals were really nice, they had 17$ beer jug specials on 3 different draughts. The staff were friendly and proactive, the atmosphere was nice and chill. I’ll definitely be back.
We consumed 120 wings and a bowl of chips between the 3 of us and every bit was consistently cooked and delicious. Thanks guys !

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and the menu was superb for us. The staff were chatty and well humored doing al they could to ensure each visit was a pleasure. When travelling, we generally try a new establishment each evening but we continued t return here each evening, it was most memorable.

This place is my local.
Amazing food. You will not find better BBQ ribs or brisket ANYWHERE!
Great range of tap beers and craft beers in bottles.
$15 lunch specials are perfect for a fast and tasty lunch.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
The rooftop bar is perfect for warm spring nights.
By far the best pub in Gawler

There were still places available for Mother’s Day lunch at less than a week’s notice, but I’m not sure why. The place has been done up fairly recently. Lots of wood, plants and varied spaces. The food selection is quite large with a focus on bbq meats. The meals came quickly, the serves were generous and by all accounts tasted great. Pretty good drinks selection as well. There are lots of things the kids want to try “next time” so I’d say we’ll be going back!

There's lots of good pubs in Gawler but this I possibly the best. Service is brilliant, friendly and very helpful and the food is first class. Lunch specials offer amazing value. And they serve Stella, what's not to like?

The food was excellent, with great variety and value ,suggestions, beef ragout pie, and Cajun prawns. Ensure you are hungry .

The exchange is a alright place to get a drink and some food. Got the special Wings Wednesday deal and a platter of 50 of them. Very nice but forgot the sauce. Overall a nice pub to have a drink, food, and talk.

The best meal I've had at a pub for a long time. Can't wait to go back for dinner again soon.

Steak was nice but pricey at $48 for a scotch. Came with chips and some bland coleslaw. A bit more love could go into this food.

It was nice and warm in here on this cold Sunday evening.
The gas and electric heating were working well, We hadn't been here before so we weren't sure what to expect.
We liked the menu and picked a few of our favourites.
For starters we had wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce..and also garlic bread.
The mains were Fish & chips, a chicken snitty and a beef snitty.
The wedges were amazing. Very crunchy but soft inside we loved them.
The garlic bread was very sad, it needed more garlic flavour, although the bread was fresh and soft, i found it mostly bread with a hint of butter and garlic. It could be toasted a bit more too.
The snitty's are pretty good. The coating is tasty and meat tender. The battered fish is also pretty good.
All the meals came with what looked like coleslaw and in one of them we discovered a piece of light blue plastic, that looked like cling wrap. Perhaps it's used to cover the coleslaw. 🤔
I brought it to the waitresses attention as she cleared the table. Just so they could check the slaw in future.
(No one had any other problems. Looked like a 1 off, so we didn't make a big deal over it)
It was a good experience.
Love to come back..but will keep an eye on the salads 👁

Had the grilled fish and chips - the fish was not grilled but seemed steamed & very moist and wet. Not enjoyable. The other meals looked on.
If you are offering a grilled option then grill it!

Hadn't been there for a while but was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the meals coming out and the great taste and value. Had to take some home as could not fit it all in!! Yummo

From the street , you wouldn't know how modern and big this pub is.

Great food , our night was busy , but their order system needs looking at .It took us over 1 hour to get chicken wings for chicken wing wednesday .We were 1st on our table to order last to receive and we were early .staff did a good job in all .

Friendly staff, fast service, delicious food and a beautiful looking venue inside and out. Graveyard burger and cappuccino were both delicious.

Food was great, well presented and tasty.
Well set out with options to dine inside or out.
Service was good but could've used an extra person serving when it was busy.

Food was below average specifically for the price.
Fish has the classic defrosted rubbery texture and smell.
Ordered an expensive cocktail which arrived decorated with stale shrivelled strawberry on the rim (not pictured). I'll let the photo of the cocktail speak for itself.
Service was below average and very cold.

Food was average, and Murray's meats aren't what it used to be.
The dining area was loud, chaotic, and not enough seating for diners.
Ribs were average for the price.
Beef brisket was probably the best, followed by the pulled pork.
The fried chicken wasn't anything great, and the chimi chicken lacked everything and tasted burnt.
Staff behind the bar were lovely.

Excellent lunch time meals at great prices. Quiet relaxing atmosphere with good friendly service. Better than a noisy mall eating plastic food.

Don’t get what you order. Some how coleslaw and potato tots is a substitute for smoked beef brisket on what is meant to be a meat platter. Despite double checking the order at the counter. A single kebab with cold meat is $10. Very over priced. Will only return for wings Wednesday.

Best food in Gawler HANDS DOWN!! Friendly staff with great service and advice. Definitely a great place to go for a relaxing amazing feed, fantastic night-life on the weekend

As someone who rarely gets a chance to go out it was a nice day spent having brilliant food, it is a credit to the day staff as they were absolutely wonderful and initially it was such a great atmosphere. We stayed into the early evening and when I was looking around for someone we knew, I was met with an incredibly filthy look by a bar staff member. I assume I just had the misfortune to look in that direction at the wrong time? Who knows. But unfortunately what would have been a great experience is overshadowed by a rude and incredibly unprofessional encounter.

Amazing refurbishment! Excellent American style smoked meats on menu! Great beer selection. Staff are amazing & enthusiastic
