We were in Toowoomba for 2 nights last week and decided to eat here as I am celiac I did my research and found that Fitzy's was a safe place for me to eat with separate fryers for people like me. The food was delicious and good quality ( first time since diagnosed that I was able to enjoy a crumbed chicken parmy with all the trimmings) 🐔 😋 the rest of my family also enjoyed their food.. When we visit Toowoomba this is our go to restaurant. You must book though to avoid missing out.

Went on a quiet night, but thoughly enjoyed the evening. Excellent food and service, reasonably priced. I really enjoyed my food and evening, and was pleasantly surprised at the bill. (Don't put up your prices because I said that - it was part of the very good overall experience, and appreciated)

We enjoyed dinner here once we finally were able to order. We had friends book and reserve seating at approx. 630pm and await our flight to arrive into Toowoomba. Understanding the kitchen was closing at 830pm we were worried about pushing time. Whilst the location had a great vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful, we were a little disappointed at the fact that we were told we could not order our meal until 750pm. We made known our concern about the timing be so close to kitchen closing but they were adamant that they had other tables to serve that had larger crowds so the 6 of us had to wait. Could not even grab an entree to push through til dinner. Never had this situation before at a venue - quite odd. This is why I am taking 1 star off, based on this experience only. I am sure based on other aspects of our visit this location is a place to visit.

We decided to celebrate at Fitzys for my daughters 7th birthday as she has recently been diagnosed as a coeliac. She was so impressed at the number of menu options safe enough for her to eat. The staff went above and beyond to assist with the cake and any other requests we had. Amazing service- thank you!

Service (not the fault of the wait staff) was very slow. The spring rolls, obviously out of a packet were substandard. However our main course of steak for my husband and chicken parmigiana for me were superb and well worth the wait.

Parmi was ok, albeit a bit on the small side for $30 and not goldened under the grill as it should be, but ok nonetheless. Calamari was good. 3 Stars isn't negative it's just 'average', 'fair', or 'ok'.

Love the great food and service here. Extremely allergy friendly and happy to accommodate. The portions are an excellent size and the staff couldn't be better. This is definitely our new favourite place in Toowoomba for lunch or dinner.

Lovely friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our dining experience great. Food was amazing, zero complaints from our large group. Wonderful selection of Gluten free food, so nice to have a variety of options! Will definitely be back.

Look ive been there once or twice however, Thursday night (my birthday 🥳) I shouted my shelf a penfolds an eye fillet.
Toowoomba does great steaks bit this time!
This time it melted in my mouth 😳

I visited Fitzy's Today for Lunch
It's the first time I've been here
I chose the Carrara Wagyu Rump Cap 250gm
Grainfed sourced from Kilcoy
MB sourced 4-5 spiced with Roast Potatoes in a Chimichurri Sauce
Cooked Well done.
It was my first time having Chimichurri
Sauce and holy hell my mouth was on fire 🔥 however I enjoyed it
Wagyu beef was fresh &tasty
Potatoes were crunchy and perfect
Staff were friendly

It is always hard to find a genuine gluten free menu with lots of options, but this was by far the best restaurant we have found for people who are coeliac. We were blown away by the fact that almost all of the menu was either GF or GFO. My wife had a very happy birthday thanks to all at FITZY’s. It is now more that 24 hrs since we dined with you guys and my wife is still feeling on top of the world, thank you Fitzys.

Incredible Sunday night at the pub.
Staff were really friendly, warm and welcoming.
Food was the real highlight. One of the best steaks I have had in a really long time. Wife had the fish, equally amazing.
Even looked after our doggo with iced water and lots of cuddles from the staff.
Could not have asked for a better pub for a Sunday night meal.

I have been coming to Fitzy's for 21 years and have NEVER had a bad meal. The staff always exceed my expectations and are genuinely lovely people. They have a wide range of dietary meals and nothing is too much trouble - absolute professionals. Ingrid, Jen and Jimmy are brilliant so thanks for your hospitality!!! Highly recommend as the best place in Toowoomba for a meal and a cold drink.

Honestly the most perfect spot in town. The food, music and staff are incredible. This venue is your go to for a family dinner, drinks with mates or a special occasion. I can’t recommend Fitzy’s Toowoomba enough. An incredible local, family owned business. 🤌🏼✨

Great food! Friendly service & beautiful atmosphere, lots of different spaces to enjoy!
Would have liked to have tried the oysters for the Friday night special, but it said they weren't available online...then we saw the opposite table ordered them, so that was abit annoying.
We enjoyed our meal though & the circular seating was lovely, didn't feel like we were on top of everyone.

Great atmospheric pub. Table service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Drink choice was excellent. All three meals at our table were presented beautifully and tasted even better. A step up from your average pub meals.

Food was rly good. Bartender with long black hair and a beard was extremely rude completely ruined our group of 15 people’s experience by constantly staring and being rude when asking for drinks. Not cool mate. Also filled up a drink halfway and was rude when asked to top it up. Acted way, WAY above his pay grade. Would recommend food, not the bar experience AT ALL.

Food was expensive for the small amount that you got and while it was ok, price for performance did not align at all. I would say there are much better places to go first. The staff were all very lovely though

Food & service were outstanding! Restaurant was very busy so meals came out a bit slow however our waitress updating us on how long before our meals would be ready so it was fine.

Fitzy's Toowoomba has a really welcoming atmosphere. I particularly love the upside-down lamps for lighting. The food was fabulous. One person at our group stated it was the best parmie she has had for a long time, and my calamari was cooked beautifully. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Overall, we had a great night.

Enjoy coming here but can get over run but the heavy drinkers and bad behaviour. Food is excellent but check the menu as different locations have different food options. Service usually decent but can get very busy. Wait on food during busy times can take a bit.

Dry martini was excellent l don't know the name of the person who came over to our table to engage and find out how I would like in great detail. I would say that it easily be the best I have ever experienced, every sip was a delight, ha which I kept commenting on to my husband.
I was really impressed with the wait staff both were very well trained in all manner of vocation. The first was also genuinely warm and conscientious and the second was also very good.
Salad and vegetables were both on point and between the chicken parmigiana and the rib eye fillet I would say my choice is the latter. I was impressed with how well to my liking it was cooked. I prefer my steak well done to medium not showing much pink. It was still really tender and the bit of fat and sinus was very tasty. Best steak I have had in a long time cooked this way. Often if you order a steak just off well done other places you get a steak cremated on the outside.
Fitzy's you definitely know what you are doing 😊

Delicious steak! I got the Beef Black City Rump 300g steak and it was so juicy and perfectly cooked. The chips (fries) were also well-seasoned and a wonderful texture. I chose the mushroom sauce to go with the steak, but ultimately I didn’t really need it on the steak so I ended up just dipping the chips into the sauce.
The atmosphere was a bit loud with the music, it made it a bit hard to hear the conversation at my own table.

Cocktails were outstanding! Restaurant staff were brilliant, informative and friendly. Food was good though the menu was quite basic. Atmosphere was somewhat lacking.

Best Pub in Toowoomba . Unassuming from outside but inside a smaller Irish looking bar at front serving a large selection of Craft beer, and out back a very impressive bar & eating area. Prices are reasonable, with staff being very helpful and friendly. We would definitely be back & can recommend a visit.

Being a chef it is really hard to go out and enjoy a meal....we seem pickier than most lol. I have no complaint about my meal here at fitzys! Everything was hot and fresh, all came out together and was absolutely delicious! We will be back thankyou!
