We pop in here for dinner sometimes to take advantage of the wonderful meal deals they offer. All information can be found on their website. My children love the kids meals here and the free paddlepop afterwards always brings a smile to their face! The meals are bought out fast and are large and filling. The chicken parma is a favourite and so big sometimes it's difficult to finish. There are colouring in things for the kids to have at the table plus a kids pack at the counter and a children's area with ipads to play games on. It's always lovely and clean here as well with staff cleaning tables often and clearing plates and cups. Being a member also entitles you to a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate each day from the coffee machine. The staff are always extremely helpful, pleasant and lovely and have gone out of their way on many occasions to make our visit even more enjoyable.

We have been in the club for meals a number of times. The first few dinners were great but the quality has dropped off over the last 12 months. The Sunday roast was particularly disappointing as the meat was obviously not from a freshly roasted piece of pork, but a pre-cooked and reheated offcut

Very well set out, easy to find a table, drop off at front of club as my mobility is hard at the moment was good for my mate and shecwas able to park directly opposite the club.
Choice of foods to cater for evey dietry need was excellent.
Easy to get a drink from multiple bar's and bistro 😊
Staff are friendly, helpful and effecient.
Reception staff are very engaging and were helpful as I made my way to the front for my mate to pick me up , helped me to get into her car so she did not have to get out and help me.
Great experience, well done and I recommend it to my friends and family.🌼

tucked away behind the construction of Charnwood is a great place to take the family for a solid and delicious pub feed.
I'm always a little disappointed as the prevalence, and in your face feel the pokies give here but in the dining room, or to the left in the bistro area its well accommodated and comfortable for a meal any time of the day.

The official drinking hole of the Charnwood's... What's the opposite of 'elite'? Seriously though I love this place.
I think this "The Simpson's" quote sums up my feelings on this location perfectly.

The chef remembers us every time , good portion for the wife and chilli for me . Bar staff are friendly and pour a good drink . Thanks

Staff in restaurant are amazing, gentleman goes above and beyond every time. Bar staff are great also.

Sick and tired of the meat raffle being scanned before draws.
The last winner showed draw next.
Not to mention managing staff and the way they treat staff number.
I have herd confiscation, on how they treat them. Not good.. I’m a customer should not hear that.
2: Managers need to be treat equally.

Service was poor after returning the food as it was off. Young lady serving was very rude.

Not one to usually share my thoughts publicly on the service of a place, however the impressions have had a lasting affect. The personable way the staff take care of their apatrons, using the clients names and adding value to everyone’s visit is fantastic. I honestly don’t even care that little mining man took off with my $20. I obviously didn’t find that gold. Great service, would recommend to family and friends.

Nice cosy club with lots of pokies if that's your thing. Also a good bistro with delicious food at reasonable prices. Kids get a free dessert and there's a kiddies area with tablets they can play on. Regular lucky draws and friendly staff too.

My family have come a few times in the last couple of weeks on a Tuesday evening. Staff are nice, food is alright. But I do have to say, the Chef is absolutely rude, atrocious attitude. Can’t make one simple change on a burger and has a go at the staff member, who asked politely and also my husband. I’ve worked in hospitality myself, so please help me understand how hard it is to cook a chicken patty instead of a beef patty?

Meals are great value and very tasty. Oysters quite cheap. All staff have lovely smiles and very helpful. Great place for lunch

Lovely little local pub!!
BUT seriously that mushroom sauce is yuck!! Every time I order mushroom sauce hoping and praying that they’ve created a new recipe and every single time I’m left disappointed to once again discover it’s the same old dark disgusting sauce.
Please please do something about this!!

It doesn't reflect well on the company that in a suburb with a primarily low socioeconomic demographic, the charnwood labor club's gambling section is the right behind the front desk, and you have to walk through it before you get to the restaraunt section which appears significantly smaller.
Maybe it was a bad day when I went, but the chicken Kiev I ordered was still slightly pink. I felt bad for not eating it, but I also prefer not risking illness. I could also hear the people sitting behind me talking poorly of the food here, too.
The saving grace of this place was the wonderful staff. The people who served me were lovely.

I had Zucchini fritters and they were just soaked in oil hardly any filling. Ate one couldnt eat them yuk

I had a catch up with girlfriends as long time not going anywhere. Bar service was lovely.
People in general were lovely.
Food not so much. Disappointing.
I bought Chicken schnitzel, gravy, chips and veg.
One girlfriend bought Chicken Kiev, chips and salad.
Chicken was nicely cooked.
Gravy was tasteless.
Chips were cold and old on both plates.
Vegetable tasted odd and had a sour note to them.
Salad was ok.
Told the lady who cleared our plates, without being nasty in anyway about this, as left most of meal on said plates.
Did not seem to care much. Not impressed.

Can't beat the snitzel and gravy anywhere. Relaxed atmosphere and fantastic staff. I'm now a regular for dinner. Simply awesome.
Snacks and free softdrinks at the poker machines .

Another terrible meal, I ordered steak thinking what could go wrong, salad was wilted, no dressing, chips cold, steak as thin as paper and fatty (took home for the dog), gravy on the side was disgusting and lumpy! I wish the club would change caterers 🤮😤
