What a great Christmas lunch! Nice seafood and good pork, ham, turkey and salads. Don't know how I managed the desert! Staff were very helpful especially when they have given up their own Christmas Day. Well done FGT. We will be back next year

We thoroughly enjoyed our Birthday Celebrations at FGT. Our generous seafood meals were delicious Lisa greeted us on arrival and the service and ambiance was so special we had a great time. Now we need to book for Mothers Day!! Thanks Lisa and Staff, we are fortunate to have you for our neighborhood tavern. 🙏

Went to concert on sat 20/1, was an awesome night, well organised and staff & tavern seemed to have handled everything really well. I would attend another live music event if they do them. We need this locally, live music!!!

We decided to try the Ferny Grove Tavern for a meal as it was my daughters 17th birthday. I've not been in the pub for a few years to eat and I must say we were all very pleased with the attitude of the service staff wether they be working behind the bar or serving our food. The meal itself was lovely, with the chicken parmy being one of the best I've had. My wife had the lamb cutlets which were the chefs special and my daughter had the barramundi which she described as delightful. Atmosphere was a little flat and that may be down to us arriving early at 5pm but the staff made up for that with some good chit chat. The tables and cutlery etc were spotless and you order the food at the bar.
The pub side of the Tavern is nice and spacious with a pokies area. All in all a great evening and well worth the visit. Cheers.

We could not be happier with the delicious lunch we had at the FGT. The steak, pork ribs, hot dog and sticky date pudding were first rate. Mel the chef brought out the meals and ensured everything was top notch! Well done Mel and her team, we'll be back.

We arrived at a full bistro but they still managed to squeeze in two seats for us. Meals arrived promptly and were amongst the best I've tasted. I had an apprentice special. Beef cheek, curried Mash, brocollini, red wine just. Just wow. Mouth watering. The atmosphere can never beat the old tavern, hence only 4 stars, but it was quiet despite the business.

VERY big disappointment. Came out tonight for a special occasion.
Ordered a nice expensive steak for $42? (med rare), and got a well done, nigh unedible piece of meat.
Nobody bothered to check how our meals were, and when the manager came over after I covered my plate i was offered garlic bread...
Big ups to the bartender and waitress. They were lovely.

The team and managers were incredibly hospitable and very helpful for my mother’s 80th Birthday Party. They provided space and went above and beyond to ensure a very smooth event.

The meal I had was generous hot and tasty. Kids meals were eaten quickly. Staff are great.

The food was amazing, absolutely rate the pies and stakes.
Paula did an exceptional job on the ice creams, our children said they're the best they've had.

The current meal special of Red Wine Braised Beef Cheek is absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. 100% recommended!

Perfect. Peaceful. You can enjoy the atmosphere but still have a conversation at your table without being crowded or drowned out by other tables. Recommend the Steak and Guinness Pie and the Lamb Rissoles. This is our regular place. Maybe I shouldn't have done this view. We should keep this place secret, lol.

In all my years of going to taverns, I have to say that the ferny tavern is the single best tavern I've ever been to. The atmosphere is fantastic and the overall service (especially from Fin, Sophia, and Dan) was absolutely incredible, 100% would recommend to anyone in the area.

From the coffee till the food… everything is mouthwatering and the desserts are divine too!

Best venue for food, people, atmosphere and entertainment! It’s my all the time to go place! I have literally stopped cooking! Well done Ferny Tavern! Tried many places but Ferny Tavern is definitely no 1 in Brisbane! I just cannot stop myself from going there😊

Friday night dinner was fantastic. All meal portions were great, and ice cream came with the kids' meal.
Must say the staff made it a solid 5 stars, too.
At least half of the dining area, you're able to see the kids' play area.

Food fantastic! What makes this place so fabulous is the food coupled with the wonderful hard working staff who serve you with magnificent smiles and nothing is too much trouble. Love it and will be visiting regularly.

Family of 5. Meals were tasty and well cooked and decent value. Very attentive service. Very kind to kids. Came on Monday - quiet. Play area better for younger kids.

Dropped into FGT last Thursday for lunch. Must say that the food and staff made our day. Warm reception was excellent, had a senior’s meal and it came with a free desert & cappuccino for seniors.

Better than the Samford Hotel. We happened to come here twice in a short period of time because my dad is visiting from overseas and he likes eating out.
It's got a pretty good kids room, and seating next to it. The menu is pretty good, prices are decent. We'd come back if we didn't feel like cooking.

A great selection of beer & cider! An excellent tab & delicious calamari & chips for $15.00! A fantastic music venue for dancing to a band!!! Very friendly staff who recommended the Months card which give you 5% off any purchase!
