Worst grilled fish and chips in Australia. Fish was hard and tough, would not order this again. The ribs were ok, better than the fish. Quick service though. Fish and Chips $21, Ribs $41

We went there last Sunday night and it was quite unpleasant experience. Your system of service is just not working for customers. We came to a very long queue at the counter and it seemed that the place was quite busy. One person when to find a table and had to sit there so we have a place to eat our dinner. I had to stand in the queue on my own for 15 minutes or so. It felt like we are somewhere at the road house in the middle of nowhere. Qualify of meals was less than average. My Mediterranean salad consisted mostly of big chunks of red onion. Who wants to have an onion breath at a public place?

We have visited Flinders Bar & Grill many years ago when we still visited Cairns every alternate year.
Finally coming back after all these years, it’s good to see some things don’t chance and stay as good as they were many years ago. Sure prices have gone up but they have gone up everywhere.
We had an early dinner after a visit to the wildlife dome, we were welcomed by a very friendly waitress who took us to a table that was easy for my wife to access with her mobility scooter. Ordering was a breeze and the food was in no time on the table - fantastic.
Quality is still the same, enjoyable, enough and tasty. Staff stayed friendly throughout our visit, which is not always the case in other establishments - you have ordered and paid so you not important anymore.

We had just got in to Cairns and were looking for a quick easy lunch. We were close to Wildlife Dome, so opted to eat close. We saw this place and decided to try it. We got the fried fish sampler. It came with 4 or 5 different fish including calamari. Calamari was really good. It was a perfect portion for 2 people to share. They also had free wifi, you just had to ask the cashier for a receipt with a certain number on it, and you got free wifi for 60-90 minutes. I would go back here again.

We had downloaded a discount voucher so our meals were very cheap! The food was typical of hotel/pub type food. We were happy with our meals, good value for money. The staff were all friendly and hospitable. We ate here twice in fact during our stay in Cairns - (2017) This restaurant is inside of the casino so if you like to play on the pokies a bit it makes for a good night out!

They run out of roast pork and instead of informing us after ordering they gave us a different roast. When we complained there was no response. Never eat there again

Staff polite.
However - steak took ridiculous time to cook... patrons around us served after us, eating before us, steaks cold, 'beer battered chips' not beer battered & cold and taste like they were reheated from today.
Worst meal I've had in years. Seriously not cheap but would have done better on a maccas meal deal.

Service was lovely & friendly however the food not so much. Partner ordered Chicken schnitzel was overly small & thin and dry. Mushroom gravy definitely below average.
I ordered the rump steak & mash and market vegetables. Vegetables had little to no flavour. The steak had loads of gristle & chewy and the taste almost made me spew & had to spit it out. Utterly disappointed.

Ordered grilled fish, was overcooked and terrible.
Showed chef, he asked if I wanted it remade. I declined as I had no faith in him getting it right.
He took the dish and threw it in the bin.
No refund offered.
Money wasted.

Nah! Food was nicely presented but unfortunately flavour was lacking. We had the Butter Chicken and the Beef Chilli Loaded Fries and didn’t bother to finish. Staff were really friendly though.

Located within the gaming section of the casino. Bistro style where you pay and display a number at your table. Reasonable selection of food however very reasonably priced. The food was cooked well. Good if your tired of overpaying for poor quality food on the strip. I had soft shell crabs with asian slaw for $20

Let's keep it real, this is an eatery inside a regional city sized casino. The food is reasonable, and the prices are as expected. Portion sizes are small compared to most Cairns venues. I hope for a better cooked steak on my next visit (always willing to give a second chance). There is no real ambience to speak of, but it wasn't expected really given its location inside of a casino. The dining hall serves a purpose and it does so adequately. It was clean, and the staff were friendly.

It's like, a very british pub restaurant. Food was delicious, service was great. (friendly waitress, warm and inviting) Meal was enjoyable. Nachos and "fish and chips" make me happy. ※This Bar is best, place to go for Nachos and "fish and chips", however.

I generally don't eat here as it wasn't very nice in the past. but today I really enjoyed the pulled pork Nachos menu is great now

I am a vegan and I am playing a gig at the casino. I couldn’t order anything on the menu because nothing was vegan, which is fine, so I just ordered the steamed vegetables side dish and specified no butter or dairy - for obvious reasons. I finished the meal and noticed butter in the bottom of the bowl. I asked them if they’d put butter in my food. They presented me with a new bowl saying this was now dairy free. Bit late people. Super disappointed. I couldn’t have been more clear. I am intolerant to dairy but if I had a real allergy, this could be far more serious. It’s just not good enough.

Greeter was lovely and welcoming. Service however was horrible. Staff did not care or take pride in what they were serving or doing. Had better service in a school or hospital cafeteria. The staff could not even do the simplest thing which was bring all main meals to table together at the same time or to smile when approaching table. MOST Staff were not welcoming and were in fact rude when we asked where the missing main meal was as 3 members of our party received their meal and the forth did not. 15 minutes went by and nothing arrived the forth person in our party still did not receive his food and had to watch us pick through our inedible food. We Ordered a wagyu double burger. Burger patties were Burnt to the point where someone could have used them as hockey pucks. The Steamed veggies which accompanied the sirloin steaks were undercooked / bordering raw, with no seasoning not even a basic salt or pepper The Steaks were as tough as leather. A tiger would have had trouble chewing that meat. It was evident that the cook did not rest the meat before serving. The presentation of this dish was unappealing and resembled school cafeteria food. The side order of chips ordered were not crispy they were undercooked The Best part of our meals were the drinks. McDonald’s fast food tastes better than what we ate at this bar and grill. Could not recommend anything. Worst meal I ever had in Cairns. A true disappointment. We actually left most of the food on the plate and left. Now I know why they take payment before food arrives as most people would refuse to pay for the slop they call food.

Great Service, Great Atmosphere. We love the Burger, Parmi. But the best tasting fish and chips. Love it there !

Food was delicious, the dressing on the side salad is amazing. Service was great!! Only thing I could fault was minor and that was that I ordered my steak medium and it came medium/well, to well done but it was still very tender and enjoyable. We also had the Chimichangas and they were absolutely divine!! Great place for a meal, highly recommend

Food can be a bit hit and miss, l had grilled fish (last time there), and my husband had battered. He said his was good. Mine was dry. The Thai Salad is great. As for atmosphere nothing special.

Eaten a few times here on various trips to Cairns. Great pub style food at reasonable prices.
This recent trip in June 2022 been 2 times and enjoyed a rump steak and burger. Very tasty.
Previous visits I had the Steak sandwich which is the best pick off the menu. Also had steak and Guinness pie which was good.

Delightful, Fresh & Tasty! We’ve eaten here quite a few times as we’re new visitors to Cairns & I must say, the food is simply wonderful! We’ve tried a different item each time & were delighted by the size, price & taste! Thanks Guys :) Well Done and Yum!!!

Came here whilst on holidays with the family, got 3 meals. Everything was very average and below the usual pub meal standard. Cheapest chips you can buy, mains were unremarkable. Reasonably priced though.

After recently stayed in Cairns in July, was recommended this place by one of the staff on the floor. So we decided to check it out. Good meals with a reasonable variety to choose from. Reasonably friendly staff. Place was not massive but could find a table but can get quite busy. Meal was enjoyable.
