What a wonderful pub, beautiful food, the staff are so lovely and helpful, we sat outside with our pups in the sun!

We had a meal this evening at the hotel and left very happy. Beautiful location with large grassy area for our kids to run around on the bank of the Murray. The staff were very friendly. The meals came out in less than 10 minutes and they apologised for the wait! Kids and adults happy with their food.

Very expensive for poor quality food. I got half way through a chicken snitzel then realised it was completely raw, I was refunded and service was good but quality and price of food was disgusting. I'd avoid here. Mildura has lots of better pub feeds to offer.

This place has so much potential however the food and service is pretty average.
On our second visit the only food available was on the snack bar menu so we ordered a pizza and chips. The waiter who made our drinks was also making the snacks and did not use any gloves nor did they wash their hands before touching the frozen food that was served. Basic kitchen hygiene should be used for both restaurant and snack food!

The light wasn't the best in the bistro. Did have great service and food was amazing.

Standard pub bistro menu, great river views. Outdoor and indoor seating. Small playground, large grass between the pub and the river. Mooring for houseboats stopping for dinner.

Over priced, spent 150 dollars on food and my 5 year old could cook a better meal. Couldn't get right sauce on 1 meal, chicken pama was dead cold and they brought entrees and mains out together. Plus there's a 5 dollar sur charge on a Saturday per head. Even your dog would leave hungry

No complaints from us, food arrived very quickly, it was hot, presentation was very well done.
Prices were great, pretty busy and lots of very friendly staff working.

Nice pub with outdoor dining where you can bring your dogs. Service was very friendly. Food was a little hit and miss. Friend's steak was grissly and tough and chicken was a little dry.

My fiance and I held our wedding here recently and we were so happy with the service, food and decor Lisa and her team provided, we just can't express how much they went out of thier way on our special day. Thankyou everyone involved it was everything we wanted, I recommended this wonderful place for your next special event.

Moored our houseboat at Gol Gol Hotel 3.3.24 and had an evening meal there. The two young women managing the restaurant bookings and meal service were outstanding. They were so genuinely friendly and helpful it was such a pleasure to be there. I hope this message gets back to their employer as they have two excellent people on their staff that should be commended for their efforts. Oh, and the food was great too!

Kulkyne chicken was dreadful first time and second time after sending it back. The sauce tasted like butter. Used to love this meal, but will never go back for a meal

Just went for a quick meal on our way through town.
Lovely spot.
Meal was good and served very quickly.

Had lunch with the family at the Gol Gol hotel recently when holidaying in Mildura. Food was acceptable and the staff friendly. Unfortunately there was a persistent beeping sound coming from the bar that could be clearly heard from the bistro area. I'd say 20+ beeps per minute. After some time I asked the person at the bar what the beeping was. They sheepishly answered it was a security alert from the adjoining bottleshop. Sadly no way to turn it off it seems. We didn't stay long...

Had lunch here yesterday. Very average carbonara and house special chicken Parma wasn’t good resulting in the bar manager refunding the cost.

Had dinner at the hotel. Food was delicious and the drinks were nice and cold. Service was excellent.

Had dinner after parking the house boat for the night. Great dinner and the young girls serving us were so friendly and amazing. Have not felt so welcome for a long time. Staff like this are hard to find. Look after them guys, they are worth gold

Great service. Pet friendly - waitress came and offered some water to our Rottie. Lovely cold drinks and great food. Setting was perfect overlooking the mighty Murray

Great little pub to have a beer in a very delightful spot on the Murray River but as much as I have raved and told people to visit I still recommend this but highly recommend not eating there as food is not only average but often under cooked and rushed grab some greasy KFC is a better option

Dropped in to watch the footy with the missus is the public bar. Food was good pub quality and not overly expensive. Locals are friendly beer is cold and both AFL / NRL on the TV’s.

Been 40 years between visits and this pub has retained its charm even with the many changes since my last visit. Some ice cold drinks on the lawn over looking the mighty Murray was just the ticket.
