What a gem this little pub turned out to be. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, with great service, the food was ok for the price, could've been better. But on the whole a really enjoyable experience. Love this little pub..am definitely going back.

Went to karaoke ...dropped in on way home. Was not too bad...little crowd but very good constantly singing. Pub staff behind bar all kiwis most obliging and most friendly....very hospitable...the guy I think Louie awesome song choice and great singing 👍🏻👌will go again

We arrived from a flight at 8:30pm to check into the hotel across the street (Bexley Hotel) and were redirected to the Forest Inn to check in. The manager was incredibly rude to us and did not accept our Expedia booking. We were sat there trying to explain our booking was valid for over an hour and a half with out suitcases in the bar area. In the end we had to pay $250 out of pocket on top of the already paid Expedia booking just to have a room for the night. The room was NOT worth nearly that much. The manager on staff that night at the Forest Inn was incredibly rude, he spoke over us, talked down to us and even made me wait for him to finish a cigarette before speaking to me. Do not recommend this place or the Bexley Motel.

This afternoon I was verbally attacked and assaulted by the management and staff. I will not tolerate being called terrible names and insulted. This is a terrible place and I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. Very disappointed

The meals are much more appetizing. The food I crave is chicken tacos, pizza, and the best buttermilk chicken schnitzel! Lovely staffs.

The food at the bistro is worth every dollar. They also have different events during the week including karaoke 🎤 the place is extremely clean with friendly bar staff.
I've been to alot of different hotels and the Forest inn hotel is the best place for a night out with friends.

Thank you for allowing us to celebrate our joint birthday at your venue hall. Management was very helpful and everyone who ate thought the food was great. It’s a great site, convenient and plenty of parking on both sides. Memorable night was had.

Parked in the hotel car park only to be told off by lady staff member as I was walking across the road to meet my father and then head over for a drink. Maybe she should have asked first before rudely telling me I can’t park there..

nice and friendly environment and the staff are helpful. locals who drink here are just like family and everyone gets on well. it has been around for ages and for a small and friendly place that it is hope it will be around for a long time to come.

Many years past and only a few present.. Pokies suck, like legit not just bad luck, they dormant for decent wins of any stature.. lol, yeah sounds suss, otherwise pub is kicking, always has-been a late night special, open longer than most, makes the suburb of bexly worthy for even half an hour.

Love love the food! Amazing food. Great waitress, great chef, is always so friendly and kind. The food can't get better and the prices are fair. Highly recommended 👌

Looks large on the outside, but the pub area itself is disappointingly small. Most of the space is some function hall.
Zero atmosphere, the TAB makes up half of what’s left. The place is in dire need of a refresh, bare bones bistro, and not much to make you come back.

John is an absolute great guy! I stay regularly at the motel and he is very helpful and professional. A real asset to the pub. Great accommodation!

It's definitely an 'old man' pub that looks a little tired but the staff were super friendly and the food was not only very generous in terms of portion sizes but also really tasty.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Forest Inn. Tonight I ate lamb shanks served with peas and mash. It was delicious. I also had a really nice flat white coffee and stole a few chips from a friend which were also really good.

I like coming here the only problem is on their website they say open 10am on weekends! Got turned away! They need to update their website no offence!!!

Have been a regular for years now, usually on Friday night for karaoke. Friendliest staff. Clean and tidy, including the ladies. Love their meals. My favorite is their fish and chips

Goodpeople as in client crowd . No overcrowding. Friendly bar service . Food a small menu but good for the stomach.. A long night of entertainment with the karaoke.. Heaps of talented singers. Great relaxing atmosphere.

Dropped in after not visiting the pub for over 10 years - new staff and manager who has great interpersonal skills - service was excellent was made to feel very welcome- the Pizza was Devine as was the great beer special - definitely will come back .

Clean & fresh accommodation at the Bexley motel, cold beer, hot food at the Forrest Inn Hotel.
Great place for a commercial traveller. Plenty of off street car parking.
It's also close to the Airport. And central to Sydney.
I'm a commercial traveller, staying in all sorts of accommodation around the country, and I can highly recommend staying here.

Always a pleasure..outstanding new bar staff and pleasant vibe..tasty snacks offered and very decent raffle scores..well worth a visit..say hi to Eddie n Shez !! 🤗 new menu and upgrades to back bar whilst J.D and Millie most competently look after patrons out front..stay local and be pleasantly surprised..highly recommended
