Went to diner at the Gladstone Yacht Club on Friday night with the family. I have some mixed emotions about the clab, as the food was good, service ok, but the atmosphere was horrible, loud, hot layout issues. It was hard when looking at what to review the club. Go for the food, make sure you book, and once your there hope for a more quite part.

This is an old style club overlooking a river. The 1970s decor is still good although the furniture has seen better days. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is average, and took me ages to cut up and chew the leathery steak. The wine was awful, and would not suit people who like a nice red. Definitely worth a visit whilst in Gladstone.

This is a cute, must visit restaurant in Gladstone. The verandah overlooking the ocean is beautiful and you can enjoy having your meal with a wonderful view!! The meals are quiet large and very tasty. Staff was poliet and friendly too.

The yacht club is a great spot for a meal and a drink. The outlook over parts of the marina and water is relaxing. The menu is extensive and there's an item that will please most people's taste. The service was cheerful and eager to please. Meals are served from 11.30 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm. My order came quickly. It was fresh and tasty. A recommended venue.

The place has no aircon or adequate fans the fans they have are so small and full dust the don’t work and look like there from 1968
The salad was old and soggy and drowned in dressing. Must have run out of tacos so put fish inside a wrap was just a bit of fish and rest was wrap definitely over priced meals for what we got

The food was good here with good servings for your money. Staff were very friendly and prompt with getting orders out. The only downside was that tables were booked out, so we had to sit at the bar area with young kids and my short a55 on bar stools while the reserved tables remained empty for our time there, it was also really hot inside which made the heatwave outside seem like air-con when we left. I would probably go again without kids as it's not the greatest for them.

The food was delicious. The salmon was outstanding and the green beans were so fresh. The fish of the day was Snapper. Had it battered. Not pricey for the quality food. It is an old building and has a lot of history. Located right on creek, make sure you bring your mossie and midgie repellant. Gladstone is a breeding ground for them.

Nice views, bland food. I came here for a Thursday evening dinner. We enjoyed the sunset. It was quite busy. But the food was disappointing. The salad was uninspired, the beef was tough. The crispy chicken burger was bland. Prices are on the higher side, $27 for a chicken parmi.
I’d come here for a drink but skip the food next time.

NICE PLACE FOR A LUNCH WITH VIEWS OVER THE WATER
The Yacht Club is located at the base of the lookout hill and a good place to stop by fro a drink or a meal. As it's a club, visitors need to sign in at the counter before ordering food (one counter) and drinks (in the bar area).
Food is reasonable without being great.We chose to sit in the outdoor area as it was a sunny day and the outdoor has better views across the water.
The dining room is one floor up (via a fairly steep stairway).

Loved my delicious seafood basket I had for lunch, with an amazing view from the restaurant I could have stayed all day, great service and friendly staff I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I went here a few months ago and had the lemon pepper calamari and it was great as a MAIN meal not an entre. I went back a few weeks later and I was served the same meal and it was very light on with calamari. Then the last straw was I ordered this again, and it was like they had the entre cooked and just dumped it on a heap of chips. This was $28 for an entre and crapy chips. If this was the MAIN meal I would like to see the entre. I loved going to this pub and taking family there, but now it has changed fir the worst. It is so sad as this place used to be an icon in Gladstone.

I've always loved the view from this place. The last few times we've been here, the food has been great. Highly recommended 👌

I have to agree with Andrew Frodshams review on the seafood pasta. $42 and I wouldn’t pay $20 for what we were served.
A small Bowl of spaghetti with 3 prawns, 2 mussels, 2 small strips of calamari and 5 tiny bits of fish. Honestly the bits of fish would have been slightly bigger than a 5 cent piece. It was a joke. Only good thing I can say about it is the MINIMAL seafood that was served was cooked well, but I paid $42 for a bowl of SPAGHETTI. Husbands steak was spot on but my meal was a BUG DISAPPOINTMENT and RIP OFF! Never again

I asked for grilled fish and was told that that’s ok. But when the meal came, the fish was battered. I sent the meal back and when it back again the fish was battered. Not very nice. Service was good.

Had a good visit to yacht club,was a Friday lunch time,place was busy but got a table for 2 okay an was a reasonable wait to have meals served.
I had fish Tacos as starter I found them to be a little too spicy for my liking an overrode taste of fish.
For mains I had the lamb rump on mixed roast vegetables,I enjoyed this as lamb was cooking perfectly an loved the sauce an always love a variety of nice roasted vegetables.
All the staff were friendly,great service and a lovely view from our table to top it all off.

Food was really delicious, I can highly recommend the prawn and chorizo fajitas, very large servings. Nice location right on the water. Big outdoor area on the water that is pet friendly. The food came out very quickly and the staff we dealt with were very nice to deal with.

Fantastic view, plenty of seating and parking.
We chose the Barramundi and also the calamari.
Both were delicious and well priced.

Excellent setting for lunch overlooking the water, four of us ordered off the menu, fish of the day, seafood bowl, steak sandwich, and sweet potato salad, no complaints, all meals came out together and good size portions.
