We visited the Finsbury hotel over the new year break - I was so impressed! Our room wasn’t huge, but was absolutely big enough to squeeze in a portacot! Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and the restaurant down stairs was delicious! Cannot fault the staff or the venue! I can, however, fault the other residents. We found on more than one occasion that the halls often stunk of marijuana, at one point it was so pungent that when I opened our door the smell filled our whole room - not the environment I want to have my 4.5 month old son in! Aside from this detail, I am honestly so impressed with the hotel and its staff! Manager was absolutely lovely and so accommodating, allowing us early check in and helping out with room shuffles when needed!

Went to the ‘New’ Finsbury Hotel for a meal and was very pleasantly surprised. The new decor is very nice and the relaxed atmosphere is quite welcoming. Service was first class with very friendly efficient staff. The meals were all very nice and served promptly. we had an assortment of Battered fish, nicely cooked steak, the traditional Parmi and a delicious Angus Burger. All served with large chips. The salad bar was also available with a small array of fresh salads and bread rolls.

Went for dinner last Monday with friends from work. Staff were friendly and pricing was fair, but some of the worst food I’ve had. Everyone at the table was pretty disappointed with the food. Schnitzels were over cooked, flavourless calamari and garlic prawns without any hint of garlic were some of the main complaints. The carpets are also incredibly sticky and desperately need a shampoo.

Visited the Finsbury hotel for the first time the other day. Leeanne was amazing and made sure we were well looked after her service as always was second to none. The renovations are fantastic! I couldn't believe how big this hotel was. We will be back again. Thank you to leeanne and the team.

This hotel has been recently renovated. Not an area where we would normally stay but due to a family function we wanted something close. We were more than pleasantly surprised! The general hotel area had a great atmosphere. Our room was only small, but had everything we needed and I have to say a very comfortable bed. We received a small breakfast pack on arrival. All Staff were really lovely I would definately stay in this hotel again.

The meal my wife and I had last Friday lunch was a pork chop over sweat potatoes and some type of sauce . It would have had to been the best pork chop and other that I have had . Hats off to the kitchen staff. Only thing not upto scratch was the wait length as there was only 10 people in there for lunch and we had to wait 5mins. The food made it worth it..

Stayed at the Accommodation for a night with family (Hubby and Bub). The room was good but tiny. Clean but could be cleaner as found chocolate wrappers under my bed. Was accommodated during busy times.
The bathroom was clean and spacious. supply of running hot and cold water. The lobby was well lit and welcoming.
Great Location. Closer to all the ammenities. Near public transport.
Did not try food.

Really nice to come and relax after work. Nice atmosphere, tailored more towards those that enjoy a cheeky bet and some pokies. Other than that, fresh beers and snacks is always a plus.

My partner & I enjoyed our stay here, it was very close to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and was very convenient for us. The staff were more than accommodating and understanding of our situation at the time and supported us anyway possible.
The room was very clean and tidy, I was surprised with the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower and water pressure. & the bed was incredibly comfortable and easy to sleep on after a long day at the hospital.
Would absolutely stay here again 😊

Lovely venue, fresh salad bar, tough as nails Angus beef schnitzel, the food waitress was no help, no offer of getting another beef cooked tenderly. Nice Coopers beer battered fish, crispy chips. Bar staff very pleasant and helpful. Defiantly would visit again. Visited Saturday 18th August 2018

Lovely done up venue.
Limited menu.
Staff very friendly, we think our food got forgotten. Staff checked back with us a couple times.
This was on quite a busy night.
Still enjoyed our visit.

Lovely clean atmosphere. Cheap food. We got steaks for $13 and unlimited salad bar. Amazing. Recommend this place to everyone. Also tonnes of drink selection and a big screen to watch the fight.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Finsbury Hotel during my visit to Adelaide, and I couldn't have been more impressed. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, which is a top priority for me when choosing accommodation. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless, and it truly made for a comfortable stay.

I recently had a short stay here, and was very happy with the accommodation.
The room was clean and my bed was very comfortable.
The venue manager Lee-Anne was very friendly and happy to help with any request.
It’s a shame the Bistro was closed though.

I put on a function here for my sister in laws 21st last night and even though there were people that stupidly brought there own alcohol in and was quite rude to the event coordinator she still continued to serve drinks but stopped the shots because the people couldn't listen to the rules. If I was her I personally would of shut the whole thing down, but she continued to allow us to have the party and drink. She did a great job and the event turned out very good. Me as the host of the event am very happy with the service. Thankyou Amanda

Initially I wasn't happy as the only vegan meal on the menu wasn't available but the manager was very accommodating to me by requesting the chef to specially prepare me a vegan stir fry with rice, and even gave a $5 refund for the inconvenience. I enjoyed my meal as it was tasty and healthy. Five stars would probably be given if there were more vegan meals available.

Indifferent service from some of the male staff members behind the bar. The female staff members always give friendly greetings and are very keen to serve behind the bar. They have UFC and very cheap imperial pints specials every month but there is still no bistro available. I have upgraded my review to 3/5 stars because of the very cheap beer and the UFC live on the big tv screens which is great to enjoy.

I booked a room at this suburban hotel chain as it was located a minute away from where I needed to be.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised.
The room and bathroom was clean, cool and huge.
The meals we had in the restaurant and room service were delicious and well presented and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Having tried a few different accommodation options recently while visiting Adelaide, CBD fancy chain properties, air b&b's and boutique hotels, this place ticked all the right boxes.

Got keno tickets and lotto tickets checked there so it I'd a fully covered establishment of course played the pokies, won 1500, come back the next day lost 500.. it's how it is when ya bet on things you . Can't control...!

Didn't stay there. My social club went there for a fringe show. All the staff were very helpful and polite Nothing was too much trouble. The venue manager was great to work with and catered for us.

Business trip visiting clients north and south of Adelaide so this position made travel easy with not too much traffic. Rooms had been renovated and were quite good, but smelt due to lack of fresh air. Restaurant and bar being renovated at time and limited choice of restaurants in the area. Price was good to compensate (partially). Definitely not a tourist area.

beautiful comfortable rooms..beautiful and comfortable double bed..clean to perfection..coffee.tea ..in room available...staff where courteous..helpful and ..and friendly beyond expectations..I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel/motel to all

Bar staff members very polite and friendly service, especially Soraya she is very friendly and respectful to everyone and always asking patrons if they want a coffee or something and when you say Thank you too her she always says your very welcome with a great smile keep up the good work The Finsbury Hotel Staff
