We had a booking for 9 people. When we arrived we found we had been put into the function area with a very large group who were extremely loud and had kid's running around barefoot and screaming.
The entrees were nice but when the meals arrived the were what I would class as average and one was actually cold (they did go and reheat it for us).. menu is very limited if you don't eat onion. I think the chef has shares in an onion farm as the majority of food has onion.
The staff we spoke to all were polite and friendly.
I get the feeling the owners put profit over customer service as they try and cram as many people in as they can making it louder than the MCG on grand final day. They then charge premium prices and deliver average food.
I won't be back as I'd rather pay premium prices and get premium service. For what we paid we could of had a 5 star meal and been able to talk to each other without having to yell.

Was so over priced for a traditional parmi
. The menu in general was very expensive There were like 10 chips on the plate with our adult parmi meal and the salad was so average for the price we paid. $29 for main meal parmi.. so Disappointed.. as we go there alot after our walks along the river. Probably won't from now on. My son got the teenager parmi. He counted he had 9 chips. He's 13yrs old and was wanting another bowl of chips. But i wasn't paying for that. We love the place. But we just can't justify that amount of money for the quality of food. Kids room could be updated.. eg- open windows for fresh air. And more clean carpet.

Visited on Thursday - Steak Day - we had the Porterhouse & it was cooked to perfection & tasted great. Will definitely be going there, in the future 🔮.

Very poor food, usually have great experience here but tonight was not great.
Staff would not take ham of a parmi when we ordered until we asked for a manager.
All meals come out 5 mins after ordering so pre cooked for sure and it definitely showed in the quality.
Steak was terrible and garlic butter was just a slab of butter on the side ??
Rude staff and a very poor meal.
Won’t be back as every time I go there it has been getting worse

Very busy hotel for lunch service have to book for table. Indoor kids play area. Lift wasn't working, and disabled toilet didn't lock. The kids eating area is not ideal for those who use walking frames or wheelchairs. Too squashy, too noisy had to talk very loudly to be heard on your own table. Seafood platter not recommended very poor for the price you pay. Chips looked over cooked, dry, non appetising.

The staff member that took our order was extremely rude. When we came to the register to order she just stared at us and when we said hello she barked "what do you want".
We ordered an entree, 2 mains and 2 drinks. This all came to $119 and none of these dishes or drinks were worth it. $20 per drink that came in short glasses full to the brim with ice. We asked for one of the drinks to be in a tall glass, but it was served in a short glass anyway.
Garlic bread was extremely oily. My partner didn't finish his main of Nasi Goreng and I couldn't finish my main either due to the overpowering spice mixture that caked the chicken.

The Chinese lady with black hair was so rude, we made a booking online came in and she refused to serve us, when we handed our ids she gave dirty looks and said we are not aloud in when we where all 18, even though we just wanted to order food no alcohol so upset about this service. Do better

Surf and turf was great real nice steak with a char flavour. Parmi and cheesy garlic bread were nice ..
Lots of kids very family orientated was fine we had a booth. Could do with the QR order system as the bar line for food gets quite big.

Super fast, cheap pub meals. Was there on a Sunday - the entree almost beat me back to the table. Mains were quick after that. Food quality was 'above average' - nothing to complain about, but the Dessert platter was next level. Portions are large. Staff were friendly, helpful. Would 100% come back again.

Steak was great , good to have vegetarian and gluten free options too! Couple of meals a little slow to come out but definitely worth the wait! Desserts were great too! Loved the teenagers menu too, would of been good to have some Vegetarian kids/teens meals. Overall - great!

Restaurant quality meals done to perfection. This place set the benchmark for other pubs with a large menu to choose from and not just your regular pub fare. Top marks to the chef/kitchen staff/management. Prices reasonable for the quality.

My family, friends and I love meeting up here. Great food, atmosphere and amenities. Nothing is too much trouble. First class experience in a great location making it easily accessible for people to travel here.

Location Location Location It was beautiful morning and we walked from our home to this place, it is 06 km. The surrounding of this place is lush green, big park at the side, you can see lot of people with there pets and with children, hotel serves only lunch and dinner, we got to know this when we entered the property, that was our bad. But I recommend the owner to start a breakfast, no doubt it will run.

It was too noisy, it was too busy, some of the meals didn't quite hit the mark BUT the staff were unbelievably helpful, friendly and accommodating, the cocktails were fun and the menu was enormous and catered to everyone's dietary needs and that's enough for me to give a place another go (just maybe not at 12.30pm for lunch on a Saturday!! Haha!).

It’s an old hotel set amongst some interesting regional features like the dog park , the old bridge across the river and not far from the historic paper mills.
The pub itself offers ample dining with expansive outdoor dining under marquees.
The food servings are generous and average around $25-$30 per meal. The meal quality was reflected in the price.
Service staff are friendly and prompt in our instance and we wouldn’t hesitate to dine here again .
Bookings are recommended ...and enquire if your reservation is in the hotel or the marquee as the marquee may be a bit cold on a cool evening.
If you are after a relaxed , family friendly environment then this place will tick a few boxes for some.

Highly recommend the Fyansford Hotel for functions and meals.
Nicole the function manger was so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too hard. She helped me create a beautiful function for my daughter’s baptism in the Riverside room, which generously fit our 55 people. It has a nice view with the large windows looking out plus a kids play room which is right next door also with windows so you can keep an eye on your little ones.
The meals were reasonably priced, a large selection with so much to choose from and cooked and tasted amazing.
We will definitely be going back!
Highly recommend Nicole, as I said she was amazing and so helpful and the staff were all very nice on the day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely evening celebrating my mum’s 80th Birthday and Mother’s Day @ fyansford hotel. Staff were attentive , food was great and the family had wonderful time. Thanks for making it a special occasion for the family.

Great pub! I rate though with the influx of new customers from the new Fyansford community and the never to built precinct you should build your outdoor seating overlooking the park rather than smack bam on the busy road. Your business would 10xfold particularly for pet owners getting lunch etc.

Great food with a variety of options from Australian, Indonesian, Chinese and sea food. The barramundi is excellent.
Staff very friendly.

Great food, great customer service in pleasant environment.
Food at a higher level than your usual hotel meals.
Don't give it a miss if you happent to be by and want to choose from a variety of Australian traditional dishes.

Food was great, staff are great, good place to eat if you have kids with you.
Only downside, it was quite busy and felt a little cramped. They tried to jam too many people on the tables

Food is always good and plentiful however, once plated there is no attentiveness from staff. Would be nice to have them clear used dishes and check on tables etc. If wanting a quiet meal, dinner here is not for you as often children are running between tables, screaming and the volume can be deafening.

Fantastic venue with an extensive menu to cater for all tastes.
First time I have seen a menu with "teenage meals" and kids meals.
These were fantastic for our family with 4 kids of all ages. 😊 $10 kids meals were great value.
The selection of main meals was great and everyone from our large group enjoyed our meals. Fast and friendly service. A playground to entain the little kids. A fantastic venue for a night out with the family. 😊
