Your new badge or lucky local draw is a joke . Your holding it at a time most locals are leaving. The 7 o'clock badge draw went for yrs and the place was packed for it every week it almost 7 now and the place has about 25 people most of them not locals .

This pub used to be legendary 10+ years ago. Especially looking back to 20+ years ago. Now it’s dead & still has the same old people there. Requires renovations and expansions to the roof. Maybe a rooftop bar? Yes yes we know about the noise restrictions. But there are work arounds. Metro is coming too and this could quickly grow.

This pub is easily a leading contender for the worst pub in NSW. No wonder why it is always empty.
If you want to give away all your money and time go to this pub and you will certainly be satisfied very quickly.
Don't go there to play machines. Possibly one of the worst places in Sydney to win at. Very poor returns.
I am very sure that the RTP of their machines is bordering on being illegal.
Now I appreciate & understand why I lived in Five Dock for a number of years, yet I never went to this local pub not even once during that time.

The VB on tap was the best l had in years was going down very well,nice and sweet.

The pub and bottleshop really took a hit after COVID. Customer service went downhill, and the gaming area was a letdown. It's a shame, but maybe it's time for them to consider shutting down.

Really, really friendly staff. Ambiance is sports bar but too open and there's not really any viable option or place to have a cosy chat over a beer.

Really poor service by the bartender - she was frowning and grunting to take my order as she couldn’t hear properly over the voice of other patrons. Was a pretty hot headed woman.

Poor service with security being racist on serving customers! Been coming here weekly but definitely not again.19/4. After sport we came here to have few drinks but they seem more keen on pokey customers

Once ago maybe this hotel had a potential , but today is too far away from it. Stone age fit out , really bad designed interior . But what I really don't understand is how can you keep a manager of yours in the bottle shop. Everytime We visit the place Ash is so arrogant,rude and doesn't even greet us. Place looks like a black mess. We even saw real rats run past the wines section. Nothing else to say

Often come for a beer after Saturday sport with the boys. Friendly bar staff, often a free hot dog or similar at the bar, but if you order food it's bloody slow. 45 mins for some chips, but they did give some extra as freebies to make up for it.

Many time visitor. Since it has had a facelift, it looks lovely , bright and airy. Most recent visit was last week.
Atmosphere great , staff wonderful. Great to be able to visit since lockdown.

Manners go a long way in retail. Teach your staff how to say Thank you Asian worker.

Made the mistake of thinking this was an old school nice pub with meals. Walked in via the "VIP lounge" entry aka Pokies room and it smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Walked through to the bar,.looking for a bistro, only to be told there wasnt one..A dozen old men drinking in the seedy bar area with tall tables and stools only. It had the atmosphere and patrons of a TAB outlet. Never again. Had a lovely meal at the RSL instead.

I walked past this pub and decided to stop for a pint. As soon as I opened the door I noticed a group of older white men were staring at me walking in, a bit weird but whatever. The staff were friendly enough, the pint was nice and cold but the pub itself was quite... Sad? Not desperate to come back.

It was absolutely dead on the three evenings I went in there mid-week.
Aside from that there is nothing wrong with it. A standard big Aussie pub with an atmosphere like the Moon.

It really does need an update and reno with great potential to create an Inner West - Surry Hills type steakhouse pub and bistro. I enjoy the occasional beer there to unwind.

It is a mediocre normal pub, with no seats outside though. We, a few ladies, went there one weekday afternoon and it was full of old guys looking at us there, made us a bit uncomfortable tbh, we didn’t order food just some drinks wasn’t bad.

great place, was like the feel of old, friendy staff and guess what, they had fish and chips as a bar snack which put many main meals in other venues and it was free..

Friendly staff and cold beer and it's all down hill from there. This place has as much atmosphere as a nursing home. No music, no big TVs to watch sport and no bistro! If you get hungry all you have to chose from is a vending machine or pies from a oven you find in a dodgy servo. I really hope they do this place up cause it has so much potential

Extremely disappointing to say the least!
It’s been a long while since I visited this pub and unfortunately it will be the last time I do.
The place is pretty grubby, they may be undergoing renovations, I’m not sure but in general it was pretty grubby looking
The bar person was not hospitable at all, in fact I would go as far as saying he was pretty rude.
It appeared that he was either having a bad day, doesn’t like his job or just doesn’t like people. Not a great attitude for a job hospitality.
He was not friendly or engaging what so ever!
Staff are the key to any successful business and unfortunately in this case that is what has led to this poor review!
My friends and I certainly won’t be going back or recommending this place.
You need to pick up your game!
