What a wonderful experience we had at Gateway Hotel buffet! We held a private function for a birthday and the staff was very welcoming and very accommodating. With a myriad of food choices, several guests had only good compliments to share. A very special mention to Gina who was serving at our event - Thank You, you have made our function very pleasant and stress-free. I highly recommend Gateway Hotel for private functions and casual meals as the food and service were top-notch! Thank You again for making our event positively memorable.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom room. Nice beds and well renovated bathrooms. The Bar Menu was really good. We tried Rump steak, chips and salad, and a Penne Chicken and mushroom pasta. It was as good as any pub food in Sydney. 10% off for people staying at the hotel.

We occasionally go out do dinner there a few times a year.
The staff are amazing and the variety/quality of meals are great.
It's a little overpriced but given the seating capacity and accommodating for disabled and those with mobility issues. It more than makes up for it.
I suggest booking for larger groups and for those with mobility issues as they can seat you closer to the buffet or around the edges of the dining area.

Went to the All you can eat on Sunday night, not extremely busy. Lovely range of foods hot and cold. Staff were terrific. Will definitely recommend and return.

Went for a feed great selection of any type of food that you can think of oh I thought it was great value for money at $25 ahead for seniors all you can eat

Very friendly staff, plenty of choices of delicious food. Large seating area and car park. Well worth the price, especially $25 feast for seniors.

The kids wanted buffet for lunch today and thanks to google we found Feast at the Gateway Hotel, Corio whilst on a getaway.
Tried to book online no availability until the evening. Pooled our luck with the old fashioned direct phone call, and told to come on down.
Very basic buffet menu, reminds me of my childhood buffet only no prawn cocktail!
Kids were happy, very happy! Pork crackling a super hit as was most of the hot servery.
Dessert bar took it next level for the 2 12yr old boys who thankfully still classed as kids (under 13!) Think self serve ice-cream, choc sauce, rocky road, sticky pudding, chantilly cream and that’s just the 1st visit!
Many of the dishes were left to run low which was a tad disappointing as did not complete the buffet visual effect. Had to ask for certain items which you really shouldn’t if not so busy.
Overall a nice vibe considering a Monday. Basketball was featuring on a big screen so kids chuffed! Kids even took a few minutes in the kids area.
Drinks are additional to the price but not at all an issue, good pricing.
Probably definitely only go with/for kids or large family group, but worth it!
We did not stay at the property or walk through, other than the restaurant.
The stories of all you can eat grow each time they retell their tale.

Staying at the Gateway Hotel in Corio, Geelong, Australia was an exceptional experience. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The services were excellent with attentive staff catering to every need. The location was ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed for a show. The room was okay, large but smelt of cigarettes, though. Bathrrom was nice too. Buffet wasn't great, most the roast meat was cold. I have to add, the staff were super nice and funny too.

One of the most delightful buffets that I have enjoyed.
Seniors $25.00
A very wide of Asian/ Australian meats, vegetables, salads, seafoods and desserts.
Plenty of seating/tables.
Reasonably priced drinks.
Pleasant staff who quickly clear
used plates, cuttlery etc.
No need to rush. Noise level is low.
Children welcome at reduced tarliff.
Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

I went as a family with 4 young children. The restaurant had plenty of room. The playground was awesome for the kids. With tables within view of the playground. The food was hot and fresh. Huge variety of foods. Would highly recommend booking. This is something you don't want to miss out on 👌

It was our stop over on our road trip.
Comfy, clean . And we ate at the hotel.

I don't know about the room's I've never stayed there . But the service l found was excellent. And the location is great as well. Food was delicious and we will be going back again.

I'd give this place a 4.5 / 5. Food is constantly being turned over. The buffet is set out to allow easy to different types of food. Will all the dishes clearly labled.
Very busy and seems to be a local favourite.

Hadn't been for a while. Thought it was the best it's ever been. Staff friendly & helpful. We have been 3 times in the last fortnight with our elderly social support groups.

Great beds, shower, wi-fi, and parking. All we usually look for in a motel. However, by booking direct we also appreciated some extras in addition to the great price which was well below the various search engine prices. These included discount at the adjacent hotel buffet, and a complimentary drink each. Well worth it. We found the buffet to be excellent and the staff even better. Well done to them, including the reception staff on arrival. Admittedly the facility is getting a tad old and in need of some refurbishment, but that is fairly reflected in the price and underway. Overall, Nightcap at Gateway Corio was hard to fault and we would stay there again.

Good quality food, on the higher side of pricing but the fish and chips is well worth it, melts in the mouth, also recommend not going Friday or Saturday, extremely busy

First time visitors, we were there for a quick Pokies play for the night. Being served by Leene, she was an excellent customer-focused individual. With always a smile presented and some jokes here and there, she made our night much more pleasant. Thank you for your service.

Didn't stay here. Just ate at the bistro - all you can eat. $40+ for adults, and around $27 for children 12 and under. Wide range of dishes: pasta, pizza, roast meats, Asian dishes, salad, seafood, and a wonderful dessert bar, complete with soft-serve ice-cream. Definitely worth going, at least once.

Came into the feast last night for an early Mother’s day celebration, we were greeted by Jacky and Jade, they were extremely friendly and professional. We had an amazing meal, the choices were endless.
The young girls on the floor assisting with clearing tables always had a smile on their face even under the pressure of a fully booked service.
We will be back… thoroughly enjoyable

Booked in for dinner, greeted by two staff at the desk. The older staff member made us feel that we were a nuisance. This was at the very start of the evening, so goodness knows what she would have been later when it got busy. The young girl who was also at the counter was very nice. It's a very busy all you can eat restaurant and it is managed very well, with a large variety of choices of food. Prices are reasonable, especially since some people go over the top. We enjoyed the overall experience, and would recommend the venue.

Avoid the Buffet like the Plague. Would Extraordinary Ordinary Tasteless, Crap food cooked without Love and devoid of any Cullinary Skills, enough to make a Billy Goat Puke, Honestly a drive through Take away experience at a Favourite fast food chain would have far more appeal and appreciation than the tinned tasteless ingredients on offer today at the agateway Feast Buffet!

As always, the staff are awesome, with great customer service. the manager on was very accommodating, giving us a table and bringing over an extra chair for our table.
the food was fresh when we got there, considering how busy they were .The chef was on to it, keeping the food rolling in. thanks for a great dining experience.

An, average buffet well priced for seniors. They don't read teh on line booking requests. And take forever to rectify

Absolutely fantastic quality food every time we go there! , usually all you can eat places don’t have good quality food but gateway does every time.
We really enjoy the whole experience, the staff are always so friendly and continuously service/clear tables .
We hadn’t been for a couple of years and were extremely impressed by how good it was when we went last weekend, all the food was so good (we tried everything) , we will definitely be returning monthly at least , as we did before covid lockdowns and we’re planning a couple of family dinners there.
Absolutely fantastic place for food and we definitely recommend!
