We recently had our Xmas Party here!
Could not fault the service, food and overall atmosphere.
Jelly our host and her assistant Tilly were so proactive and engaging and overall wonderful to deal with - our crew had the best time. So thank you for an awesome night.

We really love this place. It's a great venue and fun for all ages.
Food isn't too bad but they do tend to mix up meals and had trouble applying specials when we ordered.
The venue has arcade machines, ten pin bowling, indoor golf, a large slide, pool tables a bar and more.
Street parking can be difficult but they do have a rooftop carpark (it can be tricky to find).
We've been a few times and enjoyed ourselves each time. Great for parties and groups.

We love this place for a casual pop-in and a game of pool or puk. It's fun for the whole family with dine in options for dessert, ice cream, lunch or dinner plus there is a Lolly shop 🍭

We loved this place, the food was good and the service was even better. Natasha was super helpful and went above and beyond to help make our visit memorable.

We have a good experience every time we goto General Public. Reasonable prices, great food and drinks, good atmosphere and fun activities.
Last visit was early NYE, went bowling with the family, wasn't too busy, played some bowling and arcades, great way to finished the year.

We celebrate our son’s 18th bday at GP Frankston and it was a great venue. The food was delicious and quick service, the staff looking after us very well and they really make sure that we enjoying ourselves.
Ryan is the best and all the staff.
Definitely we are coming back.

We booked a group booking with General Public Frankston to do bowling! Ryan helped us sort the whole event out and was so helpful on the night and super easy to work with! We all had such a great time! We’re very grateful!

Something for everyone here. We spend most of our time in the arcade area . The kids love it. The giant slide is a massive hit too.

My partner, two friends and I were excited about eating here. I’m a vegetarian and have been for quite a while now. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza but got vegan chicken instead. The pizza came out with bacon. All good that’s a mistake so well I was waiting for my next pizza I ate a peice of “chicken” I thought was vegan until I tasted it then the other pizza came out and the chicken looked and tasted extremely different. I AM NOT HAPPY and want compensation.

I went here for bowling, which was a fun, good environment, I didn't get any food, so I can not comment on that.

Had a work function here and we had a brilliant time. Booked a package including bowling, arcade, drinks and food and it was a good per person price. We had a big variety of food (3 different pizzas, Sausage rolls, pies, chippies, burgers) and it was all delicious, especially the sliders were everyone's favourite. All the staff I had encountered was very nice. I got the same cocktail made by 3 different bartenders throughout the night and they all made them taste the exact same level of deliciousness which was great. One of the bartenders said it was the first time he had ever made the Special K, well he certainly did a great job! By the way the Special K is the best cocktail I've ever had anywhere, I love it!
I'm deducting one star because of 2 things, 1. around 9pm the kitchen and bar on the bottom floor had closed and staff started to bring in all the tables from the outside/started getting ready to close even though they're open till 11pm and we didn't feel welcome anymore, like they wanted the leftover people to leave so we headed down the road to STRIKE to continue having a good time.
Until then we did enjoy ourselves. I like this location better in regards of it having 2 floors and a slide but my 2nd issue is the parking outside the Frankston store is pretty much non existing.
Anyway, good place :)

Had a great time at General Public!
Food was really good and service was awesome.
Had a couple issues with some of the games though.
A couple of the Wangan MaxiTune cabs had gear shift issues and the StepManiaX machine was missing the support bar.
The taiko cabinet was in quite good shape (other than a single line through the screen)
Overall a pretty great first experience, will come back!

Great place to have a feed and drink while the youngsters run around amusing themselves!, a little on the noisy side but bearable, reasonably priced,we'll be back cause we didn't have time to see and do everything.

Only complaint was the carpark was hard to find compared to where it showed us on Google maps, but thats nothing to complain about really.

Great place for family or friends, I have not been in the pool area and have not used the new golf section. I've eaten and the food is good. The arcade is good but wish it was bigger. I don't enjoy the bowling as much. Not as big as strike lanes. I will still always go here with my family and friends though.

Good local venue to us everything is great except for the price of food. HOWEVER the food is of good quality our group had a bit of everything the fish is not frozen cooked fishes it appears to taste and be high quality fish. Games are well priced with deals and the bar downstairs is of great quality. Drinks on tap a bit average but acceptable and tenpin bowling is a great touch. We where there on a Monday and the atmosphere was nice I'd imagine on weekends it would be fairly busy. Staff is amazing and of great service. Clean and tidy toilets with baby facilities.

General Public is a new addition to the Frankston CBD and what a welcome breath of fresh air. Fully equipped bars, restaurants, café and gelato, ten pin bowling and donuts! I attended the ground level on a bustling Saturday night, plenty of staff were available to meet the demand. Beer options were a little limited, however there were plenty of other alcoholic options. The shufl boards were a hit, with staff available to explain the rules and prepare the boards for game play. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic location for events, birthday parties, kids and family. great all in one location although can be noisy if any children are sensitive to noise.

Easy to find, went Sunday dinner, easy to order from the table with QR code with fast service and kind staff. Great pricing with large portions feel like I definitely got my moneys worth for a great first experience. Bathrooms were clean with change table in them also. Lift, stairs and slide access gelato and sweet shop and lolly ship just inside the doors with seating. Plenty of photo opportunities, neon lights, heaps of arcade games I ordered a game card when I ordered our food which was a great and very helpful option. Bowling was great with an easy to use touch screen and bumpers can be turned on and off during play and for individual players. Everything was really clean and easy and good quality definitely come again.

Definitely a fun place to take the kids of all ages plus the adults too with bowling, golf, arcades and more on hand there's no reason for any boredom here. Staff are friendly and party was really well organised. The kids love the massive slide and the place is easy to get in and out of. Definitely recommend for a family outing or boys drinks!

A wonderful place for an evening of fun. It was a little bit noisy but there were so many different activities for all us to enjoy. Early teens to 60 years there something for us all to enjoy. Bowling, arcade games, food and more.

A one-stop-place for everyone. Great for families too. In the ground floor, there’s a bar/resto. Food tastes average and with fair serving size - just right for its price. We like their salt and pepper calamari. We don’t recommend their brisket pappardelle - tastes like a canned pasta which you can buy in supermarket. They have fair variety of beers and wines you can order. They have billiard tables too. In the first floor, there’s arcade, bowling and big slide for kids and young at heart. You have option to eat and have your drinks while bowling. Average bowling fee (one game) for family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) is $50. Don’t forget to wear closed toe shoes if you plan to bowl. Otherwise, they have bowling shoes for hire. Their arcade has unlimited play options ($15 for 30 mins and $25 for 60 mins with 100 tickets) which you can only play in green tags and with no further ticket rewards. If you’re keen to win tickets, go for regular playing card. If you’re tried of all the plays and fancy sweets and coffee, head back to ground floor where Rebel Doughnuts and Lavizza Cakes and Gelato located. Parking wise, there are parking spaces all the way down the road to Southeast Water building. We will definitely come again. We highly to recommend General Public to everyone.

Absolutely amazing - food was delish, very reasonably priced & the cocktails were even better!!!
Counter Staff super friendly & also advised us where to sit (for a bit of adult privacy) as the reserved tables had lots of children on them. In fairness, it is a fun gaming venue & it was school holidays ... so it was to be expected!
Will most definitely be back!!

10 of us from 3 yrs old to 64 yrs old, including 4 teens.
They all enjoyed this place. Plus lunch a variety of pizza chips. Fun bowling and video games. Lolly shop on entry level and cafes, eateries, large slide for kids.
