Very enjoyable very relaxed atmosphere friendly staff

The location is great, right in the middle of town.
We had to stay in town due to some unforeseen events and the Exchange had some capacity which was great.
But I must say we were quite shocked about the state of the rooms and accommodation.
I could get very graphic and describe it all, even considering taking images but I decided to leave all of that so the next guests may have a better experience and the housekeeping may get some motivation to improve the overall impression.

The Bar staff are very friendly, Friday and Saturday nights are best. They do fundraisers on a regular basis to help out example: cancer foundation and so on. The restaurant is awesome for dinner. I recommend the Exchange

The accommodation is woeful.... appallingly bad...... we had to place cups under the wheels to stop the beds rolling around the room, a small tv that most channels don't work, on top of a plastic bucket

Stayed over last weekend as me and mate were going to a wedding nearby. It was great value, the bedroom was very clean and comfortable as was the bar. Great selection of beers. Staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful in organising cab. Highly recommend it.

Staff are absolutely brilliant, very warm and welcoming. Food is amazing. Definitely be coming back.

Not very inviting to non locals.. bar staff kept chatting to others while I was being served. Though another staff member started and was fat more welcoming.. guess it's who u get

Nice small town pub The building itself is looking a little tired and could do with a restoration or spruce up at the very least Atmosphere on a Friday night with karaoke excellent

Mr ken's food is fantastic. Try the seafood laksa.

Love this old fabulous pub. Don't change. Great meals. Well priced. Also staff are excellent.

Ken and Monica were great. 1st time we had been there. The food was Thai and Chinese. Good service

It was a good pub until they changed to a city pub so are I will going elsewhere from now on it was my local it is not now

Great country pub with awesome meals and friendly staff. Trivia and poker nights are really good and Friday nights with karaoke rock.

Friendly atmosphere, nice old pub,
Meals were reasonably priced, was not impressed with the fish that came with "fish, chips, and salad"

Food was ok and cheap but that's the only good point about this pub. Took longer to get a beer than to cook the meal, even though there were only 3-4 people in the bar! Publican wandering around grumping loudly about something. Bar stank of stale smoke. Won't be back.

Choice of menu , Asian and pub.

A very enjoyable 3 days spent here, right in the main street of Laidley.
The Staff were amazing.
Two men drinking a schooner each offered to helped carry my luggage from the car to the Stairs. Then Staff carried my bags up the stairs to my room. I did appreciate the kindness of the Public & Staff. (I am of the older generation.)
The room had Aircon for warmth, T.V. sink, fridge & wardrobe. Also available in another area was a microwave stove, electric jug & toaster available for use. All for $50.00 per night.

Always a pleasure visiting the Exchange Hotel here in Laidley as all the staff make you feel welcome to make your stay enjoyable.
As an addition, if you feel like a meal at any time, the kitchen always provides a variety of great meals served promptly and extremely delicious.
I am proud to recommend the
